This is the second book in the Wildflower House series (I do hope there will be a third book..) Kara Hart is recovering from so many losses – her mother, her husband and now her father. Despite her feelings of inadequacy, she discovers her strength and resiliency and compassion as she renovates the house she comes to think of as Wildflower House. As a wounded individual, she rises above it all to grow into the person she is meant to be.

Grace Greene is an artist and photographer, as well as a wonderful novelist, and it shows through her writing – I could SEE the house, the gardens, the creek, the carriage house. I would love to visit the Wildflower House but since it is a fictional location, I will have to be satisfied with re-reading both books in the series.

I received this book as an ARC through NetGalley for which I am grateful. The opinion is totally my own.

If there's ever a story that serves as a reminder that with time, love and good friends one can always find purpose in healing, then it's this one. You cannot help but own Kara's struggles, fears, insecurities and hopes as she renovates an old Victorian mansion whilst grieving her parents and husband.
Thanks Netgalley for the eARC, this is such a heartfelt read.

With her unique flair for depicting the Virginia countryside she loves, Grace Greene expands the story of Kara Hart’s journey to rebuild her life after a series of terrible losses. The remarkable cast of characters will delight, and the plot will keep the reader guessing about family ties and hidden dreams until the very end. If you are looking for an unforgettable tale about second chances and the true meaning of family, look no further than Wildflower Hope.

Wildflower Hope is the second book in author Grace Greene’s new Wildflower House series. This book picks up right where Wildflower Heart left off and also fills you in on the backstory. In this portion, Kara Hart suffers yet another loss, the sudden death of her father. When something like this happens after already suffering from so much pain and loss, most people would just give up, but due to Kara’s strength and resilience, she instead finds a reason for living. This is a story of forgiveness and learning to find your way after life’s many tragedies. I loved the setting, the descriptions of the big house as it went through renovation, and it’s surrounding property with all the gardens, sitting areas and running creek. And the characters were all wonderful people that I would love to have as neighbors. I’d like to thank NetGalley for allowing me to read this and express my opinion. I’m really looking forward to seeing where Kara Hart’s future is going to take her!

I started by re-reading Wildflower Heart ... because that's what good stories are for :)
Wildflower Hope was everything I expected it to be!
Life has not been kind to Kara but her resilience helps her overcome and flourish.
I really loved where her love life is going and I can hardly wait to read what happens next.
I truly wished this place was real. I'm no artist but I would love to spends a few days at the retreat she is creating (and maybe meet for real not only Kara but also Hannah, another beloved character from Grace's books).

Finding a purpose through the pain is what Kara must now do if she wants to have a fulfilled life.
After losing her father suddenly after already losing her mom and husband she is determined to find a renewed interest in her life and possibly a new romance.
She turns her home The Wildflower Hope into a creative retreat for artists and writers .
Can she open her heart and mind to find love?
Will life come full circle and will she uncover even more shocking truths about her father?
Wildflower Hope is on course to be the best book of the summer.

Wildflower Hope tells the story of a young woman’s journey through grief, finding forgiveness and peace in order to move on with her life. Kara’s vision for the house her father bought just before he died begin to come to fruition—as the house through its repairs and renovations, so does Kara’s heart. This is the second book in the Wildflower Hope series, and although the author does a great job providing readers back story, I encourage you to read the first book, Wildflower Heart before reading this novel.

Kara and her father had big plans for Wildflower House, the large Victorian house that he purchased in Virginia. When he died, she was unsure if she could go on with his plans so she plans to make the house into a artist's retreat. There's a lot of renovation that needs to be done and as the house takes on a new life, so does Kara. She realizes that she has friends all over the small town area and that she has friends in her past who are willing to regain their friendships. I really enjoyed reading about Wildflower House and Kara again and hope that we see them in future books - I'm not ready to say goodbye for good.

"Wildflowers are tough. They root in unlikely, often hostile environments, yet they manage to grow and bloom." This quote not only refers to flowers but also to people's lives. You can find happiness no matter where you are.

I read this book for Netgalley and because I enjoy reading books by Grace Greene.

Kara Hart suffered overwhelming heartache when she lost her mother and husband, and her father’s sudden death might be the blow that breaks her—unless she turns her grief into purpose. She’ll finish renovating his Victorian mansion in rural Virginia, but with her own twist. She’ll turn the old house into a creative retreat for artists and writers.

Kara has never tackled a project this big alone, and she’s not ready to open her heart to others for help. But the locals open their hearts to her—including two who have the potential to be more than friends. She tells herself she doesn’t need romance or distractions, but maybe that’s exactly what she needs. When her former best friend reenters Kara’s life, it could be the distraction that finally destroys her—or heals her.

The tragedies in Kara’s life have damaged her self-confidence, but she presses forward, gradually lowering her protective walls and allowing others in little by little. Will bringing Wildflower House back to life and freeing her own creative spirit also allow her to open her heart to hope and happiness—and maybe even love?

I really wished I had read the first book in this series, but there is an advantage to having read it as a stand-alone book and it can be read without having read the first.
I enjoyed meeting Kara and finding out the secrets from her families past. Kara is not a confidant person and starting new ventures has never been something she has done before.

Maddie sounds adorable! I truly felt for her. She so clearly needed love and security in her life after so many changes. Despite not having children of her own I saw Kara as a perfect parent figure for her.

There is a lot of emotion in this book, I enjoyed it and look forward to reading the first book and the third when it comes out.

I have read everything that Grace Greene has written, and with each book I've watched her writing skills grow. With this second book in The Wildflower House series, she has hit it out of the park.

If I were a writer I might be able to write a review to properly relate how wonderful this book is. The writing was lyrical and the characters were real. It all read as something that could happen to anyone at any given time.

It is a beautiful book about grief, friendship, family and love.

Buy the first one and read it, and then jump right on to this one. I promise you won't be disappointed.

“ No matter what, you endure. You get back up “
This is Kara , the owner of Wildflower house , a woman who has not had it easy. In this book, she is trying to get over the loss of her father and restart her own life. Kara has grown so much in this book. She needs to become her own person.

“When we get out of our own way, we naturally gravitate towards what we become “
When Kara can finally move forward, she may surprise herself!
I loved the first book in this series and I couldn’t wait for this book and Grace Greene did not disappoint!
I can’t wait to send what else life has in store for Kara !

I want to thank Grace Greene for the privilege of reading this ARC , and for allowing me to follow Kara in her journey !

"What the brain knows and what the heart hopes for are often different."

Wildflower Hope.....I have just experienced another emotional and heart tugging journey in the life of the main character, Kara Hart. Kara has had so many tragedies take place in her life that she's struggling to make sense of it all. What is the way forward in her life after the loss of so much?

I love the theme of wildflowers in this series. They are resilient and able to overcome difficult conditions. They grow where they are planted and bloom in spite of adverse conditions. "Wildflowers are tough. They root in unlikely, often hostile environments, yet they manage to grow and bloom." This is the beautiful analogy Ms. Greene uses to take the reader on the continued story of Kara. I was drawn into this continuation of Kara's uncertainties and what is ahead for her in the restoration of the Wildflower House.

Kara must deal with some hard choices in the battle to move forward. There is so much hurt in her life not only from the loss of her father, to betrayal, to a feeling of loneliness, to an addiction she wasn't sure she could overcome. She must choose where and how she wants her life to move forward. I felt the difficult and hard fight she was facing. She is like Wildflower House....she has some renovations to make in her life to put it back together. Things that need to be repaired, things that need to be taken out and things that are still a perfect part of her. This is a beautifully written book that took me through the renewal and sometimes painful hurdles that are part of Kara's life.

This is a story about finding hope, the ability to be able to forgive, and to find the strength to have confidence in her abilities and talents. There are wonderful characters in this book who support Kara in this search for her new purpose. They have wonderful advice and help guide her to make her own decisions and choices. They help her emotionally to be the person she's created to be. They help her to let go of the past and to see a future. They help her realize that she has value and a purpose. She has talent and abilities that are gifts to share with others. This book is an emotional journey. It is a message that through life's hard tumbles and struggles, there is HOPE!

I love the way Ms. Greene drew me into the settings. I was seeing the landscapes, the renovations of the house and the carriage house. The grottos and forests were places I was in and smelling the flowers and fresh air. I was a part of this story emotionally and physically in the pages. It was a powerful and touching read.

I want to thank Ms. Greene for the honor of reading this ARC of her book. I loved every part of it. I am so looking forward to continuing the rebuilding of Wildflower House and Kara's life that she has ahead in the next book. This is a five star plus excellent read!

Kara Hart is at a crossroads in her life—grieving the loss of her father, rehabbing a house for use as a creative retreat, hoping for love, and trying to move past a betrayal by her friend Victoria. Grace Greene does an artful job taking us along on Kara’s journey, weaving in moments of her life, both past and present. Fans of the first book in the series will love jumping back into the comforting world of Cub Creek, but new readers won’t have any problem picking up the threads of the story. Reading a novel by Grace Greene is like being wrapped in a blanket of love and healing and Wildflower Hope delivers on all counts. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful and charming book I enjoyed reading it so much that when the book came to its end I wanted to read it all over again immediately! It's a captivating book ... one that you won't be able to put down!
The story is beautiful and heartfelt... it's about forgiveness, second chances, and finding yourself again after loss and heartbreaks! I really enjoyed the way the author put a lot of detail into the story ... your can start to visualize how the author intended it to be seen and ... it feels like you stepped into the book and everything is just gorgeous!!!
The characters are fun and charming.. a small community (think mayberry and andy Griffith show) where everyone knows everyone and there's always someone willing to help out.. it makes you feel good inside .. you want to join them in their world so you can get to know them better, to have some fun and just hang out!!!!

The book really is fun and it's entertaining at times too! I love it and I DEFINITELY recommend it!

A beautifully written addition to the Wildflower series as Kara continues to find out who she is and work on her dreams coming true. Beautiful Virginia landscape, a wonderful old house being renovated, along with a carriage house, and new and old relationships to heal and explore, all make this wonderful story come alive. Wildflower House is definitely a place I would love to go and know the people in Karas life. Thanks to Netgalley and the Publisher for the ARC

This novel is a beautiful continuation of the rebirth of the Wildflower House and book two in the series.
Kara continues to see her dreams, steps forward and perseveres on the right path toward happiness.
Thanks to some genuine friends, she has begun to blossom, trust and love again.
I loved the characters, the descriptions of the house, flowers, gardens and all the little surprises along the way.
I was definitely engrossed in this book.
I felt like I was helping to take the wallpaper down and doing some landscaping too!

I will remember the lessons that are shared in this story. There are definitely many valuable examples and here is one:
""Maybe the biggest question wasn't about forgiveness itself but rather about who needed to forgive whom."

I cannot wait for the next part of Kara's and her Wildflower House Journey!
Excellent!!

Excellent sequel. Grace Greene has created a thoughtful novel of life filled with reflection, sadness, love and happiness. Sadness is a predominant theme, although love is abundant Does happiness override the sadness? One will have to read the book to find out. I wanted more from Wildflower Heart and that's what this story gives you. I still don't want the sequels to end.
