I couldn't get past the first chapter of this e-book. The writing was amateurish and obnoxious. Life is too short to read terrible books.

I really enjoyed this story. Two people from very different places have to work together to survive a very hostile land. There was a little repetitive action and sometimes the heroine wasn't the smartest in her actions, also there could have been more explanation about how and why they wound up where they were. I would enjoy a little more about this and maybe more backstory. Still enjoyable despite all that.

Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. I loved this book. Such a unique story that I actually just fell into, like I was there. Enjoyed very much and hope to read more by this author.

The story drew me in and made me want to continue reading to find out what was happening to Janie and Tarron. People from two different worlds meeting as they did and where. The mystery of what was going on around them piqued my curiosity and had me needing to know what it was that was causing it. An enjoyable read.
