This collection of short stories was heart-warming and inspiring. Identity is so important to who we are. How we define ourselves. The characters feel real, like you could bump into them at your local coffee shop or walking down the street. Definitely recommend.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of Tales of Identity from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This one was interesting and compassionate for the most part. I think understood the goal of the author. The separate stories were very well thought out and seemed to encompass A GLIMPSE of most identities. I do believe the struggles of these folks are much more complicated and more all-inclusive of their entire lives than just the clips of time selected for these short stories. I think this was a very rose-colored vision of the lives of some people in these situations. (Just the one with the wings did not seem to fit, and I am not sure of the point of that one. ?)

Thank you to NetGalley and Jaimi S.T. for the ARC.
