This was an absolutely delightful series of comics. The humor is something both children and their parents can appreciate and I am not at all embarrassed to admit that there were a few that had be laughing out loud. I was a big fan of Calvin & Hobbes growing up and I agree that what Will Henry has created with the Snug Harbor stories brings the same humor, childish imagination, and camaraderie that made me love Calvin & Hobbes so much. I will definitely be going back to read Wallace the Brave.

I highly recommend this book to teachers, librarians, and parents. I am a big supporter of the use of comics in the classroom and I think young readers would love to see what is going on with Wallace and his friends.

I have never read Snug Harbor and Wallace is hilarious. I really enjoyed this graphic novel collection about him and his family and friends. The collection is set up like the comic strips and so they are short and simple reads, and you can pick it up and put it down easily in between theses sections.

Like I mentioned Wallace is very funny, my favorite story was when he gets his head stick in a Jack-O-lantern and his dad has no idea how to get him out. This is just one example of the funny things that occur throughout the book, but it is also so down to earth and easy to picture these funny things actually happening.

I think adults without kids would enjoy this, I also think parents and their kids will enjoy this as a read.

I really like it. Got Sunday funny pages feel. Cute stories about a few children that live around a fishing harbor.

ARC Copy...I would describe as a slice of life type of narrative and thank goodness i didn't have to read the first volume to understand the "flow". I found it hilarious that yes it's about ordinary kids...who are prone to wacky behavior and circumstances yet provide a great guide to growing your own plant!

I have never read this comic before, and I didn't quite get it's humor, but for kids needing a good comic strip without any ''bad stuff'' this one would be a good pick.

Another clever, inventive story from Will Henry. This is a book I would gladly have shared in my middle school classroom, but would recommend it for readers even younger (not to mention adult readers).

Will Henry’s work is fun, attractive, and well done.
