One hell of a party!!!

Eleanor is having a party to celebrate her 25th birthday, and her three ‘friends’, Sarah, Avery and Kaitlyn all end up having very different experiences and it is a night none of them will forget in a hurry, and everything changes. A night of revelations, exes, new experiences, the past and new friendships means that all four of them end up with a night they will never forget.

The story is split into three sections, giving insight into the antics of the night from Sarah’s, Avery’s and Kaitlyn’s point of view, following their actions and how their night unfolded. These are then all very cleverly linked together under the premises of the main story being the fun and frolics of Eleanor’s birthday party. It was very cleverly put together and a lot of fun to read. I got so much more than I had expected from this book, and one or more surprises along the way that just added to the thrill of the read.

It was erotic, sensual, sexy and fun, and quite the experience. A lot was learnt about each of the characters whilst their night played out and many feelings and emotions were evoked between them. There were amazing scenes in this book, very hot, very passionate and all the characters had fantastic interactions. There was some drama along the way, just to add to the fun, and the story was built up in such a way that I think there will hopefully be more to come from these ladies in future.

A great read if you want fun, flirty, and a little erotica in an easy story that allows you to really experience the fun being had and the feelings of the characters. You will be able to connect with them on some level, as the things they have been through, or are going through are relatable. Addictive, and a lot of fun so I struggled to put the book down. I really felt like I could have been there at the party and was one of the ladies. Highly recommend this book for a fun read.

This story unfortunately just didn’t work for me. I didn’t love the characters and felt that I had misunderstood what the book was about via the blurb which is completely my own fault. Great writing though and definitely an interesting story with a lot of lovely romance and enjoyable moments but just not a favourite.

This book is just not for a reader like me. Little to no plot or character development with immature characters in an anthology format.

The spice was not there for me; again, rather immature and forced.

This was a DNF for me at about 50%.

An honest review thanks to NetGalley. This book takes us on the adventures 3 fiends have at a party. From each of the three friends point of view and each of the love interest and their adventures during the party. This was a quick steamy read, some of the girls stories better than the others.

I received this book from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.
I'm not sure how I felt about this book. It was a very interesting story. There were three friends attending a party, so you read the three different views on sex.

This was purely a cover request from NetGalley!! I was very intrigued by the three ladies on the cover to find that this story is about three lesbians. Sarah, Avery, and Kaitlyn are friends attending the birthday party of a rich girl from their childhood. Eleanor's birthday party turns into the setting of these three ladies finding, understanding, and reconnecting with lovers. The book is broken down by each lady's journey and each part gave all the emotions, sweetness, and smoking hot sexiness! I really enjoyed this book from the author and will be looking into reading more from this author.

This specific video review will be included in the August 2019 wrap-up.

Three lady friends looking for love but not admitting it out loud. The read is presented in three parts, one for each of the ladies. I enjoyed each of the stories and how different they were from each other. One common denominator was the humor and misunderstandings.

Sarah Donovan and the stranger. Avery Roberts and her friend's sister. Kaitlyn Forrester and her high school love. Steamy, hot sex as stated and promised in the dedication, did not disappoint. Perfect read for whenever you are in the mood for a steamy hot sex read.

Three friends who have known each other since high school are the main characters of this book. The entire book revolves around the day of a party that none of them really want to go to.

All three women are searching for something more. The party has some very steamy sex scenes and some happy endings (see what I did there?) All three women find something at the party. Is it sex? Love? Forgiveness? Read the book to find out.

There are a lot of characters in this book and at times I had to go back and reread something so I didn’t get confused. Overall a good book and a definite must if you are looking for something steamy.

If you're looking for a steamy read on a lonely night or a quick romance without fear of having separation anxiety once you've finished reading, then this is the book for you. This book lives up to its genre - hot, steamy, quick read. Plus there's a right amount of angst but you'll live with it. I even liked that part. Overall good read.

I was not a huge fan of this novel, I had a hard time connecting with the characters and would find myself having to read a page multiple times every so often because it lost my attention. A food thing about this novel though is that the character are written very well.

Party Of Three is Sandy Lowe's first book, and boy is it a good one.
The story revolves around three friends going to a party and the events that take place.
At first glance I didn't think this concept would work and would be all over the place, but I was totally wrong, the story has a good flow to it.

Sarah, Avery and Kaitlyn are great characters, all with different issues which will come out in the party.
The writing of this book is excellent and I must I found myself a little flushed at some of the moments., the scenes are hot, hot hot, but still maintains a good story.

Would I recommend...boy oh yes, Lookinf forward to more from this author

One night can change your life as friends Sarah, Avery, and Kaitlyn are about to find out. None of them are incredibly excited about the party but Sarah doesn't want to go at all. Her last SO left her with some pretty significant emotional scars, especially surrounding sex. What she needs is someone who can show her that her ex didn't' know what she was talking about.
Avery, on the other hand, is okay with going. But she's startled that the birthday girl's sister is back in town and all grown up. Can this best-friend's-sibling trope work out into an HEA?
Kaitlyn is also in for a surprise. The girl she loved in high school, the one who left, is not only back in town, she means to stay. And to fight for Kaitlyn.
All three stories are fine but none really popped for me. I like a story where I can connect to the characters and I just couldn't.

Three stars

This is the story of three friends who met while still in high school. One comes from old money, another has a rich father who gives his daughter anything she might want and then there is the third friend who doesn’t come from money or a rich daddy and has had to work for everything she wanted. The three have been able to hold their friendship together despite everything. They just do and always did get each other.
Sarah Donovan always loved to bake and studied hard, dreaming of someday having her own bakery. With the help of a fellow students father she was able to start her own business ‘Cake Walk’. But while everything was going great with her career she still couldn’t seem to get out from under all the baggage that was left after her last GF. She tries dating but nothing ever works out. But that didn’t mean she didn’t want to have sex again, she just wasn’t sure she could over come her fears.
Avery Anders also wants to find love but she still can’t get over the fact that she did the unthinkable. She kissed a friend's younger sister. Of all the kisses she had experienced in her short life, that kiss was what she dreamed about. When the young woman returns from a year abroad, Avery finds the idea of having a relationship with her as not such a bad idea, after all. Now all she has to do is make it happen.
Kaitlyn Forrester is a hopeless romantic who while still in highschool had found the love of her life but as happens with young love, when her GF breaks up with her, Kaitlyn can’t get over the loss. She does date but none of them make her forget her first love. Now her GF’s back, looking to make amends but they are both older, hopefully wiser so just picking up the pieces might not be that easy. Or will it.
This whole story revolves around the birthday party for yet another friend. Sarah doesn’t feel very friendly with the BD girl but when it's the father of the BD girl and who is also the person who helped financed her business asks her to attend she really has no choice.
Can’t say I really enjoyed this story but I must have because I kept picking it up just to find out what happens next. First book I’ve read by Ms Lowe and I can see myself reading her next. Enjoyable read.

This is an interesting concept for a book, but it works very well. Three friends are on their way to a birthday party for a very wealthy friend of theirs Elle, neither of the three is interested in going but they all feel an obligation to be there. One of the three who really doesn’t want to be there is Sarah who is a baker and is in partnership with the birthday girl’s father on her bakery. She was asked to bring a cake to the party and she uses the excuse of going into the kitchen to deliver the cake as a way to avoid the party. Little did she know that while there she would have an interaction with the chef, Ryan, who would change her life.

Avery doesn’t mind being at the party however her world gets turned upside down when she sees Spencer a woman two years younger than her who she had a passionate kiss with when they were teenagers. Avery has never been happy with the women she’s dated because she compares everyone to Spencer . When they begin to talk and reconnect passion for Spencer is intense but so does Elle’s passion of anger flare up. Elle is Spencer‘s older sister and who is also the birthday girl. She is furious that Avery would even talk to her sister Spencer . Is there any hope that Avery can continue a relationship with Spencer despite their obstacles?

And finally we come to Kaitlyn, who is trying to find a way to tell Elle that she should not marry Peter, who is about to propose to her tonight. The three friends come up with an idea that has additional side effects. In the process of figuring out how to come clean with Elle about her boyfriend, Kaitlyn meets up with Beck who was a former lover in high school, but she left Kaitlyn unexpectedly which left Kaitlyn heartbroken. Beck is back now and very much wants to reconnect with Kaitlyn and tries to explain the reason she left her and the reason she came back. Is Kaitlyn able to hear what Beck has to say?

I heat that this author brings to each of these three scenarios is off the charts hot. The sexual tension between these pairings is phenomenal and her description of what happens with the two of them is just absolutely perfect. Well done Sandy Lowe.

Three best friends, three stories find their love connection in very different ways at one party. This is an entertaining read perfect for a lazy afternoon or the beach. Enjoyable!

This book for me was completely satisfying in so many ways. I feel like it represented many different types of love in a positive way and that it was interesting and compelled me to remain hooked from the start to the very finish. The characters were real. The story was real. It was heartbreaking, exciting, romantic and everything in between. The sensuality that this book created was something out of a sexy fairytale. I will be reading more from this author. I enjoyed every minute of it. 5/5 Stars for an amazing piece of diverse literature.

When I read the dedication, “To all the readers who buy romance novels for the ‘good parts’. This one is for you”, I was under no illusion that this would contain quite a few ‘good parts’. Three friends are due at an extravagant birthday party each with their own misgivings. Sarah is a pastry chef who doesn't really want to be at the party at all. Birthday girl, Eleanor was never very nice to her so hiding in the kitchen seems like an option.

Avery and Eleanor are friends but with a complicated past. Kaitlyn doesn't let herself get too attached because she learnt firsthand how love ends up.

Three erotic stories told in first person by each of the main characters. There's loads of discussion around sex and intimacy, some of it emotional, some sensual and lots of it erotic. There is also quite a bit of humor in the exchanges. The party background and the connection between the friends give their individual stories good substance.

I enjoyed Sarah's story most, followed by Avery's. I didn't really connect with Kaitlyn as a character.

Book received from Netgalley and Bold Strokes Books for an honest review.

This is the first book I've read by this author. It's certainly well written and the characters were intriguing, If you're lookin for sex and not a deep romance, I would recommend it for you. It was something different than I normally read and recommend to my students though.

Awesome! The camaraderie between friends, the banter and the knowing each other well enough to tease continuously make this book a really fun read. Plus there’s lots of the promised ‘good bits’ (read the dedication) as in hot sex in hot scenarios. Given the public nature of most of these encounters the sex scenes could easily have been read as contrived, but they are so well written that they really work. Partly it’s the dialogue, but mainly it’s the quality of the writing that’s warm, sexy and surprisingly, given the encounters, sweet. Hot sex in all three parts of the book, manage to be raunchy but also full of love. It’s an odd juxtaposition that manages to make this book so romantic. Tying together the three parts so seamlessly was impressive as well. You can tell that whilst it might be her first book, this author has lesbian novels running through her blood stream. Write more Ms Lowe; you’re talented.
