This was a perfect Christmas read. It is fine as a stand alone despite being the third book in the series. The characters draw you into the story and you are swept along with Lucy as the events of the story unfold. It is uplifting despite the fact that Lucy has to face some difficult challenges.

Lucy Riddock used to climb over the high garden wall and sneak into Kitty Cartwright’s wonderful garden. Her friends used to follow her and they would stuff their faces and pockets with berries. Lucy only visited the village of Burley Bridge for a few weeks a year to stay with her Great Uncle George and Great Aunt Babs. Lucy spent the rest of the year with her parents on the outskirts of Leeds. As the years wore on the thoughts of the village began to fade in Lucy’s mind apart from Rosemary cottage, that vision remained as vivid as it had ever been and sh he always held the fantasy that one day it would be hers. Fast forward 30years Lucy is now married to Ivan Scott and they have two beautiful children Marnie and Sam. Her career has taken a change of direction and she finds herself reminiscing about the past again.
A lovely read, the third instalments in the Rosemary Lane series. You don’t need to have read the previous read to enjoy this book.

Christmas books are always a fun read during the holiday times which this one was perfect during that time in December. The cover is adorable and has all the cozy feels as well! The story was super cute and could melt anyone's heart. There is a ton of love, strength, friendship in this book and thats what I look forward to in a cozy, touching book like this one. It will give you ALL of the emotions you could possibly think of. Well maybe not all of them but most of them that you would think.

A very easy read that moves at a quick pace. The story leaps in time quickly but doesn't lose its way. The story is about Lucy who has loved the cottage she moves into for years. She never imagined It would be hers. She lives a happy life until the death of her husband. How will she cope with the b and b and 2 small children? Life throws all manner of things at you and this story is how Lucy copes. A great read.

What a heart-touching story! Lucy’s life has to turned out at all like she hope it would, yet she kept going to do the very best she could for herself and her children. This book is perfect for any time of year when you want something light and sweet to read. This is my first book by this author, and I’m looking forward to reading more of her stories.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

An interesting story, full of twists and turns, with an outcome that I hadn't worked out.
As someone who loves their garden, I could identify with the feelings of being at peace and the garden description.
A book to curl up with on a grotty day

Perfect book for curling up on the sofa with on a Winter's day. Loved getting to know Lucy & her trials & tribulations. Running a B&B is something | have always wanted to try, so was interested to see how Lucy got on with her plan to do the same.

I hope I am not the only one who gets really excited about Christmas book covers, and when I spotted Snowdrops on Rosemary Lane by Ellen Berry I was captivated by the snow scene and wondered what adventures this lady walking under the umbrella was going to have.
Our heroine Lucy fell in love with Rosemary Cottage as a child and her dreams come true when she can finally own it and raise her family there. However as we all know life does not always go the way we hope it will and life for Lucy takes an unexpected turn. With all the things going on in her life things get tough and Lucy has to decide what is best for herself as well as her family.
A brilliantly written story of tragedy, love and hope. Ellen guides you through the story with excellent care and has you crying one minute but gushing with love the next. I loved Lucy and her determination and felt all the emotions she felt, her children are adorable and create some very funny moments.
This book for me screams a cosy winter read and I read this over the festive period. I have given Snowdrops on Rosemary Lane a three leaf rating as it left me with a warm fussy feeling after reading and the message that you should make every moment count.

Lucy Scott is married to Ivan and has two children. Lucy works for an online lingerie retailer. When she is offered a redundancy she buys a cottage that she remembered as a child in a small village where she used to spend holidays with her grandmother.
Lucy and her family move to the small village to set up a bed and breakfast business.
This was about families, friendships and life in a small village.

Warm and welcoming in these times. I loved everything about it; the characters, the setting, the story line itself. Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC!

I thoroughly enjoyed this really uplifting and heartwarming story. I instantly felt rapport with the characters and great empathy for the main ones. It was simply a delight to have this lovely and well written story to enjoy and I was sorry when I got to the end. Ellen Berry is a new author for me and I will definitely read her other books. I would also love to hear what happens to the characters in this one, I hope we find out one day.

It’s beginning to look like Christmas…. And that means one thing, time to get into the Christmas reads.

Although, if you’re not into super Christmasy reads the this is for you as the book spans several years and Christmas features occasionally.

This was quite an emotional read and I really connected with Lucy and wanted her to succeed. Not in finding love, but in adapting to the situation and ‘finding herself’.

This was a wonderful story that shows how powerful Childhood memories and one book that I cannot wait to read again.

Snowdrops on Rosemary Lane is a poignant but uplifting novel about what really matters in life — love, and those around us. Set in the village of Burley Bridge it follows Lucy, who has finally been able to buy her dream home, only for tragedy to soon follow. With her future and that of her children in question, can Lucy work through her emotions and more practical matters to make her B&B work?

Then there’s James, who is trying to cope with his father’s declining mental health and all that comes with such care, and whom Lucy remembers from her childhood. Over the course of the book — which cover several years and multiple seasons, not just Christmastime — we follow these two and a host of secondary characters as they navigate loss and grief, hope and redemption, dreams and possibilities, laughter and tears, and ultimately, love.

This is a sweet novel that is quite deep in its subject matter and not the fluffy Christmas romance I expected. It is heartfelt and the characters stay with you long after you finish the book. Recommended!

I received an e-ARC from the publisher, Avon Books UK, through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

A powerful, emotive read throughout. Im unsure why but I didn’t fully connect with the main character Lucy, her story is powerful but something was awry. An enjoyable book set in Rosemary Lane with the appearance of some old characters and the pleasure of meeting new characters. I feel the coziness of others books in the series was missing.

Thank you Netgalley
