1884,New Orleans and murders makes for a great read. This book is detailed, characters are interesting, and the storyline is entertaining.

Having, myself, a large New Orleans themed personal library including coffee table pictorials, cookbooks, mystery, historical, and contemporary literature as well as nonfiction, I have to say that I was most impressed by French Quarters (why plural?). It is well written and reminds me a bit of David Fulmer’s New Orleans mysteries. The author seems well versed on the city and it’s history. I believe that with the services of a good editor to smooth out the edges the publisher has a winner here.
