We continue to explore the gamut of matings with Untamed Delights where we see true mates who have both imprinted on others leading happy and fulfilled lives. It’s clear that finding your true mate is more luck than anything else, and obviously, that can be an issue. No one wants to go through life alone and unloved so what do you do when you end up liking or loving someone else?

In this case, Mila’s true mate is already with her cousin when they meet and so he fails to recognize her as his mate. Painful as it is, she is forced to make a choice: tell them or not. She opts for not and lets them be but in the process breaks a part of herself.

Dominic can have any woman he wants and often does, because why not? Unfortunately for him, one of them has fixated on him and decided she wants him and her father is determined to get her whatever she wants. His increasingly hostile and malicious acts eventually lead to a massacre of shifters by anti-shifter factions.

But the dominant part of this story, like recent others is really about the myriad ways matings can happen and how a true mate can bring both pleasure and pain. Dominic and Mila fall in love and imprint despite all the issues. Happiness and love are a choice they make.

I really liked this particular installment because it’s a story of a healthy reaction to the loss of a potential true mate and it continues the pattern of taking the “true mate or bust” idea and shredding it. It feels subversive and I like that.

Untamed Delights is the NEWEST release of the Phoenix Pack series by Wright. I have had such a blast with this series, and the other connecting series as well. I am truly drawn into what this author has created, there is such a beautiful mix of strength and vulnerabilities and we see this in each book and the plots alone any reader would love not just romance readers. This author really pulls you into her world of action and sexy chemistry that is completely irresistable in so many ways.

Untamed Delights draws us in with our two main leads: Dominic and Mila! Mila is a Pallas cat shifter and is about to enter a arranged mating to a Russian wolf. Mila has recently been hurt by her true mate who chose another to bond with. Mila, even though she loves her family and doesn’t know if she can bear being apart from them, also realizes that she can’t stay around the man that rejected her but is still constantly around. But then she meets Dominic and now she doesn’t know what to do with this playful yet protective enforcer who sees the real her.

Dominic is a strong pack enforcer and a alpha male in his own right, but he has a playful side and loves his woman. And has never had one woman that he ever wanted to be with until he meets Mila, who draws him in like honey to a bee. He can’t get enough for her and for the first time in his life, he wants to take a emotional risk on her. Something he has NEVER considered in his life. But while there is a mating dance between Dominic and Mila, there has been a hit out on Mila and they never know when the next attack will come or who is behind everything in seeking her killed. Will they find the man behind it before the worst happens? Or will they be able to, as they work together, bring down the one hunting them??

Untamed Delights was such a fun book but I will be honest in that this story disappointed me at times. Dominic is a character I really have been wanting for the WHOLE series. Anyone who is a fan of the series knows exactly why and even though I enjoyed Mila for him, I just felt like this one lacked a bit of luster that I was really hoping for. The emotional dynamic between the pair is what I felt was lacking, not at all times, but I just didn’t quite get all the feels like I have received from the other books.

However despite the lack luster of feels at times in the story, I truly adored this book and Dominic and Mila make such a solid pairing. They both have vulnerabilities and what I truly valued the most in this story was seeing the way that they opened up to each other in such a honest and safe way. It truly showed how strong their connection was and how selfless they were in their true caring for each other and we need to see this more in romance for sure.

Overall I found Untamed Delights to be a breathtaking, heart stopping love story that will leave you on the edge of your seat, all tingly from all the sexually charged connection and humbled at the poignant moments that steals your breath away!

I was waiting like forever for Dominic story. Since the first book in Phoenix Pack series, he completely stole my heart with his cheesy lines and laid-back personality. I thought about him as a huge playboy and careless goofball. And after reading Untamed Delights I couldn’t be more wrong.

Dominic is my favorite hero, period. He is not only a possessive and protective male alpha but also a deeply venerable and damaged man. Behind his pick-up lines and wide smile hides a boy, whole childhood lacked love and caring parents. And because of this, he doesn’t want to be in a relationship, afraid of commitments and true mate thing. He prefers a one-night stand, but everything has consequences.

In a crowded shifter bar, Dominic met Mila, a vicious Pallas cat shifter. He felt a strong pull toward her, and Mila dismissive attitude toward Dominic only heightened his need to possess her. Firstly, Dominic wanted only to shook a bed with Mila, but with time he started to crave being with her, touching her and making Mila smile with dirty talks. And when he got to know her true mate secret and Mila’s life become threatened his possessiveness and protectiveness reached the highest level. Will Dominic get Mila human heart and make her Pallas cat purr?

Mila is an amazing woman. Cute, strong and member of crazy shifter family and pride. She knew what she wanted and wasn’t afraid to say what she thinks. Pallas cats are really mean and fierce. I love them!

I love how Suzanne Wright ended the Phoenix Pack series. She wrote a story about two souls who although weren’t true mates belonged to each other. She showed us that imprinting is good and sometimes even better than having a soul mate. She gave us Dominic we fall in love with in previous books but with more insecurities and deeply hidden pain. He wanted and deserved to be loved. Suzanne Wright didn’t disappoint. Untamed Delights was filled with action, new enemies, scorching hot moments and lots of funny, dirty talking! I really hope to see again these heroes in the next books!

Fun, witty, and an absolute must read. I'm a sucker for a good paranormal romance and Untamed Delights delivered everything I wanted and more. Mila is a likeable and loveable character and Dominic is everything you want in your Alpha male. Untamed Delights had a good dose of suspense and action to keep you on your toes and when it got steamy...it was steamy! I love it.
The middle for me lagged just a bit but not enough to deter me from the book or series. Untamed Delights can be read as a standalone and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I look forward to reading more of the Phoenix Pack series after enjoying this one so much.

The conclusion of the Phoenix Pack with Dominic and Mila's story.

It was a good ending to the series. The dynamic between Dominic and Mila was fun to read. There, as always, are a LOT of characters in these stories but I'm ok with it. The "Greta digs" weren't too long or drawn out like in previous books. Not too much drawn out female drama, which can be too much in other books. Just a lot of Dominic and Mila time with other pack members thrown in from time to time. I was worried that Dominic was going to annoy me because of his cheesiness in the other books. But Ms. Wright did a good job just telling us ways the pack got back at him and not dragging us through endless punchlines and corny dialogue.

The chemistry and interactions between Dominic and Mila were natural and the progression of their story was well written.

I know this is not the end of these characters as Suzanne Wright has said she's now continuing with the Mercury Pack, which is already in full force and the new pack introduced in these past books.

As for the wrap up, it was well written and fun to see a Happily Ever After for the Phoenix crew.

After the long wait for Dominic's story I have to say I am a bit disappointed. I do know that I have outgrown or become bored with the series. I was still looking forward to Dom's book. I was expecting more humor and for all of the other mates to give him a hard time. The guy's got him back by throwing a few pick up lines Mila's way but I wanted more. I really liked Mila and I love the pallas cats.

I also wasn't really into the fated mates versus imprinting. I felt disappointed for Dom and Mila. All in all it was an okay ending to the series.

What a wonderful series! I have read these books as they have been release since reading [bookcover:Feral Sins|13522957] all the way back in 2012. And not a single book in this series disappointed me. Suzanne Wright has done an amazing job of creating the world of these wolves and shifters, she has brought on the sexy and the compassionate, she as has done a great job with social commentary on the way we treat people who are different. But at the end this series was just fantastic, and I have to say that there aren't many series I can say that about. I have reread all of the book several times and I know that will continue to happen even though the series is over.
I always knew there must've been a very special woman out there for Dominic, but I never thought she'd be a half-Russian pallas cat, with a wolverine mom and brother, but I have to say that Mila was just so amazing as a leading lady, and I loved that we got to delve into what happens when you know who your true mate is, and you can't have them cause they don't recognize you and have already imprinted. I have to say that I've so happy that Mila finally decided to give Dominic a chance because he was absolutely perfect for her. And with their story comes the end to the series, I have to say I'm sad to see them go, but happy that we got a look into everyone's future, this pack will always hold a special place in my heart. Great job again [author:Suzanne Wright|5769764].

Thanks to the publisher for an ARC to read and give my honest opinion.

I love this series and since this was Dominic's book I had to give it a go. Dominic has always been the smooth talking shifter that has the cheesiest pick up lines ever. All the other mated couples never thought but hoped to witness his mating since he was always such a player. Mila Devereaux has a mate that already bonded with another shifter and the pain from that has forced her to want to move away from the pack. She fails to give Dominic a chance since her heart has already been broken and she fails to see a player as a way to move on.

What did I like? Dominic was a fun character in all the other books just because of his cheesy pick up lines. His relationship with Mila was a painful one at first because she failed to see a player as a respectable choice. which Dominic couldn't understand why she didn't give him a chance. Apparently this was one smart girl because she had to see it, and didn't believe his charming words.

Would I buy this book? Yes, this is a great series that I am sure has some great appeal out there. The relationships have hurdles but the author never fails to give you a great HEA.

Thoughts for the author? Excellent writing, these are becoming an addictive series. Book 8 though? I'm worried that these will be ending and I'd like to see something new come out.

Suzanne Wright hit another one out of the park! I’ve waited a long time to see Dominic’s story unfold and this did not disappoint. It was nice to see the serious side of Dominic after all this time and to watch him fall in love. It was hilarious how everyone got back at him for his cheesy lines.

Mila was awesome. I loved how she made him work for it hard. I wish there had been a little more closure with the fox. I loved getting more of a glimpse into the pallas cats, as it is my understanding that Ms. Wright will be writing a series about them..

For the final book in this series, it was a satisfying, if bittersweet, end. I loved the jump 8 years in the future at everyone, especially seeing all the kids.

Great book.

Que .. my crazy ramblings ass thoughts. I apologise in advance for the mess that is me and my half (maybe a quarter) functioning brain. This review is about to make not a lick of sense.

How bittersweet. Seriously it hurts my soul to know this series is done.
Yes I know there is more to come and this won't be the last we see of the them all however as a dedicated as fuck fan since the beginning of time when the <b>original </b> Feral Sins book was released (you know what I'm talking about)... it's bittersweet that we have finally reached the end of an era.

I'm so glad it was Dominic who seen us through the final chapter of the Phoenix pack. He has since the beginning of time held us in his cusp with his flirty sweetness and outrageous pick up lines. But we knew that under the surface there was more to him. For his story to be the last just sat right with me. It wraps it all up kindly and if it's even possible.. with a better understanding of what is to be someone's <b>mate</b>.

Mila could not have been anymore perfect for Dominic and the same is said for him to her. They balanced eachother completely. She is a delicious character. The kind that has all kinds of layers with so much depth to her personality. Solid in her mind she was comfortable in who she was, had her emotions in check and understood herself completely. It was a pleasure to read her story. I mean her personal story!. The growth of her as a character and how she dealt with the path in life she was given. I appreciate that she didn't bow down to the panty melting charm he displayed. I also love that she didn't string it out unnecessarily either. She was realistic, adaptable and easy to connect to.

The chemistry between them is fire from the start but their romance is a slow burn. They don't play about but it is sort of a game of cat and mouse. The reality of their mating is based on emotions not fate. Although maybe somehow fate decided to throw a curveball in for them two. It's a choice for them and when it comes down to it and their relationship that is what's important. It's not that they are made for eachother. It's that they want it so much they'll sacrifice anything to have one another. This one gets right into the feels and takes a slightly different path to most of the other stories in this series. I really enjoyed that this dares you to question the whole process. It's tests your beliefs on mating and really what ment to be.

As a far as characters go Suzanne is one of the best. Truly, At giving us phenomenal characters that have substance. Not just fillers to pass the time. Characters that you can dig your claws into. The relationships between them is natural and that really transcends through to me as a reader. The easy relationships, the banter and bickering. Some crazy outrageous shenanigans and a whole lota love. It's a family. Dysfunctional , absofuckinglutely. But you feel the bonds between them all which only serves to make this story so much more. It's part of the reason why I love them all.

You're getting action, suspense, romance, relationships, sweet, sinfully sensual, heartbreak and humour. It's a freaking rollercoaster of emotions. The story is written seamlessly with great character building and plot development. It has a little of everything's to keep you on your toes whilst still maintaining that signature Suzanne stamp that we all love so much. High 5 for sharp wit, hilarious banter, dirty greatness and action. She does that shit so well.

So reaching the end of this chapter I feel a little sad. Not because of the book because I knew in my bones that it would be great no matter what. And it is. It's fucking brilliant. But it's sad because I love these characters and all of their journeys. I feel like this book wrapped it all up in a neat little bow and gave us a happy ever after that I wasn't ready for. I'm a greedy bitch and wanted MORE. I feel like I'm mourning a death that nobody died.

I'm dramatic I know but seriously this book fucking rocked and I'm gutted to see it's the end. Even if it's not the end of seeing them.

I'm hella excited for the new series Olympus Pride and I just know this with be equally great in its own right.

Also the possibilities for the nex gen of the Phoenix Pack?., is that going to be a thing?. Please let it be a thing!.

Exciting times ahead here.

Mila, a Pallas cat shifter was trying to move on with an arranged marriage. Heartbroken as she watched her fated mate as he fell in love with her cousin, Mila was determined to get over him.
Dominic’s past was also riddled with emotional pain and insecurity. Ever the player, he was irritated and confused when a one night stand with a human turned into a twisted obsession on her part.
He was captivated by Mila as soon as he heard her sing, and was unable to put her out of his thoughts even though she wasn’t his usual type.
I liked the way this paranormal romance broke the typical mode by having this cat shifter bond with a wolf shifter instead of her fated mate.
Lots of action and adventure with some violent and bloody drama as this couple fights for their HEA. A strong female role in Mila as she helped stabilize Dominic and kept him whole.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book via NetGalley.

This was the first book by this author that I have read. Unfortunately, I should have picked a different title. This book is part of a series and is definitely not a stand alone novel. Within the first few chapters I felt like I had been left out of much of the story and ended up not finishing the book. I think if I had started with the first book in the series I would have had a different experience. The writing was well done and the characters were memorable. I was just lost when it came to the storyline.

This was my first Wright book, and based on looking at the reviews her fandom gives her books I thought I would find a new series to delve into. I was wrong. This is a stand-alone novel. The world-building and character development are enough for a new reader, especially for someone already familiar with the shifter novels. That is really the only compliment I have to offer this book.

First Dominic. Apparently, he is a fan favorite and readers couldn’t wait for his book. I don’t know how he behaved in other books, but in this story, he was gross, creepy, stalkerish, and inappropriate. He kept telling lame jokes and using bad puns both of a sexual nature to a stranger. Nothing about them would be appealing to a woman with a modicum of self-esteem. I don’t care how good looking a man is, showing up at your job after you rejected him the night before to hit on you with more bad sex jokes is not attractive. With everything, Mila was dealing with emotionally nothing about Dominic should’ve got through to her. Especially since she already dated a promiscuous jerk. It was also clear that the only thing that turned Dominic on about Mila was her saying no, and meaning no. If she had slept with him the first night he would’ve gone on about his business.

I will admit instalove annoys me. However at least mystical connections justify the rash decisions and declarations characters make. The fact that 3 characters know who their true mates are but don’t go to them makes no sense. There was no logical reason for Mila to keep Joel being her mate a secret. Sure he was introduced to her as her cousin’s boyfriend, but the drive should’ve overwhelmed her sparing the feelings of someone she doesn’t even like. He didn’t realize it, but by keeping it a secret she robbed him of a choice. Also, why didn’t anyone think maybe the thing that drew him to Adele was their relations. True mates are determined by scent, people of the same family have similar scents. So it stands to reason that he only started to date Adele because she smelled like Mila.

And as needy and weak as Adele was, you would think she would prefer the man who is her destiny over the one she has to make sure doesn’t spend to much time around her cousin. You would also think that Mila’s mother would’ve spilled the beans. It basically made no sense that imprinting would trump true mating. It also made no sense that Dominic would rather a woman he knows has a different true mate that is alive and well over the one for him. He saw his parents fall apart, it’s why he was reluctant to date. So why would he be willing to risk his, his mate’s, and any future children’s happiness for anything less than a true mate? It just doesn’t make sense. So when his true mate shows up he’ll just ignore her? This book should’ve taken a twist. Rosemary should’ve been his true mate. Her mental issues and meddling father should’ve been their romantic obstacle. The pacing of this book was also slow. And the big reveal of who put out the hit was stupid too. Because again, it would’ve been much easier (and free) to reveal to everyone in the pack who the true mates were.

I won’t be going back to read any of the previous books in this series, and I doubt I will be reading any future installments.

There is something about the way this author writes that just makes you devour her books! If there is one character whose book I've been waiting for, it's Dominic. He's the over-the-top, crazy, goofball flirt who is so ridiculous he makes you smile and laugh hard. But you just know underneath all that, there's something more...just waiting for the right one to come along.
Enter Mila. This heroine was exactly what Dominic needed, and deserved. She was a kick-arse chick who was fiercely loyal and strong, with a softer, vulnerable side she only let Dominic see. They were so great together and I loved the going on their ride with them to how they got to their HEA.
What I also liked was that they weren't true mates. And this has only ever worked for me with this author because SW is the only one I know who has pulled off the 'chosen mates' convincingly. I never once felt either of them felt 2nd best. They chose to be with each other (there was no underlying pull that 'forced' them to be together) and were all the more stronger for it.
A great end to the series.

I've always enjoyed this series and Dominic was one of my favorite characters. He's so different from the usual Alpha male shifter and I was looking forward to his book. I really LOVED the first 30% of this book. Dominic was doing his usual charming thing and chasing Mila at the same time. I also really liked Mila - she is a very strong female. I liked that she was dealing with the fact that her true mate had imprinted on someone else but wasn't giving up on having a relationship and giving herself time to heal. It was also fun to see her turn down Dominic and watching him have to work to get her time and attention.

There were two sub-plots in this book that were both interesting. Someone had taken a hit out on Mila and a human that Dominic had a one night stand with had decided she had a "sleeping" wolf and wanted Dominic to mate with her to wake it up. So there is plenty of danger and suspense to go along with the beginning of a romance between Dom and Mila.

For me the middle of the book wasn't as good. Dominic fell for Mila but lost a lot of what made him unique. He became the usual protective, possessive alpha male. I didn't see a lot of the charming, easy going Dom. Don't get me wrong, I understand why he lost some of that since Mila was in danger but I wish that aspect didn't get lost in the story since that's what I adored about Dom in the first place.

The other issue I had was with the whole true mate vs. imprinted mate issue. I actual like the idea of imprinting and free will to pick your mate. What I have a hard time with is that you can meet and know your true mate and disregard that as easily as it seems that the characters did. If it isn't that big of a deal than everything in this series about true mates is contradicted. This book made it seem like a mating between imprinted mates was just as strong as a true mate bond.

Overall, I did enjoy this book and the characters. It was fun to see some of the characters from the early book and there was a good mix of action and romance. There is also a lot of sex so if you like a dirty talking hero you'll love that aspect of this book. The book has a nice wrap-up epilogue with all the characters 8 years later and although there were so many names/kids included I got a little lost.

I enjoyed this book and this series. This was great ending to the series and I had fun reading about these characters.

I love Suzanne Wright books. This series of wolf shifters is fabulous. Great romance and plenty of drama. Loved this new one!

Disappointed and annoyed aren't emotions I associate with Suzanne Wright's books, but that's how I feel with this ending to a series I've loved. It's no surprise after reading the blurb that imprinted mates would be the focus of this book, and I knew that was already going to be less interesting to me. I just trusted Suzanne Wright to somehow craft a story that would get me past that, and she did to a certain point, but nothing she wrote convinced me about the main relationship. I will continue to love the series and recommend it to people, but I wish this book hadn't been the series ending.

Dominic is the ultimate player and Mila is the perfect woman to come along and tame his ways. She turns him down multiple times and makes him open up to her. It turns out Dominic is exactly what Mila needs too. This is such a great story and when Dominic falls, he falls hard.

It just amazes me how Suzanne is able to keep up with all of the Phoenix pack, Mercury pack and now the Olympus Pride and weave their stories into each book. I love the tight nit community amount the shifters.

This books explores even more shifter types than any of the other books which is always neat to me. There are several different conflicts in this one but the major one at the end is intense.

This is a definite must read for any paranormal or shifter romance fan. Read the whole series if you can but this can be read as a stand-alone.
