This book took me a long time to read, a good couple of weeks, I usually read a book in a couple of days. I nearly gave up on this.
It started well but then the author added strange magical parts. They were ok but then the ending???? Not going to add a spoiler.
This was given to me free from Netgalley recently so I presume it’s being released again but I see on Amazon it came out 10 years ago. I didn’t enjoy it.

This book was an average read. I had been expecting more but it was still an ok book.

An ok book

A beautiful but melancholy tale about two lonely people. Well written and captivating, but extremely surreal and slow. I can appreciate the quality of the book, but not to my taste.

A brilliant and well written book that kept me hooked till the last page. I loved the well written cast of characters, the humour and the plot.
I look forward to reading other books by this author.
