I enjoyed this book. I liked how there was a whole cast of secondary characters and how friendship and taking care of others was a main part of this story. Jenny moves to an old family cottage of the grandmother she never met to get her life back on track both personally and professionally. The neighbor is a curmudgeonly, but handsome "hermit". It was nice to see Mack and Jenny's dislike grow to friendship and then more over the course of this book. Overall, a good read about taking chances, starting over, family and friendship.

A great read, the story of Jenny and Mack.

Jenny has just moved to a delapidated cottage in Sherwood Forest, escaping her life in Scotland after everything has gone wrong. Things with new neighbour Mack don't get off to the best of starts, but soon Jenny has new friends in the village and is settling in to her new life.

The attraction between her and Mack is there, but she second guesses it, especaially after being hurt before and then finding out Mack is married. What will the future hold for Jenny?

Despite the title of the book, it is not to overly christmassy.

Great characters in a great setting. Looking forward to more from this author.

Great book. Jenny finds out her secret boyfriend was dating her sister Zara and they become engaged at a work Christmas party. Jenny then moves into a house her mother inherited from her mother. Jenny finds the house in shambles and her grandmother was a hoarder. She sets out to clean up the house and then meets mack when she cant get near the front door because of the weeds. if you want to read more read the book.

This is a cute, feel-good romance for the holiday season. The journey is interesting most of the time, but there are times when the story drags quite a bit. You definitely root for the underdogs here...
