I'm a big fan of Lucy Dawson's novels and am always excited to see she has a new one out. Charlotte is an established author but approaches a young up and coming actress to be the 'author' of her latest novel. A promising debut can generate far more buzz and higher money offers. There are obviously many twists and turns in the novel and to go into the plot any further would spoil it. It's a very gripping and engaging novel and I would highly recommend it!

Good on the edge of your seat book. Such a great read. This author never seems to disappoint. Just when you think you have it figured out you are wrong.. such a great twist!

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for an early release of this book.

I found myself disappointed with this book, although it was well written I felt nothing really happened. I figured out the twist really early on in the book and was waiting for something else.
Thank you netgalley for this advanced copy.

Charlotte wants a favour for Mia that could make them both rich. But is it going to be worth it for either of them?
I really enjoyed this book, with its twists and turns and the interesting unreliable narrators. I didn’t know so to believe. I fell for a lot of the red herrings in the book and massively enjoyed being teased!
This is for fans of other Lucy Dawson books and someone who wants a darker Jane Fallon!

I received an ARC of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. My opinion was in no way influenced by this.

What starts as a domestic suspense tale turns into a dark study in lies, illusion, and revenge.
The narrator is unreliable and this adds more fun to the narrative.

As with most cases a picture perfect life is in reality far from it, and the hidden cracks will soon emerge with tragic consequences.

Thanks Netgalley, Bookouture, and author Lucy Dawson for an ARC in exchange for an honest opinion.

Psychological thrillers is a tough genre and to try and release a unique and original story is a mean feat. Lucy Dawson has done it with this book! What begins as a typical tale of revenge becomes dark and twisted and completely unpredictable. I loved it. I read it in one night. This author just gets better and better! Highly recommended xx

Reading through the other feedback for this title and I feel I’ve read a completely different book to my fellow readers. Don’t Ever Tell bored me, nothing grabbed me and nothing left me wanting more. I tried putting it down and coming back to it but I still felt the same. There’s nothing that gripped me and that’s what I like about a thriller.
I wouldn’t be able to recommend this book.

Don't Ever Tell by Lucy Dawson is a compelling and twisty thriller that will have you questioning everything you think you know. This is a fast-paced and well-conceived tale that kept me riveted from beginning to end,

Charlotte is a busy wife, mother, and writer who is frustrated that she is not supported by her husband, Tris, in her efforts to produce her next novel. While the marriage appears at first to be strong, the cracks begin to show and, as is so often the case, all is not as it seems. A chance meeting with a young woman at a book signing, who happens to bear a striking resemblance to Charlotte, sets the latter's mind to a possible new direction for her stagnating career, and sets the course for a dark and twisted chain of events.

This story is told from the alternating perspectives of Charlotte and Mia, and the author is successful in achieving a unique and empathetic voice in each woman. I was particularly drawn into Charlotte's narrative, and questioned her credibility more than once, which was hugely enjoyable. After all, what is more fun than an unreliable narrator? I am anxious to read more from the talented Lucy Dawson.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for this ARC.

It’s always a treat to receive a new Lucy Dawson novel. Yet again she packs a punch with her writing; another dark and twisted tale, this one full of revenge. I really loved it and raced through it.

No one knows what goes on behind closed doors. The more perfect someone’s life appears to be, the better the chance that their life is built on illusion and lies. Everyone thinks Charlotte has a wonderful marriage, that she’s the perfect wife and mother, at the same time holding down the perfect job. Charlotte’s husband, Tris, is in for the surprise of his life in this bingeable novel of revenge
