I didn't like it at all ,I couldn't connect to the story nor to the characters. At the beginning I find it interesting but then I lost my interest and I couldn't keep up with the story!

If you are looking for a love triangle romance that just happens to be set after the zombie apocalypse, then you'll probably love this book. If you were looking for more zombie than love, stagger away now. I had to give up on this one.

Why? The main characters are pretty unlikable. If there are redeeming qualities, I couldn't find them. The MC is self flaggelating at every opportunity. One of the love interests is married to someone close to her and while she beats herself up for it, there's no character growth that I saw.

The author does have a pleasant writing style and the dialogue is decent. While it does need more editing, there's potential here.

This book was hit and miss for me. Some bits were great but other bits, such as a typical love triangle and an unlikeable main character, really bothered me!

This book was amazing! I thought I was going to read a book about how hard it is to find a good man after the zombie apocalypse, how all that was left were either nerdy mamas boys who were good at hiding or alpha assholes and I would've been fine with that. This book however blew that concept away!! To say I read a lot of romance and or zombie books would be a gross understatment , so for a book to really surprise me, to draw me in hard is a monumental task that this book did easily. The characters were well developed and engaging- I really wanted to know what was going to happen to them. The story had plot twists that caught me off guard and kept me reading intently. There was action and adventure and general badassery that came to a satisfying conclusion that also left a window open for a sequel in my opinion. I would recommend this book to a wide variety of readers.

First up a big thank you for letting me try out this book. Sadly, I am giving up on this book.

This for various reasons:
-The love triangle (2 guys are vying for Miranda's heart). This is something I absolutely dislike in books and has made me drop several books, and now this one as well.
-The fact that this book felt like I missed something, like instead of this book being the first one or a standalone it was actually book 3 or 4. For instance the Connor stuff? It felt like I should already know these characters and their background, but we don't. And then there are other instances that made me wonder if I missed something, causing me to scroll back through my copy to see if I overlooked something.
-I wasn't a big fan of Miranda. And it definitely didn't get better when she only went out with one gun and no other weapons to save those kids. Guns can block. You should know that this can happen.
-I just found it highly weird that no one told Miranda about Connor. :|

But I did love the first chapter, and there was potential for the rest of the story. Also zombies! A vaccine! Sadly, it just wasn't meant to be.

I loved this, a really enjoyable fast paced read full of lots of twists, action, romance and drama. There’s a love triangle but I good with that they don’t bother me the way they do some people, the characters are three dimensional and relatable, the writing is good and it’s an addictive read. Zombies and romance, what more do you want

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion

This book was so confusing, in a good way. It had lots of twists and turns, The characters had me second guessing what I thought was going to happen. It was very interesting and exciting. Can’t wait to read the next book.

“A.M. wrote an outstanding book. If you are a great fan of horror stories and post-apocalypse moments, this book it’s definitely for you. Awe, drama, action and hope with the perfect mix of romance. And of course, lots of zombies.

Love in an undead age it’s a story set in a post-apocalypse world. Society collapsed for the zombie attack and are struggling to hold. One thing they are still holding up its, hope and faith. Yes, religion had a major impact in the plot. The story showed the value and allureness of religion but also it showed the dust and shades behind it. With an elite controlling the only cure that exists, you’ll be dragged by this addictive story.

The author writing skills amazed me. The way she addressed the issue of love was extraordinary. We have a love triangle but the characters were so pure and authentic, with such a grow up personality.

I faced a challenge with this book, reading it was complicated for me. Zombies and I aren’t close, they scare me too much. A plot with possible scenes of zombies chasing people, I was terrified but surprisingly the plot was unexpected, a whole new different side, it engaged me chapter after chapter.

Prepare yourself for a rollercoaster of emotions, a story packed with all the feel. I highly recommend it.”

Mostly predictable and lame but the zombie parts were really really good. I couldn't get over the whole team Edward team Jacob thing droning on. Also I don't know if it was because I'm reading an ARC copy but a lot of grammer was off and it kind of felt like watching a movie with bad subtitles.

I'm going to say it again, the zombie parts make the book. Maybe more zombies less Twilight next time around.

Thank you Netgalley for the ARC

Zombies and romance, what else could you ask for?

The Zombie Apocalypse is here. It is a disease. You can easily catch it. But people learned to live in this age of zombies. But life is hard. Love life is even harder. Just ask Miranda. She lives is San Jose, California which is one of the last outposts of humanity, it is a heavily secured place controlled by the City Council and its leader, Mario Santorello. The nearby Santa Clara University’s community is lead by Jesuit priest. The Council has a monopoly on the vaccine for the zombie virus but the priest have a plan to change that. And when Miranda is recruited by the priests to help them she realizes her life just became even more complicated. She has to survive and figure out where her heart lies.

I really really loved this story. It held my attention during the whole story and the romance line was the icing on the cake. It was weird but good weird somehow to watch Miranda struggle with her feelings for someone else when she has to run from zombies, fight them, kill them...but this was what just made the story feel more real.

I liked Miranda instantly. She is one tough chick and she has a mouth on her that gets her in all kinds of troubles.

Her love interest is Connor. He used to be her boyfriend but left her to become a priest. Now, years later he is back. And for some reason he thinks he can get Miranda back. And he is doing his best to make that happen. I didn’t particulary like him, he just felt way too confident in himself.
Mario on the other hand, now he is interesting. They have history together, Miranda and him. What they had/have is just way more intriguing than her and Connor’s past.

I hope there will be more books because the ending was not an ending.

Thank you to the publisher, A.M. Geever and NetGalley for my copy.

Love in an Undead Age is a post-apocalyptic romance inside of an adventure.
What would you do in order to survive? How much can you take? Can love really conquer all?
I can’t imagine what going through the end of the world would be like, let alone zombies. All the while thinking you are without your loved ones. To have someone you loved deeply come back after so much time has passed? Just like the main character, it would be an emotional overload.
You know what always survives no matter what? Corruption. Politics. Even in the post-apocalyptic world, corruption and politics rule the world.
I really enjoyed this story from beginning to end. There wasn’t much of a lull as you transition into the separate storylines. It kept me on my toes wondering what was going to happen. Surprisingly, I really liked the love story angle this took on during all the fighting and death and zombies. It was refreshing. I don’t normally think to mix zombie apocalypse and romance together.

This was a pretty interesting read. It's the aftermath of an "outbreak", and people have resumed as normal of a life as they can (I suppose like TWD). Miranda is the main character, and she's likeable along her journey. I haven't actually read something in this type of genre before, only watched shows, but it was good, and it held my interest.

I’m generally not a fan of horror-themed books, but AM Geever had enough going on in this book to capture my interest and keep me reading. Love in an Undead Age is entertaining and Geever paints scenes well. A great reading experience.
