I didn't expect much from this, but it somehow still let me down.
The whole blackmail story was just ridiculous, the insta-love between Katie and Armin was so unbelievable (they barely interact and suddenly they're tearing each other's clothes off).
Yeah no, it just didn't do anything for me.

Fluff.

That's the first word that comes to my mind after reading this book. It was a completely superficial comtemporary novel - a fluff read, basically. Nothing wrong with that, of course, but unfortunately not to my taste.

The entire political spin, was too simplistic to be believable. Monarchy and politics are not supposed to be simplistic. Few pictures here and there, and the entire opinion of the country changes? I would rather, such superficial political tension was not introduced in the book. The entire situation created was a lot of baloney!

The other part that I hard time digesting was the whole blackmail scenario. It was utter nonsense. And it made the heroine come off as stupid for falling for it. As well as the prince. Really? Have you ever heard of such gross security misstep in any of the real monarchy family's households? For a smart journalist, the heroine was pretty naive and gullible. In my opinion, the entire blackmail situation went too far for just few suggestive photos. Also, I just can't imagine a reporter (any real reporter) blackmailing someone for rumours and gossip, at the risk of his career. I did like that at least in the end, Katie stood up to him.

As for the romance, it was short and sweet. Too short, to be honest. There are less than a dozen times that the couple meets in the entire book, and this includes the first meeting where Armin hires Katie. What I did like was that Armin was not a typical arrogant alpha Prince. I would have definitely liked to read more about him. I just wish there had been more character development and longer romance.

In conclusion, I would rate this 3 out of 5 stars and recommend to all the fluffly romance readers out there.

Katie was desperate for a job. Only having a couple dollars left to her name she fell back on a job she had before becoming a journalist. Securing her position in a round about way she connected with the Prince’s young adopted daughters and changed their lives while trying to maintain her principles to keep everyone safe. Great start to a new series.

Short, sweet and lots of fun! This is such a good story that reads like a movie although I do wish it was longer. I love when the hero falls for the nanny! Katie and Armin are simply wonderful together and Armin is such an awesome hero!! I just love those little girls! I really enjoyed this book.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Relay Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is the first book in a series. Wildly unbelievable, but still a fun read. No nanny for a prince would be hired in this way. The children were cute. Quick romance 3 stars

This was a great read that involved such sweet little girls, a handsome prince and a woman who fell in love with them all. Leslie North does it again with here awesome writing and story telling!

Katie and Armin have rocky start but Katie helps Armin and his adopted kids adjust to their new lives together. I loved the drama that Katies journalist scandal brought to the story. Like all Leslie North book series that I have read it ended with a sweet togetherness. Now onto book 2!

Blacklisted from her job and despite for money Katie, takes a job as a nanny feeling it's the only other job she's qualified for. She took the job taking care of two kids that the youngest prince took. someone tries to blackmail Katie into getting the dirt on the royals for them or telling Prince Roth who she really is. Not having anything else to do Katie relents. But the more time she spends with Roth and the girls the more she falls for him and the girls.

A short and sweet romance between a prince and his nanny.
It was too short for me to really get a get a sense of their developing friendship and romance. There weren't enough cute moments or humorous interactions between them.
The story is typical of the genre and follows a very predictable path but enjoyable enough for a lighthearted read.

Katie Crestley has been blacklisted as a journalist and is running out of money. Her only previous experience is child minding, and she thinks her luck is finally starting to change when a job opportunity as a nanny comes her way. She manages to secure the job taking care of the two adopted daughters of Prince Armin whose family rule the European country Stolvenia.

An unscrupulous newspaper editor blackmails Katie to get information on the Royal family as the country is rife with anti-royalist feelings. Katie reluctantly agrees but finds it hard to complete her task as she begins to discover how selfless and kind-hearted the attractive Prince Armin is.

Armin is struggling to resist his feeling for the new nanny at a time when his focus should be on the difficulties facing his country. When he discovers her deception, he is furious, can Katie make him see that she does genuinely care for him and his adorable daughters.

This is an excellent easy read, perfect for a day spent sitting in the sunshine.

I received an arc of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Kate is in Stolvenia trying to work as a journalist but her past keeps following her. Prince Armin has taken his best friend's daughters to raise after he and his wife are killed in an accident. The prince needs a nanny for the girls. This is the story about the four of them and how Kate falls in love with all three but is being blackmailed to tell some gossip about the prince. As she finds out more about what a good man the prince is she can't go on with the deception. A good read.

Got a free copy for an honest review.

The story is your typical prince and nanny romance read. There are a few twists and turns which makes it not boring to read.

Katie is a journalist who after a scandal in the States has come to Europe in a hope to get a new journalism job. Things don’t quite go to plan and Katie ends up interviewing for a nanny position in the household of Prince Armin. Her interviewer doesn’t think she is the right person for the job however when the children meet her they bond immediately and when she is discovered with them by Armin she is offered the job rather than being thrown out as she thought she would be!

is used to only portraying the prince who always does his duty and believes that everything should be done to a schedule so that things are in control and privacy is maintained.

He has recently adopted twin daughters as their parents, his best friend, died but the girls aren’t used to him and they don’t have a proper bond yet

Katie straight talks to Armin and is honest with him about the children and what she thinks they need; his time, rather than just structure

Problem is that Katie is being blackmailed by the local tabloid paper and is being forced to feed them information. Will this tear her and Armin apart?

I enjoyed this book, it’s light and easygoing. I bonded quite well with Katie and think she is written really well. There wasn’t as much from Armin's point of view so it was harder to get to know him but when I did I enjoyed his character

I would recommend this book to anyone who wants an easy read, perfect for the beach
