Forbidden to Touch is the third book in the Billionaire Bachelor's, despite not reading the previous two books I do think you can read them as a stand-alone, I didn't feel that I had missed out on anything by not reading the other books but I will certainly look into reading them later.

I have to admit that the Mills and Boon/Harlequin Dare line has always been a little hit and miss with me, some have been a little too erotic for my liking, but this one was OK, it's steamy and incredibly hot but not so lurid I felt I needed to close the book, it has a good balance of sexy and sensual.

I liked the character's, they are beautiful, charming gorgeous and intelligent people - when I say people I actually mean Reid, who is mighty, mighty fine!!! With a very delectable bottom - who I do have a bit of a perversion for ;-) I liked how the romance between him and Blair isn't just sex, sex, sex there are some lovely moments between them - when they aren't having a bit of old rumpy-pumpy. I thought they developed really well as people and then as a couple.

The writing was very easy to read, the story flowed beautifully and the pacing was spot on for the story.
Overall, a great little black dress ripper with lots of heart.

This is the 3rd book in the Billionaire Bachelor series. It tells the story of Reid and Blair, over 13 Chapters (+Epilogue). The book jumps straight into the story and is full of those sexy moments that JC Harroway fans love. Now the sexy moments are not only found in those sexy scenes. Reid and Blair have the kind of interaction that is just as brilliant and sexy as the build up to the sexy scenes. Though readers beware you will be left wanting the rest of this series.

When I first started reading the book I worried that it was going to be one of those that have a lot of sex scenes just for the sake of it with no real storyline to get into. How wrong I was though. The more I read the more involved I got in the characters lives. By the end of the book, I felt as if I had read a really good story with just a bonus of the passionate sex scenes.

Reid Faulkner and Blair Cameron are the main characters. Blair has been employed as an interior designer by Reid's father to renovate their smallest, yet flagship hotel. The problem is that since she signed the contract Reid's father has become ill and has retired from the business, and Reid knows nothing about the contract.

Blair convinces Reid that she is up to the job, she also convinces him to have a no-strings sexual contract too. She has known him for years. When she was a teenager and he was 10 years her senior she never dreamed that she could even have a kiss from the man that she seriously fancied. Now, years later she is more than ready to have that kiss and much much more from him. He is happy to oblige.

They both come with baggage from their pasts which is why they are happy to have a no-strings relationship, but as their feelings begin to grow for each other will that baggage cause a permanent rift between them?

If you like your books sweet with any intimacy behind closed doors this definitely is not the book for you. Blair and Reid have a hot steamy sexual relationship where he acts out the fantasies she has admitted she used to have about him when she was younger. You might need a fan handy when reading this book! As I said though, this book isn't just sex, the story held me 'til the end and I was more than happy with the outcome.

Steamy, nope scorching ! The kind of read that grabs you and holds onto you. Great independent woman, alpha male, although leaning a little too much to the danger zone at times for me a touch , but mostly likeable. A great scorching read

I really enjoyed Forbidden to Touch. Despite it having been written in the first person narrative, which I tend to find a bit jarring, the story really gripped me and I was pulled right in. Blair and Reid are super hot together and I thought it was so sweet how concerned Reid was about his father. I loved how strong and independent Blair was and I love how that doesn't change throughout the story. Her independence does not prevent her from falling in love with Reid and she is willing to give herself to him.

There were a few things I didn't like. First person POV is perfect to show the different voices of the narrators, however, Reid and Blair sounded similar. In fact, I even questioned whether the book was written by a man, as I didn't find Blair's physical responses to Reid all that believable. I also didn't like Reid's violent reaction to Blair telling him that her ex cheated on her. Anger issues aren't hot at all, that was a big red flag for me.

All in all it was an enjoyable read.
