How-to guides for setting up your machine are detailed and well-illustrated (setting the "tension" is especially well done). There are even instructions for several "starter" projects that are easy-to-follow! A useful reference item for any level of sewing fan!

Firstly tools and the basics of the machine are covered, including very clear instructions for the daunting task of threading ! It provides projects for simple clothes items and even shows you how to understand a pattern. Curtains are covered and this is one of the most common items that beginner sewers have a go at first. The book is straight to the point and expertly written. You will be filled with confidence and inspired to tackle the sewing machine once you have read it.
