I’m not sure how I feel about this one still. I liked it while I was reading it but I found it very forgettable. I did really like the characters and the story line.

I read this one over a nice weekend break, it was well-written and entertaining but a little slow to get going.
Tansy was relatable as an MC although she did annoy me at times but that could just have been the pace of the book to be honest. In contrast, i really enjoyed the background characters!
Ranald includes an eating disorder in this book but doesn't really explore it very well which is something I would have liked to have seen in a contemporary novel these days.
Overall it was an okay read and it did keep me going over a weekend but I'm not sure it was overly memorable.

I liked the story, but I was expecting a little more comedy than I got. The book is more of a journey to finding one's self before falling in love. Tansy does have some funny moments, she's pretty chaotic and quirky. While trying to figure out what went wrong with her ex, she develops meaningful relationship with colleagues, friends and love interests. The ending was good and I enjoyed Tansy's journey. My one complaint is that there felt like a lot of filler and some secondary characters could've been removed. I would be interested in reading more about the characters in future books.

I really liked this! It tackled serious issues like self-worth and body image, but managed to still be hilarious and swoony and everything you want a contemporary romance to be. It did start a little slowly, but I'm so glad I stayed with it because it was one of my favorite recent reads. I recommend this as a lighthearted and well-written romcom.

Thank you for the ARC!

The title obviously drew me in. Readers will definitely connect with Tansy over heartbreak. I did enjoy the message of the story about how it's not really ever about the guy and how we need to focus on ourselves first and foremost. The writing wasn't bad and I as never lost as she changed timelines. I was worried how the book may end, but it completely won me over!

I wasn't able to get into this one I think because of the chasing after the ex premise. I think it's one of those where I might enjoy it at another time, but not now.

DNF

Honestly all I can say about this book, is: it's not you, it's me. The premise sounds fun, but when I read it just didn't hold my attention. Maybe I'll try this again in the future, but for now it's a DNF

Really enjoyed this book. After reading so many thrillers lately, it was nice to read something more light-hearted. It was amusing at times and I enjoyed Tansy's character and the plot. Looking forward to reading more from the author in the future!

A relatable story for anyone who has had a festive break up.

This story was easy to read. It didn’t take long for me to finish. I loved the story, it was uplifting and I laughed out loud at times.

I really rooted for Tansy throughout the story. The things she does to get her ex back are so realistic. You can’t help but connect with her yet I love how she grows as a character. It was like listening to a friend and at times being frustrated that they don’t listen to you or take your advice. When I finished reading I felt like I had been cut off from my friends and I missed them. I got so invested and engrossed in the story.

I thought I could guess what was going to happen but it didn’t end where I thought it would. This is part of a series which I read in the wrong order, but this didn’t matter. The story was still easy to follow and I didn’t want to put it down. I think the fact that I read it in the wrong order shows testament to Sophie’s writing as it didn’t take away anything by not reading the one before first.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to read and review this book.

After losing and replacing my broken Kindle and getting a new phone I was unable to download the title again for review as it was no longer available on Netgalley.

I’m really sorry about this and hope that it won’t affect you allowing me to read and review your titles in the future.

Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity.
Natalie.

I’ve realized I don’t care for most “women’s fiction” stories. At least the kind I’ve been getting through here.

A hilariously funny story about an lady who is feed up with men. She decides to even the score with the opposite sex to show that men and women are equal in battle of the sexes.

First of all let me say that this book is well-written. I found the plot to be enjoyable but pretty predictable. It really reminded me of Sophie Kinsella. That isn’t a negative statement though, Sophie Kinsella is a fun author.
Overall, I liked the book. The protagonist took a long time to grow up in the book but that may be pretty accurate today in that age person.
I would recommend this book. I was given a copy of this book for an honest review which I have given. Thanks to the Publisher and to Netgalley.

Funny and enjoyable to read although it was unnecessarily long. I recommend it to lovers of chicklit or humor books. It's perfect for a beach read.

This was a fun, quick read. When Tansy is dumped by her true love Renzo, she will do anything to win him back. Anything meaning, a fake boyfriend, drunken texting and many other cringey foibles. She knows Renzo is the perfect guy for her and the one that got away...or is he? On the surface, this looked to be simply a how to get a guy back story. Instead, Tansy is a well developed character with a full life and shows a lot of personal growth through the book. I enjoyed this one!
