This cover is beautiful!

This story between Trinity and Reece was great! Until the last 2 chapters... it kinda felt like the author was done with writing this story and it seemed to end rather abruptly. I would have expected the last few pages to be the epilogue a few months out. Maybe that's just me though.
Trinity is a NASCAR driver and Reece is a paramedic. They meet when he is checking her out after she has a wreck. Then she kisses him on national television.
Awe!

This is book 2 in this series and can be read on its own. I absolutely love the first book and wish we had seen Charlie and Chase more in this one. Just a little.

I just fell into this beautiful moving story, it is so well written with the excitement of Nascar racing and the happiness that is to be found in true love, both Reece and Trinity have suffered with losing people that they love and now it is time for them to find joy in the future together, I hope you pick this one up and enjoy it as much as I did.

Trinity Calhoun is coming home to Big Fork, she has a lot to think about and decide whether she wants to race anymore, it is in her blood but maybe she has been doing more for the brother she lost a car accident it is time to decide and then when an accident brings her to paramedic, her Angel Reece Balmain then more thinking is needed after a spectacular kiss that has her blood heating.

Reece Balmain grew up in foster care with friends that he feels are family he is a good paramedic and loves his job but when he sees Trinity Calhoun spin out on the track and goes to her aid there is a spark that ignites in him and a phone call that changes his life. Moving back home to Big Fork brings him closer to Trinity, but being close to Trinity also brings him closer to speeding cars and risks that worry him, can he get over that to be with the woman who has won his heart.

MS Kees made me feel like I was in Big Fork with Trinity and Reece, the feelings and emotions are so real, Reece is such an amazing hero man what a guy and Trinity she shows such strength and courage and it shines through, a beautiful story that I loved so much and of course catching up with characters that we met in the first book was like coming home to friends and I do look forward to more in this series, I do highly recommend this book and the series.

I am really enjoying this series of a family both bonded and torn apart by a family tragedy. Trinity's and Reece's story is complex. They meet at a race crash - she races for a living and his job as an EMT involves saving lives. He lost two of his foster siblings in a road crash and he is given custody of their young son, who was seriously injured in the same accident. After having a strong connection at the track crash, they both end up back in Trinity's hometown, where he has come to work and care for his new ward and she has come to help out in the family business and rethink her career. The story evolves very sweetly and naturally - though not without bumps - as they navigate their personal demons together. Looking forward to more from this author and this series.

so I had never heard of this author or (obviously) read any of her other books,,, so I am only guessing when I say this is maybe the second in a series (or third but leaning towards second) but that is only because the brother of our leading lady has a new family but all the others still single... you know that it is super convenient in romance how siblings all seem to find love at the same time!!

anyway I really enjoyed this book, so much so that I am going to be finding the other book(s) in the series to find out a bit more of the back story... and definitely going to be keeping my eyes open for any more by thus author

This had a lot of potential to be a 4 or 5 star read for me but everything felt rushed and don't even get started on the insta-love (shivers)

I received an eARC copy from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This has no impact on my review/thoughts.

Fast Lane was my first novel by the author and I found it only okay to my liking. I originally requested this ARC because I love car racing. I especially like it when authors incorporate car racing in their love story (for instance, I love Broken Wings by Jaymin Eve and Tate James).

Fast Lane is about a NASCAR heroine and there was definitely a lot of racing and techniques mentioned. However, I find it too much technical information about the topic and at times, I find it a bit info dumping and for people who doesn't have interest in cars, they will find it boring. I like mine more fun and the racing itself. Another thing I didn't really click with the story is the insta-love aspect between Trinity and Reece. It doesn't really help when both POV kind of sound the same. Trinity and Reece didn't have their own voices. There are times where the narrator points out something and a few lines later, the focused POV will mention it out loud. It's like ... how did you know what the other person is thinking if you guys didn't even verbally voiced out your opinion? Do you guys have telepathic ability? I don't know. I think that I just didn't mesh with the author's writing style.

This has a HEA with no cliffhanger!

Thank you again to Tule Publishing and NetGalley to have generously giving me this eARC in exchange of my honest opinion!

This is a great book about a race car driver and the paramedic who saved her. She is dangerous and he cautious. Completely opposite that attract. I loved this book. I was hooked and wanted more. I have never read from this author. It was a good read.

Thanks to author for providing this copy through Netgalley.
It's my second book from this author and I liked this one a lot. Although the first one in this series was better, IMHO.
This author writes strong independent heroines , I liked sassy and mischievous Trinity, she made herself in a hard to get through man's world of NASCAR racing!! She was good at this and she knew that.
The hero was ok, I didn't like the way he was reluctant about pursuing this new relationship with Trinity... Man, when you got this treasure you should go get it! A bit of alpha male wouldn't make it bad!!!!
Safe read, no cheating, no OP scenes. Almost clean romance. No explicit sex scenes

FAST LANE (Calhoun Customs Garage Book 2) by author Juanita Kees is a July 2019 release by Tule Publishing.

Trinity Calhoun was jolted out of her present reality of nearly dying when her race car crashed through the barrier. Then paramedic Reece Balmain helped her out of the car and received a nationwide televised kiss from Trinity for his effort.

And when she reaches back home to her sick father, she finds Reece there. But Reece was recovering from the emotional trauma of losing his best friends due to an accident. And trying to help his orphaned godson’s recovery.

FAST LANE is a sweet and exciting romance. Author Juanita Jees has a spell-binding way with her writing. I could visualise the story as it unfolded on the pages. She also did a marvellous job of bringing these two characters together for their happy ever despite their emotional baggage. This is an emotional and thrilling story with car races and drag races as well as family warmth and relationships.

Highly recommended for all readers of romance.

A sweet, female driven romance that I read in a single night! I love books where women have ‘unconventional’ jobs, it’s so refreshing to read about girls challenging the norm! This book had characters with depth and passion and dealt with grief in a really honest way without being cliched or a little bit cringeworthy, which some romances can fail victim to more often than not!

I’m really happy that this is part of a series so there’s more to get stuck into! This would be an ideal holiday read!

This was a quick read, it had kind of insta love but it did come across as organic. Though I would liked to have seen more in to the future but as this is part of a series, I assume we will see more of the couple in the next books. I had not read book 1 and I do not feel this detracted from the enjoyment of this book.
The two main characters were very likable and it was good to see there was not any unnecessary angst or a break up thrown in to create drama. It was about two people who felt a connection getting to know each other. Reece's world is turned upside down when something happens to his closest friends and this brings the H and h together after a previous meeting. They supported each other and communicated which is a difference in romance books!

I was excited to read this after having really loved the first book of the series. Fast Lane is a stand alone within the series and features a female race car driver and the paramedic she meets after a crash. It's lust a first sight with these two but major changes in each of their lives throw loops and obstacles into the mix. I liked the plot both where it started and how it evolved. I liked both characters and their individual charisma. It was interesting to see these two independent people brought to their knees so to speak.

However, I didn't like this one as much as the first book. There were parts of the actual burgeoning romance that seemed a little forced and contrived, maybe even too cheesy, between the two mains that messed with the chemistry for me. And some of the inner thoughts were really repetitive to previous spots of dialogue explanations. I felt like I read certain explanations more than once which didn't help ingratiate the characters to me as a couple. On the flip side, I really enjoyed looking deeper into the Calhoun family as a whole. The camaraderie and kinship there makes for great family drama and togetherness. I'm hoping Mason's book is next in the series!

A fast and enjoyable read.

Trinity is a racing driver, and Reece is the paramedic that helps her after she crashes in a race.
He is dealing with some serious issues, after the death of his friends in a car accident, and a guardian to their child.

They are both at different stages of their lives, but drawn together.

Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Thank you to NetGalley, Juanita Kees and Tule Publishing for an Arc of fast lane. When I saw this book I didn't realize it was the second in a series. I will definitely have to check out the first one. This book had the perfect romance with some car racing action thrown in. I loved the chemistry between Trinity and Reece.
Trinity is famous on the race circuit but she's tired of all the attention and her and her sister move back home to small town Montana to help her dad with the family business of car customs. Racing is in her blood and she can't stay away for long and starts racing on the drag strips outside of town. Reece moves to town to escape all the horrors he has seen especially with accidents involving people going fast. Then he learns about the drag strip races. He worries about Trinity and doesn't like her racing but he's also falling for her.
I loved this book it was a sweet romance but also had some action. It was definitely a fun romance and racing read and I will be reading the first book in the series next.
