I love reading Non fiction books and this looks set to become a popular series with children and schools studying The Water cycle and other popular topics and science units.

It is a clear and concise way to look at The Water Cycle, rain, clouds and rivers. There is so much to see and learn from this book.
I love the idea of children becoming Geo-Detectives and finding the answers to questions by doing activities and experiments. There are plenty of those to keep them busy and a great way to extend their learning.
I like the characters in the book- it makes it feel more like you are joining them on an adventure rather than learning about a specific thing. That will appeal to many children.

This book stands out from other Water Cycle books as you feel a part of the journey and story rather than reading facts in a specific order. The illustrations are excellent as well.

This book was educational and age appropriate it doesn’t bombard you with very big words so it’s a good learning tool for younger kids. The illustrations are bright and pop out. The activities are all related to what is being talked about and the tools are mostly Readily available in most households.

This is embarassing but I've never been great at science. OF ANY TYPE. I swear I still get flashbacks of Earth Science...How I ever managed to get passing grades in that class I don't know. I read this with my daughter Juliet and was happy and pleased with how much she enjoyed it! She is the exact opposite of me, a science buff already at the tender age of 7 and I knew that this would be an awesome book for her to pick over.

We both learned a lot and enjoyed the illustrations. I love the fact that this book also includes activities you can do if you choose to to interact more with nature. It's sweet, cute, and to the point and the perfect book to learn about water cycles whether you be a 2nd grader or a nearly 30 year old like me.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for my fair and honest review. All opinions are my own.
