Wow. I've recently discovered this series and I was so excited for Dominic's story. I wanted more information on the relaxed, yet dominant male. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed!! I was able to read this before release date, courtesy of Netgalley.com for an honest review.

You guys. If you have read this series from the beginning (Or really any order), you know you form an attachment to these characters. I loved learning more about Dominic and his backstory. Suzanne Wright does a fantastic job of making sure you know these characters and the motivations behind their decisions. Dominic always seemed to act exactly how I expected him too. It wasn't a quick fall in love story; it took some time.

Let's talk about Mila. Her confidence throughout the novel is such a delight to read. It's interesting to read a story about a woman who won't get to experience her true mate but she doesn't hold it against him. She's such a big person and I thoroughly enjoy reading that type of heroine. She is accepting and ready to move forward instead of reacting pettily.

The action (as always) is enjoyable and the love scenes? Give a girl a fan. It is a fun journey that I hope everyone picks up. Be ready for a heart clencher at the epilogue, especially if you've been on the journey since Taryn and Trey.

Happy Reading!

I have been a huge fan of this series from the very beginning. I have picked up each book with a sense of excitement, having a pretty good idea of what the story will bring, and I haven’t been disappointed once. And this book delivered exactly what I was hoping for and more, as Dominic finally has his story told.

Dominic is the flirty player who has spent the last seven books dropping horrific pick up lines on whatever female happens to be in the vicinity. We’ve never really gotten a strong sense of who he is, and as we got to know and understand him more, and see him finally meet his match and fall and fall hard, I was absolutely captivated!

“You’re only on my ass because I’m the last unattached adult male in the pack. Just because the rest of you are mated doesn’t mean it’s wrong that I’m not. And just because all of you are happy in your mating doesn’t mean that being single makes me unhappy.”

With shallow relationships, there was no need to open up. But when it came to mating bonds, you had to give it everything you were. Dominic wasn’t sure he was ready for that. And if he couldn’t be sure that he was someone a female could fully trust, rely on, and care for, he had no business asking anything more from her than what he could give in return.

Mila is a pallas cat shifter who is dealing with the fact that her true mate has imprinted on another – her cousin, in fact. It’s devastating to realise that the one person fate deemed was hers rejected her before he even knew her, and she is doomed a life without her one. Not only is she hurt, but her cat just cannot cope, so she is planning on up and moving to her family’s home country of Russia and is considering an arranged mating when Dominic comes into the picture.

Mila knows Dominic’s reputation, and she initially wants nothing to do with the Phoenix Pack enforcer. But the wolf is persistent, and it doesn’t take too long for him to wear her down, and the fireworks that follow are sizzling!

He dipped his head and pressed a kiss to her neck. “We’re friends. Friends make each other come.”
She chuckled. “No, they don’t.”
“Special friends do.”

“I was kidding myself when I thought I could stay away from you.”

Like the other couples in this series, there is snark and banter, flirting and teasing, and a whole lot of sexual tension. They are honest with each other, they are functional and sensible about their situation, and I loved watching them find their way forward.

“You want it rough?”
“Yes” she bit out.”
“Why?” he lazily thrust back inside her. “So you can pretend this is just fucking? It’s not, Mila … You know it’s not.”

I love Dominic in the role of romantic hero. He throws himself all in with Mila, and there’s no turning back for him. He is still a complete flirt with a filthy mouth, but he is focussed only on his girl, and he is super protective and possessive, surprisingly swoony and gorgeously romantic. He reveals his vulnerabilities to Mila, and she is there to have his back, and even though she takes some convincing, I love that she is able to look past her pain and accept Dominic as a part of her life.

“I’m making the choice, here and now, to explore this with you. I’d be a fucking fool to walk away from it. I point-blank refuse to. I want to see where this can go. And so do you … Don’t overthink this, Mila. There’s no need to. Just stay … Stay with me.”

It's so beautiful to watch!

But as their romance is unfolding, they have both become targets to outsiders, and are forced to deal with threats, violence, dangerous media attention, anti-shifter protestors, and more than one attempted assassination. It’s action-packed and exciting, and there’s a great sense of mystery and suspense as I worked to figure out who the bad guy was. I thought I had it nailed a couple of times, but the twists and turns kept me guessing, and I was completely sucked in as it all played out.

The rest of the Phoenix Pack are all a part of the action, and I loved seeing them. Settled and happy, their stories continue to progress, and they not only there for Dominic as he enters into a relationship for the first time, but they fight by his side to protect him and Mila from the dangers that they are facing.

I particularly love the set up to this story. Of course the true mate bonding is always awesome to read about, but Dominic and Mila choose each other. They fall for each other and choose to be together, and in their world that is a very special thing indeed. Especially considering what the two of them have been through, and the rejection that they both deal with from incidents in their pasts. It’s beautiful to see them come together so naturally and then embrace it when things start to become serious between them.

“I swear, baby, this is the only place I want to be. I’ve never wanted, never needed, anything the way I do you. I should have known you’d make yourself this important to me. Should have seen it coming. You’re sweet and funny and bitchy and beautiful and so fucking strong. The best thing in my world. No one will ever be – no one could ever be – who you are to me. And I don’t have even the slightest intention of ever letting you go.”

Swooooooooooooooon!

I loved this book so much. It’s an immensely enjoyable read that is funny, exciting, super steamy and beautifully romantic with lots of paranormal goodness. It’s a fitting end for a fantastic series, and I’m so glad that it’s gone out on such a high.

4.5 stars.

Another great installment in the series! I've been anxiously awaiting Domenic's story and I was bit disappointed. Plenty of action and romance to keep me interested. My only suggestion would be pack charts. As both series progress there are so many characters and I'm not sure I'm keeping them all straight! Can't wait for the next one!

Another great addition to a great series. I did enjoy this one, although I missed seeing more of the wolves. This one has Mila, a pallas cat/wolverine mix, and Dominic, one of the wolf enforcers from the pack. I did enjoy this one, and would highly recommend it. Took a bit to get into though, but glad I stuck it out. Fun shifter romance, that is a perfect summer read.

Dominic is still my favorite of the Phoenix pack and this book lived up to my expectations. I give this a full 5 stars and 2 thumbs up.

Dominic lived up to all my expectations with his hilarious wit and awesomely creative and cheesy one liners and sexual innuendos. Only this time he devoted them strictly to one person instead of the mates of his friends and pack. Mila is a girl he meets in the Mercury run bar and at first he sees her as a short fling but quickly figures out he feels more for her than he usually does with women.

For those detractors that are disappointed in the fact that they are not true mates, and I have seen a few reviews that say that. Stating that it is getting old. I don’t know what series they have been reading, but if I remember correctly, most of the previous books have been about the couples actually being true mates but not realizing it at first because something was in the way of the bond forming, like emotional issues.

However in this one, I actually thought it was refreshing that they knew from the start that they were not true mates so they were not pining for that true mate link. Mila was at the very beginning but she got over it very quickly when she started to get the hots for Dominic. And really who wouldn’t? Dominic is hot and apparently so is another part of his anatomy and he isn’t afraid to tell everybody. This book was steamy!

The storyline about the threats was pretty great also. Suzanne Wright has a great formula for these books, where they all have a few standard elements including a romance between one of the main characters in the pack and another person, storyline to keep the war between the shifters and the human extremists going, and a storyline where a character in the romance is in danger or is searching for something in order to resolve something in their life. This formula works very well. It gives the romance additional angst or depth, it adds a lot of action and usually it adds some awesome fight sequences. I love it and could read as many more as she can write.

Milan has given up on love and decides to let her uncles set her up with someone to imprint with. Dominic wants Mila and he wants more than a sleeping partner. They must fight for Mila's life and their relationship. Love they chemistry and the crazy of these two.

Oh, how I love this author and anything she writes !! I am a huge fan of shifters, vampires, and demons and so you can imagine my giddiness the day I discovered Suzanne Wright's books. I have been a (stalker fan), ever since.

Writing this review is a bit double for me. This is the 8th and last book in the "Phoenix Pack" series after all and I am not bored yet....not by a long shot. No matter how much I have wanted to read "Dominic's book (ever since book 1) I am a bit sad now that I am done... I am not ready to say goodbye !! These people are all like family now ...if my family consisted of big bad broody alpha wolves that is :P

Thankfully, Suzanne has stated at the end of this book, that we will be seeing all our favorites again. They will have cameos in the new and upcoming series `Olympus Pride`. And I also have "Shard of Frost" to look forward too and new books in the "Dark in You" series. So no time to be sad really !!

As I have said, I have been a bit in love with Dominic since meeting him in "Feral Sins". I just knew that this incredible flirt would find an even more incredible mate ;) But....not a true mate. I liked that...a lot. We have had all sorts of mates in this series and most of them were "true" ones, but I am thankful that Dominic's story was different. They really made the decision to be together, without fate or whatever deciding for them. I mean Mila's true mate was right under her nose and she could have fought for him if she wanted to...but she didn't.

She didn't want to be with someone who was in love with another, not even if they were technically "made for each other". She chose for herself and her choice was Dominic...

This one was definitely another favorite of mine and I can't wait to read Elliot's story in Shard of Frost which is gonna be out about the same time this book is !!!

I highly recommend this series and all the others by this author !!

This is a great fun read and the last book in this wonderful series and wasn't it appropriate that it was Dominic's story The greatest womaniser and flirt ever is about to meet his match

He fell in love with her voice first yes they may not be a soul mated pair but they grow on one another and not only that Dominic grows he becomes far from the one dimensional characters that he has appeared up until no yes he is still that crazy person we all know and love but he becomes so much more I am sad to see the end of this series but I am sure we will have many more great books from Suzanne

I have been a huge fan of this series since the first book and I am a little sad to see it end. Dominic’s story has been a long time coming and it did not disappoint.
Dominic is not the one-dimensional horny goofball we know but so much more. We saw so many sides of him in this book that his image has been forever changed. His chosen mate, a Pallas cat shifter Mila Devereaux was the perfect matches. Overall a really good ending to a much-loved series.

The final book in the Phoenix Pack series. SIGH. The first book in this series was where I was introduced to Suzanne Wright. I have since read everything she has written, and never been disappointed. So, I'm kinda sad that this is the end of this series. BUT....., it was freaking awesome. Dominick has been a force to be reckoned with since the beginning. He is the guy you face slap yourself or him over. While in previous books he was more one dimensional, here he shines.

Mila is a Pallas Cat shifter, and darn those things are cute until they rip your face off. She is just what Dominick needs. I really liked that they got each other. There was not a lot of b.s. going around, they just fit. Their relationship was so well developed and grew perfectly. I am so happy that Dom got his HEA.

Of course, there was the ensuing threats that had to be dealt with and we got to revisit old friends. But their relationship is the star of this book. I love the epilogue in where we were able to see where the pack was 8 years later. Thank you Suzanne for a phenomenal story and series.

Dominic meets his match in Mila. Mila knows who her true mate is and is playing to move to Russia when Dominic sets his sights on her.
She doesn't give in and when a bounty is placed on her. She finds herself with a big bad wolf guarding.
Lots of action. drama and craziness!
I received a copy from NetGalley for an honest review.

Oh my, i have waited for a very long time for Dominic’s book to arrive. A[nd I was not disappointed at all, I love how the characters chemistry is and how she wrote their story. I’m sad to see this series end, but can’t wait to read more from this author.

I've been looking forward to this story for years. The hero is a character I've always felt had much more going on than he showed the world and I was not disappointed. The characters were interesting and intricate. Ms Wright has a way of incorporating the animal traits of each shape shifter into their personality in a way that feels completely natural. Her books are becoming increasingly popular in our store and I"m eager to have this one on the shelf as well.

Oh, Dominic. His book has been highly anticipated - after all, all the way back in Book 1 we were being teased about his heart of gold hidden behind walls so tall you can see them from space. And we've continued to be teased about it ever since. In this satisfying conclusion to the Phoenix Pack series, we FINALLY get to see what happens when he lets his walls down.

I'm a huge Suzanne Wright fan - I've read (and loved) pretty much every book she's done. Some more than others and while this one isn't my favorite that she's done, it's a classic Wright book in all the best ways.

Mila is everything you want in a heroine - she's strong, sassy, talented, and has an iron will. She's also not afraid to let someone in if they've earned her trust and she has no qualms about calling people on their shit. In this book, we find out her true mate has mated with someone else (her cousin!) and is unaware Mila is his true mate. Mila accepts this - begrudgingly - because he chose someone else and she wants his happiness (she also won't be a plan b for him). I've always liked the imprinting aspect of the series (Harley and Jesse from the Mercury pack are one of my faves) - we've consistently seen through the series that a true mate is fated, but you aren't fated to find them or to have a happy ending with them. You could never meet them, know them for years and never know, mate with them and end up miserable (like many of the parents in this series), etc. I love that we're getting another imprinted couple.

Dominic blew me away in this - he was persistent in getting Mila but hesitant when it came to defining their relationship beyond a fling. However, once he stopped trying to run from it (which didn't last long), he fully embraced it and was all in.

There's also a nice little epilogue at the end to wrap things up. Excited for what comes next in the Olympus Pride series!

A fantastic addition to one of my favourite series. I'm sad that this marks the end but happy with how the author tied up all the loose ends.

Untamed Delights brings the Phoenix Pack Series by Suzanne Wright to a perfect ending focusing on Dominic and Mila.

We’ve known Dominic since the first book ‘Feral Sins’ and although it’s been a long wait, it’s been worth it! He was my favourite character in the group, bringing out laughter and joy with all his humour and he certainly does that in this book but Mila, a Pallas cat and the heroine of this story is able to see what’s underneath and it was surprising to find out, as after all we haven’t been able to learn his backstory at least until now.

Without spoiling the story, we do get drama on the sidelines as well as assassins...including on getting the scoop on how everyone was in the pack. I look forward to reading the final book in The Mercury Pack as well as the upcoming series to come ‘Olympus Pride’.

I have adored Dom since the very first book. Watching him fall in love and use those cheesy lines was epic. Especially when the rest gave it to Mila, ot was definitely just desserts.
This book was everything I thought it would be and more.

Save the Best for last!!!!

It’s hard to say goodbye to characters that become so real that when they hurt you want to take revenge for them, and when their happy, you are too. But all good things must come to an end. With the last installment in Suzanne Wright’s Phoenix Pack #8, she most definitely saves the best pack member for last.

Mila can’t live among her pack, without doing some major damage to her mate, who gone imprinted on someone else. To get away she decided to go to Russia that was before playboy Dominic came into the picture. If you're following this series, you know that Dominic is the one how tells those cheesy jokes to all the females in his pack. Well, it’s now time for the males in his pack to give some it back. But first they, they must find the person or shifter who took out a hit on Mila.

Dominic was a fun-loving character that I certainly enjoyed getting to know. He can be fun and playful at times. But downright deadly in a fight.

If you’re looking for high entertainment and lovable characters. Then Untamed Delights written by Suzanne Wright would be the book for you. I personally love all of Suzanne Wright’s book, I guess I am a total softy when it comes to strong alpha and the woman they love.  Untamed Delights, fun entertaining story and a fantastic way to end a series, but an even better way to introduce a new pack for readers of the paranormal genre to get to know and hopefully to love.
