Dating the Cowboy by Ann B. Harrison is book 3 in "The Hansen Brothers" series.
I love the fictional town of Marietta, set in Montana but it´s a cute, small town with a library, chocolate shop, book store, brewery etc and now it will also have it´s own dating service.
Because Crease Hansen is home from college and looking to start up his own dating service in Marietta with his best friend Alice. I for one loved how the story between these two evolved. Such a lovely read.

Crease Hansen is home from college and looking to start up his own dating service in Marietta with his best friend Alice. Everyone assumes they’re a couple because of the easy-going banter they share and the way they mercilessly tease each other. Rather than tell everyone the truth, they go along with it because it looks good for business: The matchmakers who matched themselves. Alice Winter is only looking to hone her data mining skills, as a stepping stone to a career in the tech industry, so why not join her friend in a start-up? After a magazine gets wind of their supposed matchmaking skills and wants to interview them, they realize they can’t turn down the free advertising. But are they getting in too deep? When Alice finally gets the interview she’s been dreaming of, the chance to fulfill her professional goals in Seattle is within her grasp. So why does she feel as though her world is crashing down around her?
This was a decent read. I’m not familiar with the author so this was my introduction to this town and the author’s writing. I liked both Crease and Alice. I found I did like the story flow. It did peeve me a little with the fact that these two ran a dating service together for so long and it didn’t occur to them they might be in love. Those kinds of plots drive me a little nuts.

Loved this book. Great characters, easy read, uplifting, funny, romantic and charming. A really nice story that is the perfect escapist read.

Crease is a non-Cowboy sort of cowboy and has become a relationship expert. With his computer whiz bestie Alice in tow, he returns to his hometown of Marietta to start a dating business. Even in a tiny Montana town, their unique formula takes off - fueled in part by people believing Crease and Alice are a couple. The false front isn’t so false though neither realizes the true depths of the other’s feelings. Missteps and misunderstandings and Crease’s desire for Alice to get her “dream” job throw up many obstacles to the final realization that they belong together - for real.

I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This was a cute friend’s to Lovers story that takes place in one of my favorite places, Marietta Montana. This was a cute idea to add a dating service business to Marietta. This book is about Crease Hansen who has returned home to Marietta with his best friend from college, Alice Winter. The two decide to pretend to have a dating relationship in light of their match making company to drum up business. It becomes clear to everyone that the two have real feelings for each other yet they think they are pretending. The job offer she has to decide what it is she really wants and fess up as to how she really feels about Crease. It was a good read.

Another great romance by Ann B. Harrison, this is book 3 in the “Hansen Brothers Series”. This is Crease and Alice’s story. They faked a romance or did they to make their business work.

Best friends or possible lovers? It’s a dilemma for Alice and Crease. This is a cute novel of finding true love but botching it up along the way.

An okay story but just didn’t hit home with me, lacked chemistry, wasn’t keen on the characters and the story was just so so.

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion

Dating the Cowboy is the third book in Ann B Harrison’s The Hansen Brothers series. Set in Marietta, Montana this is a sweet small town contemporary romance. Despite being part of a series the story works just fine by itself.
This is a best friends to lovers story and my goodness, given that Crease Hansen and Alice Winters are running a dating business you’d think they’d each recognise the fact that they were in love with each other. I love the sensible advice Crease passes out to his clients though I really wanted him to take some of that advice himself.
I liked Crease and Alice. I liked their work ethic and the way they cherished each other even when they weren’t aware that their feelings were reciprocated. This story was lovely to read. It made me smile and ultimately that’s what romance novels are all about.

I am an avid reader of books that are set in Marietta Montana. I have also read a few books by this author before.

My overall opinion was that it was an okay story. I don’t understand how Crease and Alice are supposed to have a dating service, yet they are the worst followers of their own lessons. The angst that went on in the minds of the characters could’ve been handled in an open and honest dialogue between them.

Welcome home to Marietta, MT. This third book of Hansen Brothers series. Alice and Crease are starting a datting service in his home town of Marietta.
They decide to pretend to be a couple but although each would like to make it real they are afraid of ruining the pact they made and the plans Alice has. Can they overcome this and find Love? It was fun catching up with the brothers and their wives from the earlier books in the series also. This was a very enjoyable read and I would defiantly recommend it. I received an advanced reader’s copy of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.

Once I got into this story I really enjoyed it. Alice Winter was a very smart woman who loved to work with numbers and analyze data. Too bad she is not as smart when it comes to her love life.

Her coworker in their Sting Attached dating service is Crease Hansen aka The Love Doctor, as he has been dubbed. He appears as an outgoing guy so sure of himself on the outside but inside he is that same guy who Alice would not go out with in college.

I enjoyed their banter and there scheme to pretend they were a couple to help promote their business. It was fun to see whether they would just stay friends or risk their friendship for something better. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

Dating the Cowboy is the cutest of the Hansen Brothers stories by Ann B. Harrison. I love the fictional town of Marietta, Wyoming but never in a million years would have expected a dating service to locate there. Also I would never have expected on of the Hansen boys to be the creator and owner of such a business. We have been hearing about these boys since they were young and wild but all have grown up to be stable and productive citizens of the town.

More than once Crease Hansen mentioned that he is a fake. Believe me, he is anything but that. A country boy at heart, yes but mostly he is a confused man in love who is also running the match making service. Still he is great at what he does as long as his best friend is by his side. Alice Winters is the best friend who also has to find her place in the world. Early on it is easy for the reader to agree with Crease’s family and community. Crease and Alice work best together. Fun story that is a stand-alone but all the Hansen guys’ stories are worth the time to read.

Review I received an advanced reader’s copy of this book from the author through NetGalley for my honest review of this third book of Hansen Brothers series.
The best part was being back in Marietta and catching up with the brothers and their wives from the earlier books in the series as you get to watch Alice and Crease start up a dating service in Marietta .
An enjoyable read with some angst as the couple want to make there relationship real.

Crease and Alice are best friends. They come to Marietta to start a dating service. Crease and Alice have this easy way between them and it is not long before everyone thinks that they are a couple. What do they do? They fake it! Sometimes while faking something you come to realize that perhaps what you thought you felt was so much bigger then you thought it was. This was such a great read. It had a sweet romantic story with some drama and a little misunderstandings throw in. Honestly what more could you want in a romance book. Thanks Net Galley. What happens when best friends begin to pretend to have “the love of a lifetime” in order to launch a new dating service in Marietta? Hmmm… probably not what they expected at all, not when pretend turns into real – and hard choices have to be made.

Crease and Alice didn’t start off with the fake relationship, no, they were best friends and she was just in town long enough to help launch his new venture and fine-tune some of her own skills. But soon the town of Marietta saw them together all the time, laughing, joking, teasing, smiling, and hugging – so what was a town famous for romance to think but that another Hansen brother had found his match. The truth was they were friends who now had to decide to use their fake relationship to gain publicity for Crease’s dating service, or come clean and confess. Two guesses as to which one they picked.

DATING THE COWBOY is a fun romance, full of bantering, growing affection and the beginning of seeing someone you already love as a best friend in a whole new light. Alice has a tough choice to make as she grows closer to Crease and begins to feel at home in his town and his arms. Stay and let the love she’s feeling for this man take flight? Or leave and follow a dream that now seems a bit hollow? Watching this couple go beyond the “friend zone” into true love was emotional and full of chemistry that was always there between them. I had a blast with DATING THE COWBOY, heck, with the entire series and would recommend this one to any romance reader who loves a happy ever after, likable characters, and a couple who are right for each other if they’d only open their eyes.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

DATING THE COWBOY releases on August 14, 2019.

Dating the Cowboy is the third book in Ann B. Harrison’s Hansen Brothers series and is Crease Hansen and Alice Winter’s story. While I have thoroughly enjoyed this series, Dating the Cowboy is probably my least favourite so far. The storyline was good and the character development believable, but there tended to be too much description at times, and this diminished the natural flow of the story and became distracting. I would still recommend this book, as the Hansen Brothers is an enjoyable series.

I read this not knowing it was part of a series. Even so, I thoroughly enjoyed it and cannot wait to read the others. I love the best friend turn more stories, and Crease and Alice were no exception. Everyone who loves a good romance should read this book!

I thought that the story was good and the characters worked well together.

The author had a lovely writing style but I will say that I did think that there was a little too much detail for me in places and I tended to skip through some of those sections towards the end of the book, just so that I could find out how the book was wrapped up and what the actual ending was...

Sometimes less detail is more in this kind of book and I do think this affected my enjoyment of the book as it stopped the natural good flow that the author had build up until this point and dropped it down from a 5 star read to a 4 star read for me.

It is 4 stars from me for this one - highly recommended and would have been a 5 stars read if the above had been sorted out as sometime for me less detail is more if it impacts the good flow a story has
