I received an advanced reader’s copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
This wasn't bad for a debut, and a thriller at that. It was a relatively short book, so a quick read. Although this did get a little unbelievable and far fetched at times, it comes together nicely. No OMG twists, you kind of get what you expect from it.

Best Psychological thriller I’ve read all year. Dear Anna has it all. It starts from page one and you wouldn’t be able to put it down. Dear Anna will god let you repent your sin? I won’t .....Medeia.

This book was absolutely everything I wanted it to be. It has a fast pase and the suspense was just killing me throughout the book.
Nothing is as it seems, the storyline is very well written and the characters feel like people you might know in real life.
If you are a fan of psychological thrillers or just plain thrillers that are greatly written, this book is absolutely something for you.

Life is good, and then you find out your husband John, is cheating with his secretary Anna, all while your husband is trying to get you to get on more depression meds making you think you're crazy, so he can be with his mistress Anna.
Anna and John decide to make their love nest in the one place that John bought for you...
That could become the last place for Anna...
Anna is a selfie kind of person goes to the gym always taking selfie photos doesn't really work out at the gym but wants everyone to see her not only does she have John the married man.. but she has her own boyfriend, she has her way with other men always seems to get them to pay for what she wants.. this was a fabulous book it's the first one I've read by this author I will definitely be reading more books by this author... read this book in 2 days once I started reading it.....

WOW!!! OMG!!! This is my first book by Katie Blanchard and I will be following her to see whatever else she writes. This book was awesome. As you read from the blurb Medeia is married to John, a wealthy man. The opening chapter is you seeing Media watching her husband having an intimate lunch with his secretary Anna, hence the name of the book. Media gave up everything to be married to John and then to find out he his cheating on her is devastating. But, that is not all. She finds out that with his secretary they plan to get her committed to an insane asylum so he can be rid of her. Well, Media is not taking this sitting down. As the book progresses, the author keeps the suspense increasing chapter by chapter as to what Media plans to do. And besides the fact, she has signed a pre nup which means if she divorces him she comes away with nothing and Media is not going back to that kind of life.
So she plots and plans, Media how to escape this situation and come out the winner. No spoilers here. Just read this book. It was a true psychological thriller. I would like to thank net galley for this ARC I received for an honest review.

"Don't be fooled by what you see. I'm not a dumb trophy wife"... one of this summer's best revenge novels is soon to hit your shelf! When Medeia realizes she is trapped in a no good, stifling marriage, she takes her life into her own hands - even if her prenup states she is entitled to nothing in the event of a divorce. She has worked long and hard to be the wife John can display in front of his friends and employees - "the heels may hurt, but their red bottoms let the world know that you have it all." Finding her husband deep in an affair with his secretary, Medeia takes to exercising at the local gym - meeting her new friend Jane. Jane and Medeia are soon to discover how much they truly have in common. Strong female bonds, manipulation, and a will to survive drive this story and keeps you turning the pages until the end. This debut psychological thriller is a quick read with storyline that will both anger you and find you battling your feelings on right and wrong until the end!

This book totally left me with all the feels. This book is about an abused woman who gets revenge on her husband once he sleeps with his secretary.. he tried to keep her as naive as he could by making her cut off all family members and friends but little did her husband know that she saw him with his secretary getting awful cozy. Revenge will be gotten and karma never felt so good. I loved how this book was only one perspective ( the wife’s) which helped me to stay connected to the story. This book will have you up all night long reading. It flowed nicely and was very engrossing. This is a domestic thriller at its absolute best, thank you to Netgalley for an ARC of this book for my honest opinion. #Netgalley

To be honest, I was a little wary with this, because the book started out so strong! Right away we went into finding out about the affair and it didn't feel like there was very much build up. BUT, I ended up really, really enjoying it. It was a very quick read because the story and writing was so captivating that you didn't want to put it down, My only "con" is that I don't find it to be a psychological thriller per se, there weren't any twist or turns, but it did mess with your head and make you wonder about Anna's mental state. All in all, this was great and I definitely recommend it!

Wow! What a thriller, action packed, exciting, riveting, powerful. Oh men, beware your betrayed spouse!
Medeia is married to John, a very wealthy successful businessman who has groomed her in more ways than one. Gone is the poor girl with a dubious family with little or nothing; she is now the trophy wife with impeccable grooming, taste and charm. But John has groomed her in the negative sense as well. Gone is her job, gone is her family (they are not good enough), gone are all her friends, gone is her confidence. He is the arch emotional abuser using his superior position to keep her in place, controlling her life, critical of everything about her, what she eats, her appearance her inability to cope; even controlling her interaction with her therapist. A therapist he deemed she needed after the death of her mother (killed by her father) when she was grief-stricken.
Then one day Medeia discovers that he is cheating with his secretary Anna. So she turns detective, following Anna, tracking her movements until she discovers just how involved they are. Divorce is the answer but she discovers the pre-nup will ensure she gets nothing and she cannot return to her life of poverty and nothing. So she devises a plot and what a great plot!
I loved the structure of the plot not only do we have this revealed through the text but we also have Medeia’s letters to Anna which gives more background to what is happening. Loved the character of Medeia obviously, but also Jane just wonderful. Really clever, enthralling and exciting, loved it. Just one thing, I was really, really worried about the one teardrop that Medeia let fall in the warehouse – is that going to be her undoing? Great book, great read, many thanks.
Thank you to the author, publishers and NetGalley for providing an ARC via my Kindle in return for an honest review.

This is a tale of an abused and scorned woman. I love a story about revenge, seeing just how far someone will go to get back at someone they feel has done them wrong never ceases to amaze me. As soon as I saw this book I knew I had to read it. And sure enough Katie Banchard did not let me down ! She out did herself writing her first ever psychological thriller.
So right away in this fast paced novel, we learn Medeia's husband is cheating on her with his secretary Anna. Her rich husband John is abusive and controling . She is not allowed to work or have friends. He isolates her from the world. He even makes her see a shrink and take meds. His goal is to make her think she is crazy so he can have her committed into an insane asylum . He is greedy and wants to make sure she gets none of his money. John however has no idea what it is like to have a woman scorned.
It is written from only one perspective, (Medeia's) so it is very easy to follow. This was my first time reading a book by Katie Banchard . This fast paced, heart racing thriller will have you quickly flipping the pages to see what is going to happen next. Once you pick up Dear Anna you will not be able to put it down so don't start it before you go to bed unless you want to be up all night. You will love and hate Medeia as you go with her on her journey to get revenge on Anna and her husband John. With vows broken and a prenup staring her in the face, Medeia refuses to go back to the shack of her childhood nightmares. Even if it means more bloodshed. The question is who's blood will it be.
Will Medeia succeed in her plan for revenge before they can have her committed?
Is Medeia really sane ? Or is she insane as her husband keeps telling her ?
Not 1 but 2 people die in this book. One is murdered the other takes their own life . Is Medeia one of them ?
The Dear Anna letters through out the whole book was such a perfect touch. They really let you see into Medeia mind and give it kind of a creepy feel.
All of the characters are very well developed . Even the one friend Medeia made along the way. I hope this authors writes another book with these two women .
As always if you like the book you read please take the time to leave a review for the author in places like goodreads & Amazon. It does not have to be long. Just a few sentences saying you liked the book will do. Authors really appreciate every review they get ! Dear Anna goes on sale July 16.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Thank you NetGalley.
This debut novel by Katie Blanchard was just ... okay. Honestly, it just felt like it was lacking a little somewhere. I can't quite pick where. It was fast-paced and got to the point. A typical "woman wronged gets revenge" story line. not the best, but certainly not the worst.

Medeia Moore changed her whole life to be with her husband, she changed her clothes, her hair and cut off contact with her siblings to live a better life. All seemed to be going well until one day before her husband's birthday, she saw him with his secretary Anna. They were getting cozy after lunch. Medeia soon learns he is cheating on her with Anna. Over the next course of the novel, Medeia will try and plan an escape route so she is left with something. During this time, she also stalks Anna and discovers all about her life, her cheating and how she uses men for her own good. During this time Medeia makes a new friend with a woman who was in a similar situation. One night, Medeia follows Anna and her husband and learns of their plan to make her crazy and kill herself. From then something inside of Medeia snaps and she soon realizes that it's every person for themselves and unless she wants to end up six feet under or stuck in an institution for the rest of her life, she has to come up with a plan of her own. So starts the plan to kill Anna herself and frame her husband for it. Dear Anna, was a fast paced book and I loved the different character developments for all the female characters including the supporting ones of Medeia's friend and Anna's friend. If you love psychological thrillers and romantic suspense and enjoy the TV show How to Get Away with Murder then Dear Anna by Katie Blanchard is the book for you.

Zero stars is all this book deserves, unfortunately.
Absolute drivel. Started off decently enough but quickly went downhill. Story went around in circles until the plot became so ridiculous it could have turned into a comedy--but not in a good way. Extremely poor writing, nonsensical plot., And characters that defy belief. Sexy scenes are ludicrous. No redeeming qualities in this book, and I cannot imagine why it has even seen a life in print. A waste of time, effort, and money when there are so many fabulous mystery and suspense novels out there--The Gift, She Should Have Known, The Date, and others that are well written with true suspense, wonderful heartwarming characters, and believable riveting plots.
Shame on whomever made the decision to publish this book.

Oh. My. God. I read the the plot to this and thought this seems like a fun weekend read. What I didn’t plan was to sit for 11 hours straight on my couch reading the whole thing! Ha! It was THAT good. A woman wants revenge on her husband for having an affair with his secretary. Sounds basic enough but what follows is anything but! This book is clever, unique and had some nail biting moments! One of my favorites of the year so far!! Run don’t walk when this book comes out!

SO GOOD!!! I know that is a simple phrase but it gets straight to the point how amazing this book is! Wow... I loved the characters and how well they fit in with this story line. Truly excellent.

This book is a perfect example of the quote "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." This is a fast paced story that is easy to read. I highly enjoyed this book!

I’m afraid this was a ‘did not finish’. Terribly sorry. I just could not connect with the main character and felt it dragged on.

3.5 stars
This is a well written book, especially since it’s a debut novel. It’s short and fast paced. There’s no dragging around. It’s written only from one perspective and that helps to keep it straight. It’s interesting enough that you keep turning the pages but it’s not a thriller. It’s a domestic drama with a murder but not a shocking psychological thriller as it’s being portrayed. There aren’t any twists in the tale that prove shocking. The characters are well created and make you wish you never meet such people. I’d call this a quick summer beach read. Overall enjoyable.

I'd like to thank the publisher and netgalley for providing me a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
I enjoyed reading this a lot!

Not bad at all for a first psychological thriller. Some things were a little far fetched, but the overall story was interesting. Good revenge
