Great suspense book! Excellent twist that I definitely didn't see coming. Well executed plot and interesting characters. This is the first book by Lucy Dawson that I've read, but it won't be the last.

I would like to thank the author/publisher/Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book and exchange for a fair and honest review

Many thanks to Lucy Dawson for the opportunity to review this book. A very good thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Charlotte has discovered a secret about her husband and wants revenge. Boy does she get it. Trist is about to discover that is wife is no woman to mess with, he can't have his cake and eat it.. Charlotte , an author and loving mother, devoted to her husband till he crosses the 'red line'. He fell for Mia, an upcoming actress, who happens to resemble his wife. The book will keep you enthralled till the last page. I love Lucy Dawson and she has delivered again.

Having read previous books by Lucy Dawson, I was looking forward to Don’t Ever Tell and it doesn’t disappoint.

Charlotte is an author who has a book to sell, Mia is a young struggling actress. When Charlotte approaches Mia with a proposition which could change their lives, it doesn’t take long for Mia to agree. But Charlotte has an ulterior motive with regard to Mia and her actions will cause mayhem for them both.

The story is told from both Charlotte and Mia’s point of view. This is a tale with plenty of twists and turns which will keep you gripped to the end.

Charlotte and Tris seem to have the perfect marriage from an outsider's perspective, but it is far from that. Their marriage is going through a rough patch, what with Charlotte having to manage the house and the kids. She’s a struggling author who doesn’t find time to write, with all the household chores on her. She is rushing to meet deadlines and hold onto their marriage as well.

One day at a book signing, a young fan comes up to her. Charlotte is startled to see that looks almost identical to her, in her younger days. Her name is Mia, and she’s a struggling actress. Mia also has a disturbed past.
When they meet again a year later, Charlotte has a proposition for her which will change both their lives forever. It will give Mia that extra boost that she needs, and Charlotte will stand to benefit from the deal as well.
Mia just has to pretend to be Charlotte.
The question is – why did Charlotte choose Mia for this project? Is it because of the striking resemblance? Or could there be a different reason?
Mia is desperate for something to happen – she accepts the offer.

The book starts off as a domestic suspense, but eventually turns into a revenge thriller, which is dark and twisted.
You can pretty much understand the plot as it unravels – but the ending will still surprise you.

The premise of the story was good. Had trouble following. Marriage, betrayal, revenge. It’s all in there just a little disjointed.

WOW, what a fantastic book!!! I flew through Don’t Ever Tell within one day, and that included sleeping through the night and going to my daughter’s soccer game! This is hands down the best suspenseful psychological thriller I have ever read. I have not read any books by Lucy Dawson before, and I can’t wait to find out if her other books are as fabulous as this one! She has a new fan and follower! I don’t think I could come up with a single thing negative about this book. You seriously need to read this book. You will love it.

A fun mystery-thriller chock full of twists and turns. I really enjoyed this one, because I didn't see that twist coming. Mainly, because the twist I thought was going to happen didn't happen the way I imagined it would. This is the story of a happily married couple that isn't so happy anymore. The wife is exhausted and trying to squeeze in time for work (she's a writer). Her husband complains that she is not happy with him anymore. Its a mess. And then one day she meets her doppelganger and life is never the same. That's all I will say. Its an interesting story that does have some predictable parts, but not as many as you would think. The writing is solid, but that isn't what grabbed me. What grabbed me was this idea of the wife's relationship with her doppelganger - what was it and what happened? Anyhow, a good read on a rainy day.

DON’T EVER TELL was a great read with complex characters that had me hooked until the very end!

Charlotte is a wife and mother to Tris. She’s a somewhat struggling author, and they are having problems in their marriage. One day at a book signing, the one fan who comes up to her is a younger woman who looks almost identical to Charlotte. Her name is Mia, and she’s an actress. When they meet again a year later, Charlotte asks Mia to do something unthinkable...pretend to do something she didn’t do, but that Charlotte did. This agreement will have irreversible consequences.

Author Lucy Dawson does a great job of character revelation, and it was very easy to “watch” everything unfold while reading this. While I don’t think I was completely blown away by what I was reading, I still found this a great suspense novel that intrigued me. It’s an easy read with twists, and some likable co-stars in the forms of the main characters’ sisters. I am a fan of Lucy Dawson, and would recommend this to her other fans. I look forward to more.

Charlotte, an author, meets her look-alike (20 years younger, though), Mia. Married to Tris, Charlotte seems to have row after row with him. This, to the extent where their children and Charlotte's sister, Flo, become involved. Nothing good becomes of their involvement.

An book offer is eventually given to Mia. She can have 50% of the royalties (which Charlotte knows will be substantial) if Mia is the face behind the book. Mia is a pretty actress who does not mind the limelight.

Using the overdone "twists and turns" - it is the best way to explain what happens in this shocking story! Even if you think you have it all "figured out" - another surprise comes your way!

Lucy Dawson has done a remarkable job on this read!

I Highly Recommend!!!

Many Thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for a brilliant twisty story!

Loved this....I'm a big fan of Lucy Dawson and find myself devouring her books, Don't ever tell was no different.

Charlotte is an author, she has never quite hit the dizzying heights of JK Rowling and hit the big time, but when she meets up and coming actress, Mia who bares a resemblance to her, she spots an opportunity to piggy back on Mia's rising star.

What really piqued my interest in this book, is like Charlotte, I'm a struggling author so I was looking forward to seeing how this plot played out. I could also identify with aspects of her childhood.

What I also loved about this book was the strong role both Charlotte and Mia's sisters played in the story.

Great read thanks to Netgalley for the opportunity to review this book this is my honest opinion.

I Loved The Daughter and White Lies so I was really looking forward to reading this . I enjoyed it and read it in one sitting but I didn’t enjoy it quite as much as the previous two . We meet Charlotte , married to Tris she is a writer and employs a young actress to pretend to be her to sell her latest novel , we have no idea why . Charlotte says she wants someone young and beautiful to be the face of her latest novel but we surely know something is up . It’s well written and fast paced and we get to hear both Charlottes and Mia’s point of view . Both women have supportive siblings and parents and I liked the relationships between the sisters . Good satisfying conclusion and a solid 4 stars from me

Enjoyed this book which is a twisty tale - have to admit that I guessed one of them but there was more than enough to keep me interested.

Would be interested to read more by Lucy Dawson!

This book really let me down. I was very excited to read it based upon the synopsis, but a few chapters in, I found myself being rather bored instead of "thrilled". I wouldn't label this a thriller at all, as there weren't any thrilling parts in it. I cannot recommend this book to my book group or people that I know. Sorry. The story was well written, though.

I'm a big fan of Lucy Dawson's novels and am always excited to see she has a new one out. Charlotte is an established author but approaches a young up and coming actress to be the 'author' of her latest novel. A promising debut can generate far more buzz and higher money offers. There are obviously many twists and turns in the novel and to go into the plot any further would spoil it. It's a very gripping and engaging novel and I would highly recommend it!
