I love Jeannie Moon books. Her stories are heartwarming and easy to read. Same with "All Of Me". A good story line, wonderful characters and an engaging narration makes this a lovable story to read

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. Lilly is returning home after a successful career in Hollywood and no one knows why. Unfortunately, the reason follows her home and creates many issues. This book was okay but very predictable.

All of Me is the third book in the Compass Cove series. It can be read as a stand alone book, but I recommend reading the entire series to fully characters. The characters are very charming and will have you hoping for a HEA. I have read several books written by Jeannie Moon and loved them all.

All Of Me is the third book in author Jeannie Moon’s Compass Cove series and just like the first two it has a heavy emphasis on the importance of family and friends. I love the setting in the small Long Island village of Compass Cove. This is a part of the world that Jeannie Moon clearly knows well and she brings the setting to life effortlessly.
Lily Vasquez has returned to Compass Cove and set up a heir salon and day spa business there after getting out of an abusive relationship in California. She’s mentally scarred but puts on a brave and friendly face to her family and friends until Gio Graham, the movie star who abused her, comes to town to film his latest movie.
Enter FBI agent Jack Miller, also from a Compass Cove family and Lilly’s high school crush. Assigned to protect Lilly, Jack quickly discovers that Gio Graham is not the charming man he appears to be outwardly. He also discovers that the strong attraction he and Lilly shared when they were younger is just as strong now.
This is a heartwarming friends to lovers story highlighting the struggle Lilly has to learn to trust and to see herself as the strong woman she once was rather than the victim Graham made her. There are so many core values that shine through in this story, from the support of those who love you in times of need to the genuine friendship between Lilly’s and Jack’s grandmothers despite one having worked for years as chef to the other for years. I always love reading Jeannie Moon’s books and this one is definitely one I’ll look forward to reading again.

Jeannie Moon knows how to write heartwarming romances and I love everything she writes. This is second chance at love story with a hot alpha FBI agent and a strong independent woman.

Compass Cove is a small town where Lily and Jack both spent their childhoods. Growing up, Lily had a crush on Jack but he never seemed to notice her. Years later, Lily decides to return to Compass Cove to get away from an abusive ex. Lily is happy with her new life in Compass Cove and she now owns a successful hair salon. Unfortunately, her world is shaken when she learns her ex will be coming to town to film his latest movie. Lily worries about running into him because she doesn’t trust him and no one believed her accusations against him.

Jack and Lily are thrown together again when Jack, a former military man and now an FBI agent, is assigned to Lily’s case. Jack has always secretly had a crush on Lily. Years ago, she was too young and she was also his best friends little sister, so he had to keep away from her. Now, there is nothing to keep them apart.

I enjoyed all the characters living in Compass Cove, especially Jack and Lily. Jack and Lily have a wonderful group of friends and after living away from Compass Cove, they realize how much they missed the people and the town. I enjoyed this sweet small town romance.

This is book #3 of the Compass Cove series, I was given an ARC from the publisher through NetGalley in return for my review.
Lilly and Jack get a second chance at romance but will it lead to a HEA?
I can honestly say these characters had me rooting for them right from the start and the story line with Lily’s dangerous ex in town to shoot a movie kept me flipping the pages.
I would highly recommend this one to adult romance readers.

We first encountered a younger Lilly and Jack in the first story in this series, THEN CAME YOU. At that time my heart ached for Lilly since she was so certain that Jack was her special one, even if he was a bit older. His rejection hurt badly, and perhaps lead her to make different choices which backfired big time.

In the latest story in the Compass Cove series brings Lilly and Jack together once again, older, maybe wiser, and this time ready to let the attraction between them take control. Jack may try to stay professional, to keep his distance but he knows it’s a losing battle with himself. Lilly is in serious danger and he won’t let anything happen to the woman he’s come to love. My heart ached for the younger Lilly, I was ready to champion and defend the now older Lilly. She’s been through a lot, she’s changed some but in her heart, she still thinks Jack is her special one – even if she’s fighting that attraction that simply will not go away. Now in spite of her past making an unwanted appearance in Compas Cove, she’s falling for the man who she’s always loved but now sees on a different level. Maturity will do that, let us see what we ignored in our youth.

I enjoyed Jack and Lilly’s romance. Friends to lovers is a favorite trope for me, but seeing a young crush turn into real love with maturity and respect has to touch my emotions – for don’t we all wish some of those younger crushes of ours might have turned out differently? We get the chance to catch up with old friends and perhaps get a taste of what may soon come to Compas Cove. I had a blast with ALL OF ME, and if you enjoy a good romance, believable characters, a bit of mystery and two people finally discovering that happy ever after does exist, then you’ll want to pick this one up. I’d not hesitate to recommend ALL OF ME or any of the stories in this series.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

Great read. Touched on some dark topics in a gentle but thorough way with all the emotions involved in the things Lilly went through. It’s inspiring and hopeful warming your heart. Compass Cove is a delightful town that you fall in love with.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Tule Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I am unsure about this book. I liked the characters Lilly and Jack. I guess I would not have handled things like Lilly. But again I'm not sure. There seemed to be some gaps in time. One minute she's hugging her mom the next she's at a wedding? Did I miss something? Felt like that a couple of times. Ok but not my favorite. 3 stars

All of Me is part of the amazing small town series of Compass Cove by Jeannie Moon I love the legend of the compass, the small town and the people who live there. This is an excellent addition to the series but beware it does have some serious issues at the heart of it. Lilly Vasquez returned home and start her own salon a year old as the story begins. No one knows why she left a successful business and glamour of LA. Right there I knew something bad had happened. I don’t think what happened bothered me as much as the fact that one FBI agent didn’t believe her but said she might be a crazy woman. Thank good for FBI Special Agent Jack Miller who knew better even when the statement was made to him.

This second chance story has heart, a survivor who has become stronger and more compassionate, and a man who falls helpless in love with her. It also has a villain, one of the worst because he believes he can do no wrong. I can say that this is a page-turner, which makes it so much more than just a small-town romance. Compelling read that feels totally believable.

An ARC of the book was given to me by the publisher through Net Galley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

All of Me by Jeannie Moon
Compass Cover #3

Compass Cove has a shop with a precious historical compass that legend says will point to your true soul mate. It is a wonderful small town community where more than one couple in the series has proved the infallibility of the compass. In this book we find that once again the compass will do its job for Jack Miller and Lilly Vasquez.

Jack and Lilly have known one another for years. They spent time together as children and though Jack is older than Lilly they have always been aware of one another. When at eighteen Lilly tried to tell Jack how much she cared for him...he was not ready. Fourteen years later they are given a second chance to be together in the weeks leading up to the wedding of Jack’s brother and the woman he fell for in the delightful first book of this series, Then You Came.

Lilly, hairdresser to Hollywood stars, returned home after a rough relationship. She just wanted to get away. When the man she had trouble with comes to Compass Cover to make a movie she is on edge. When Jack’s FBI boss gives him a case to follow up on while he is home and he realizes Lilly may be at risk he is more than willing to put his all into keeping Lilly safe and solving the case. We find out that Lilly has a lot to work through and there is nobody better able to help her than Jack.

Returning to Compass Cover was a delight. I enjoyed seeing the couples from the previous two books AND finding out that perhaps Jack’s brother Doug and one of Lilly’s friends may end up together in a future book. I also enjoyed seeing other people in town interacting and LOVED the relationship that developed between Lilly and Jack. Jack was definitely one FINE man and even though it took him a long to realize Lilly was the woman for him...reading how that came about was a treat to read today.

4.5 Stars!

Author Jeannie Moon has another winner with her latest release, All of Me. This is the third book from the Compass Cove series and it can be enjoyed as a standalone. This is a wonderful group of books that you should definitely add to your TBR list.

Lilly Vasquez loved being a Hollywood hairstylist. She was well-liked and her talent was recognized by the big filmmakers. Her romantic relationship with a major movie star was all over tabloids, and she felt everything was perfect, until it all went horribly wrong. Lilly moved back home to Compass Cove, a small coastal town on Long Island. Opening her own salon while being near her family and friends brought a slice of peace back into her life. Then her teenage crush, FBI agent Jack Miller, roars back into her life, and helps her cope with the past. The kiss they shared 15 years ago seems like it was just yesterday.

Jack is a workaholic and has witnessed many horrors as a public servant. He plans on being in town for only a short time to attend his brother's wedding. Then he runs into Lilly, and she turns his life upside down. Jack has read Lilly's file and knows that her ex was a complete sociopath. As a result, he sticks to her like glue. Their time together rekindles old feelings and evolves into much more.

All of Me is a quick-paced read with well-defined and interesting characters. I loved the way Ms. Moon evolved Lilly and Jack's relationship, with discovery, understanding, and tons of heat. Their respective grandmothers add a lot of fun to the seriousness of the plot. If you are looking for a contemporary romance with some surprising moments, an engaging plot, and a happily ever after that will leave a smile on your face, get yourself a copy of this book.

All of Me (Compass Cove Book 3)by Jeannie Moon
There's no place like home, and no love like his...
Lilly Vasquez has returned home to Compass Cove after making her way in Hollywood as a hair stylist to the stars. With such a successful career, why she moved back to Long Island to open her own salon is a mystery, and Lilly's not talking. That is until a movie shoot nearby drops the trouble she thought she left in California right into her backyard.
FBI Special Agent Jack Miller has floated in and out of Compass Cove for the last fifteen years, rarely staying in town for more than a few days because he’s so wrapped up in his work. But when a complaint about a potentially dangerous situation in town lands in his lap, Jack is gobsmacked to see the name of the woman who has occupied his thoughts for more years than he can remember, Lilly Vasquez.
With the excitement of a big family wedding, Jack has an excuse to stick close, but Lilly doesn’t appreciate the attention, especially since it stirs up a bee's nest of long-buried feelings. Likewise, Jack is dealing with his own attraction to the fiery brunette, and it’s making him crazy. He needs to stay objective to keep Lilly safe, but his heart isn't listening to reason. Will the long-time friends succumb to the small town magic and take the biggest risk of their lives? Or will they play it safe, and miss their happily ever after?
This is Lilly Vasquez and Jack Miller's story.
As days went, this one needed a complete do-over.
As Lilly Vasquez made her way through her salon, closing up for the night, she wondered what had made her think she could run her own business. Today had brought her a vendor that failed to send her order, a very unhappy customer—who was angry the stylist actually cut her hair short, when that’s what she’d asked for—and her top colorist quit to take a position in a big salon in New York.
The woman was superbly talented and deserved every opportunity, but Lilly wished she could tell her colorist the glamour she was looking for in the fancy salon in the big city wasn’t all it was cracked up to be.
“Don’t be angry. You’re a great girl, Lilly, but you don’t want me.”
Now he was telling her what she did and didn’t want. God, she wanted to tell him where to put his know-it-all attitude. He’d put himself between her and the door, intent on getting her to agree with him before he’d let her go.
“Jack, I’m leaving.”

Lilly and Jack were fated since the beginning of time.... not really, but you get the idea. In fact, she even told him when she was 18. Too bad he brushed it off. Years later and they are both back in town. Both still thinking about each other. Good thing they have to help Mia and Adam with plans for there wedding.

This is book 3 in the series, but you will have no issues on reading it on its own. You do see characters from the previous stories though.
I overall really enjoyed this one.

WOW!! I loved, loved, loved revisiting Compass Cove with Lilly and Jack in All of You by Jeannie Moon, book three in her Compass Cove series. Once again she made me fall in love with her hero and heroine, Jack and Lilly, not that it was difficult to do. Lilly’s return to Compass Cove has an air of mystery as why she left California and her successful career as hair stylist to the stars. Jack is an FBI special agent who is rarely in Compass Cove because of his dedication to his job. While he has returned for Best Man duties for his brother’s wedding he was also tasked with one more case; a case that involves Lilly.

There is definitely magic in the town of Compass Cove, magic that helps Lilly and Jack rediscover the love they once hid from each other. The magic and love would also help Lilly heal her heart and regain trust in men. There is also the love and support of family, reminding Lilly and Jack of promises they made to marry when they were children. Lilly was the yin to Jack’s yang, sun to his moon, and sail for his boat. They would not be able to outrun fate, no matter how many mistakes they make.

Ms. Moon wrote a wonderful and emotional story that is not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with sexual chemistry, amusing banter, and endearing characters giving Lilly and Jack a chance at true love and having a future together. I highly recommend All of Me to other readers.

Old friends, Lilly Vasquez and Jack Miller, are reunited when Lilly returns to her hometown of Compass Cove and Jack takes on the job of protecting Lilly from her abusive ex.

Eighteen years ago, Lilly confessed her love for Jack, but Jack turned her away. Lilly never got over the rejection. She moved to LA where she became a stylist to the stars and eventually ended up in a relationship with a well-known actor. When the relationship turned abusive and Lilly couldn't take it anymore, she went back home.

FBI agent, Jack didn’t plan on settling down. With a job that had him traveling all the time, a wife and family didn’t fit that lifestyle. But when he takes on the job of protecting Lilly, everything changes. He has finally fallen in love and will do anything to keep Lilly safe and start a new life with her.

I really liked the previous Compass Cove books, so I couldn’t wait to read this book. Lilly is a character that I could easily relate to. She got taken advantage of and in a situation that got out of control. She found the strength to leave and take her life back. With the help of her friends and family, Lilly was able to feel safe again and start her life over. It was fun seeing her and Jack finally get together. The story flowed easily. The plot was well written and all of the characters fit well within the story.

Some quotes (from ARC):
“The man was perfect. Absolutely perfect.”
“Compass Cove was a special place.”
“It was a perfectly mundane morning in Compass Cove. And it was perfect.”
“«You are perfect the way you are.»”

An adolescent crush turns into mature love in “All of Me”, by Jeannie Moon (Tule Publishing), a romance novel set in a traditional small town, in the cocoon of friends, relatives and small town “good people”.
I liked the closeness between Jack and Lilly, the transition from friends to lovers, and all the caressing, kissing and cuddling, showing their mutual fondness while falling love and before sex. Lilly has been smitten since she was a teen, but I didn’t really buy Lilly’s role as a beacon in Jack’s life before the story takes place.
While I enjoyed the romance, I found the tendency for stressing how perfect everyone and everything is – perfect people, perfect lovers, perfect friends, perfect families and town, perfect sex – too conventional. Jack ostentatious hotness and gorgeousness is enticing, but these traits are so overstated and repeated that the handsomeness feels a bit shallow.
The problem with Gio’s role in the plot was the far-fetched coincidence which brought him into Compass Cove.
I enjoyed the story and it kept my interest but in the end it all felt a bit bland, Jack with his “white knight complex” and Lilly more a goddess than a “mortal woman”.
I’m curious about Doug’s, Jack’s eldest brother, story.

I really enjoyed this book, my first by Jeannie Moon. She's been on my TBR pile for a while now and I should have got around to reading more of her books before now as I loved this one, it reminded me of the style of Jill Shalvis, one of my favourite authors, and I'm definitely going back for a return visit to Compass Cove to read the two previous books in this series now.

Lilly is a hairdresser who owns her own successful salon in Compass Cove. She used to be a hairdresser on movie sets but after a bad-break up with a nasty film-star she was dating she fled home to Compass Cove and put the Hollywood lifestyle behind her. She didn't tell any of her friends the extent of his abuse as she wanted to put it behind her and felt as if people would blame her for not leaving sooner. But then a movie starts filming nearby and Gio, the nasty ex is the star and in Lilly's town. So Lilly lodges her concerns with the local police, as she had a restraining order on him before, just in case he tried anything.

Then Jack (FBI Agent), an old crush of Lilly's, returns home for his brother's wedding, but is also checking out Lilly's concerns as it crosses police boundaries, and so finds out the whole file on what happened. Lilly has loved Jack forever, but he rejected her when she was 18 and they've always circled each other since then. Their friends and family are very close though so they've bumped into each other over the years at various gatherings.

There are some great characters in this book (loved the grannies!) and although there are two previous books in the series it doesn't really detract from this story, it just makes me want to go back and find out Adam & Mia and Nick & Jordan's stories. I really enjoyed the style of writing, very easy-reading, I read most of it in one day sitting in the garden! Very enjoyable and highly recommended.

Le sigh. Another new Jeannie Moon book, another new disappointment.

I don’t know what’s happened - a new editor? different beta readers? she’s been reading all the “popular” new adult/young adult authors? I don’t know what - but these last two books are NOT the Jeannie Moon I fell in love with while reading Then Came You (Compass Cove #1).

Lilly Vasquez returned to Compass Cove a year ago and opened her own hair salon. Everyone in town was shocked since she seemed to be living the high life in Hollywood as a stylist to the stars, with an A-List movie star boyfriend. But no one has asked, and she isn’t sharing why she moved home.

Jack Miller has spent little time in Compass Cove the past 13 years, first for college, then because of deployments for the Army, and now his job with the FBI. But with his older brother’s wedding in three weeks, a case involving Lilly has him returning home a little sooner than planned and putting him in direct contact with the woman who told him she loved him when she was just 18.

Because of last minute wedding preparations, Maid of Honor Lilly and Best Man Jack are forced to spend extra time together. Which works out well for Jack, who needs to find out exactly what happened when Lilly was in Hollywood and also keep her safe. By the time the wedding rolls around, Lilly’s secrets are out in the open, the crisis has been averted, and all's right with the world again.

What started out as a compelling backstory before Jack was deployed, quickly got dragged down in too much internal thought about how the other looked, regrets about the past, and I had a hard time believing the hero and heroine had truly been pining for each other after all this time.

When all was said and done, not much really happened. Maybe that expectation was on me, since Ms. Moon has previously written several stories where more was going on than involved just the hero and heroine. But there was scant here to keep me intrigued, and even the dialogue - which is usually a strength of this author - was just meh.

And here I go, with some uncharacteristically harsh words. Prepare for ranting...

Ms. Moon is a grown-ass woman, and previously wrote like one. But these last two books seem to have been written by a twenty-something indie author without an editor to tell her to stop using over-used, trite, and cliched phrases like “panty dropper” and “ovary popping” (neither of which seems to be a good thing to me...but I’m a late-40ish-pushing-50-something married woman with three kids, so what do I know?). These last two books feel like she’s pandering to the new adult/young adult crowd - even though her characters are NOT new adult/young adult. And I couldn’t be more disappointed because the first book in this series was SO SO GOOD and lead me to read 12 of her 18 books. I used to have confidence that she could give us a compelling storyline and not take the stereotypical routes to a happily ever after, but books two and three in the Compass Cove series have completely shaken my confidence.

I truly hope for better in the future from Ms. Moon. Will I still keep watching anxiously for her new releases? Yes. Will I still read the six books I haven’t read yet? Absolutely. But I hope she goes back to writing stories that are fresh, and original, and touch my heart - instead of making me all ranty.

This is a serious look at the after effects of physical and mental abuse that tempers the life of Lilly Vasquez. She was a well sought after movie stylist who abruptly left that life after an ugly break up with star Gio Graham. She returned to her home in Compass Cove to start over but the trauma lingers on. Unfortunately, her abusive ex is in town filming and Lilly is terrified to see him. Jack Miller, FBI agent is also in town for a family wedding. He and Lilly always connected when they were teens and he is there to watch over her and protect her from Gio. Jack is gentle, non-demanding and falling for Lilly. He begins to crack her defenses and the wall around her.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
