A second chance romance with mind blowing chemistry is just what they both needed. Robin’s characters are positively amazing and will feel you with every heartwarming moment you could possibly imagine.

Robin Bielman’s second book, Sweet Talker, in her American Royalty series has so many heartwarming…pull at the heartstrings moments that it’s hard to pinpoint only specific parts of the story that stand out more than others. This is simply put an all together wonderful story that nearly drives itself from beginning to end…one I found hard to put down once I started reading it.

I’m definitely looking forward to Drew’s story…with the high bar this author set first with Heartthrob and then Sweet Talker, Hot Shot will need to be remarkable in order to meet or exceed the first two books in this series.

This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

second chance romance with a cute couple. . I really wish there had been more to the mystery that brought the two back together.

I think I would have enjoyed this one a lot more if I had read the first book in the series. I loved the idea that this author had for a strong heroine. But, other aspects of the plot fell pretty flat for me such as the suspense/mystery element to the story. Unfortunately this one just did not work for me in terms of plot, but I did like the writing pretty well and I'd be interested in reading more from this author in the future.

A female bodyguard assigned to her ex will discover that her heart still aches for the man she left. Can a second chance ignite the passion that was once there?

Unexpected surprises, tension, heat and a ton of goodness.

Every book by Robin Bielman is pure magic!

I really enjoyed this book by Mrs. Bielman. This is the 2nd book in this series and it was just as good as the first one. This book is about Pascale and Ethan. They met one summer in Hawaii and fell very hard and fast. Pascale left Hawaii without so much as good bye and it shattered Ethan because he truly loved her in those few months they shared together.

Present day Ethan's family is very famous due to the chain of hotels they own and so is Ethan and his restaurant that he owns. Recently he has had someone sending him odd mail and things have been happening at his restaurant. Ethan's manager Charlotte leaves and hires her replacement who is none other than Pascale. Pascale has changed so much that Ethan doesn't recognize her until Charlotte calls her name and recognition hits Ethan among other feelings.

Pascale is a private bodyguard who has been hired by Ethans family to shadow him since he has been getting letters and little gifts sent to his restaurant. The only thing is Ethans family doesn't know they have a past and Ethan doesn't know that Pascale is hired to be his bodyguard.

As you can tell this story has several different elements to it. However it is well written with funny and sexy scenes. Also Ethans meddling family keeps the laugh coming as well, especially his Grandmother.

I enjoyed this book and hope Drews book is soon to come.

I received an advanced copy for an honest review.

I really enjoyed Sweet Talker by Robin Bielman, it was one of those books you didn't want to put down.

The writing is well done, the characters Pascale and Ethan were likable, entertaining and the chemistry between was smoking!

Sweet Talker is a lovely addition to the American Royalty series and I highly recommend it.

*Thank you to the publisher via Netgalley for the advance copy.*

This has been the hardest review for me to write. I swear, I've gone through 20 drafts before settling on this one.

Sweet Talker is book two in the American Royalty series which can be read as a standalone. This is Ethan's story and it packs quite a punch. It's a second-chance romance between two very strong personalities. There's quite a bit of light-hearted banter in the first half of the book. Ethan's family secretly hires bodyguard Pascale to ferret out the threats against him. Can she protect him while protecting her heart, too.

Then, there's the second half of the book. Just as they get on the same page, bam! Disaster strikes and this suddenly becomes a totally different book. Dramatic romance is what I'd describe it as. The tone is serious, so serious in fact, I had to put the book down a few times. I finished it, I'm happy to report.

My honest opinion is that this book is actually two books in one. It misleads the reader, based on the blurb. I felt cheated, somehow.

I still give it three stars for superb writing. The character development is spot-on and the ending was good.

Fingers crossed book three is better.

My Rating: 3.5 stars

I was intrigued with this story at the beginning, but it started to loose a bit of steam and then the side story with Riley just seemed a bit farfetched to me.

I enjoyed this book, but it honestly felt like two books in one. The first half was light and fun, as Pascale played “bodyguard.” Then suddenly ** spoiler here** she is a mom and making heavy decisions. While I liked both stories and angles, it gave me story whiplash. So, three stars for me.

What a fun, wonderful romance!!!! Ethan is quite the smooth-worker over his “bodyguard” Pascale! She was secretly hired by his family because he was having strange threats looming over him…but under the guise of being the new restaurant manager.

Even though this is the second book in the American Royalty series, it can be read as a standalone. It is fast paced, full of events, the storyline moved well throughout the whole book. I loved from the beginning to the end! The backstories and the extra side stories are great! 4.25 stars

I can't believe that I never read this author's work before and I have NetGalley to thank for being able to read and review Sweet Talker. And I'm quite happy that I did! I will definitely be reading more from her in the future (I have Finn's and Drew's books on my TBR list already). I love when the characters feel like they're speaking to you personally and this author's writing made that so easy to do. I became immersed in Ethan & Pascale's life immediately, as well as the supporting/secondary characters. Obviously, I want to go back and read Finn's book now and can't wait to read Drew's! Ethan is my favorite kind of male character -- sweet, sexy, compassionate, kind and I loved that Pascale was strong and courageous in her own right. Not to mention that their chemistry was off-the-charts sizzling. The storyline flowed so easily that I read this book in one day -- so very enjoyable! I will be reading more from this author for sure! I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.

I loved this book so much. Robin always has a way of writing her characters as if they're talking directly to you. That's why I love her work. This series is amazing and Ethan is my favorite brother. Rylee was the cutest thing in this book but I loved all the characters. Another great book by Robin.

Thank you Netgalley, the author and publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

When Pascale Nichols comes back into Ethan Auprince’s life, supposedly she’s there to manage his successful restaurant. In reality, she’s a highly trained bodyguard hired by his family after he has been the target of some stalker-ish behavior.
Sparks fly between the two of them even though she left him years before without a word. This time she feels guilty about lying to him as to why she’s there. Ethan is no fool and he quickly discovers the truth but keeps it to himself. When the past comes back to interfere on a few different levels, both Pascale and Ethan have to decide what they really want in life and love.
I really enjoyed this book, the romance at times sweet and at times very, very, spicy. I liked the interplay between Ethan and his brothers. I suspect that his brother Finn is the subject of a previous book. I’m going to have to find that one! I liked the humorous exchanges between Pascale and Ethan. Overall, a very enjoyable read.

Someone is messing with Ethan and his family is worried. They hire the best to protect him without his knowledge. Her cover is suppose to be his new restaurant manager. Pascale has protected royality, but never a man she once loved. Being a professional and all, she's got this. When Ethan meets his new manager he can't believe his eyes. The one woman who broke his heart is literally standing in front of him and now working for him. What does this mean? A second chance? Closure? Adventure? Good read.

This is an honest review of a book that I requested and received from NetGalley.

Another American Royal story = another home run for author Robin Bielman. This is the second book in the series about three wealthy brothers from California who seem to find love at work.

Sweet Talker may be part of a series, but you do not need to read the first book to enjoy this one - unless you just want to meet another HOT Auprince brother!

Take time to put this title on your TBR list!

Just when I think there is no possible way for Robin Bielman to write a book that could be better than the last one, she proves me wrong again!! There are some books that you read that you know you will always remember and this is one of them as well as Heartthrob and hopefully Hotshot will be joining the ranks. So do yourself a favour and read this book and this series. Robin Bielman is one of the best contemporary writers out there and she always has me coming back for more!! Happy reading!!

SWEET TALKER is the second instalment in Robin Bielman’s contemporary, adult AMERICAN ROYALTY erotic, romance series. This is billionaire restauranteur Ethan Auprince, and security specialist Pascale Nichols’ story line. SWEET TALKER can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalment is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Pascale and Ethan) SWEET TALKER follows the second chance romance between billionaire restauranteur Ethan Auprince, and security specialist Pascale Nichols. Ten years earlier, following a hot and heavy summer romance Pascale Nichols ran out of Ethan’s life. Fast forward to present day wherein, Pascale, now employed as a security specialist, finds herself working undercover as a restaurant manager for the man she never stopped loving. Enter billionaire restauranteur Ethan Auprince. What ensues is the rebuilding romance and relationship between Ethan and Pascale, and the potential fall-out as their time together comes to a close.

Ethan Auprince has a stalker, and unbeknownst to our story line hero, his family has hired a body guard in the guise of restaurant manager Pascale Nichols but the family does not know there is a romantic history between our story line couple. Ten years earlier Pascale Nichols’ life imploded and she ran to protect her head and her heart. Working for Ethan Auprince brings with it memories of the past, memories that force our heroine to look long and hard at what she wants, and where she is going.

The relationship between Pascale and Ethan is one of second chances. Ethan had no idea why Pascale walked out of his life ten years earlier, and struggles with the real reason she is now in his life. Hoping to reconnect with Pascale, Ethan begins a slow seduction of his restaurant manager/protector. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

We are reintroduced to Ethan’s brothers Finn Auprince and Chloe (Heartthrob #1), Drew Auprince, grandmother Rosemary; Pascale’s sister Paige; her boss Serenity; and five year old Rylee Stone.

SWEET TALKER is a story of second chances: secrets, lies, loss and love. The premise is emotional and captivating; the romance is seductive and steamy; the characters are colorful, animated and energetic but the ‘stalker’ story line was virtually non-existent ;the resolution was quick, non-confrontational, and rather unimpressive. SWEET TALKER is a great addition to Robin’s AMERICAN ROYALTY series.

I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I loved this book! Robin wrote an awesome second Chance romance(one of my favorite genres). I read book one for my book club and couldn’t wait to be able to read book 2. In Heartthrob we met all the Auprince brothers. Sweet Talker is the story of Ethan and his soul mate that got away, Pascale. The 2 met 10 years earlier one summer when both were in Hawaii. They fell in love and Pascale disappeared.

It is now many years later and Ethan has his own restaurant business back in CA and has gotten a stalker. He ignores it but his family worries and hires a female bodyguard. It turns out to be long lost love Pascale who he hasn’t seen since she left him in Hawaii. He doesn’t know she is his bodyguard. She was also hired as her cover, to be his new restaurant manager. His previous one had to leave and she hired Pascale. She finally tells him that the reason she left was she got a call that her best friend had been murdered. This led to her current profession as a bodyguard.

As time passes the two start becoming friends and spending time together. Then both realize they still have feelings for each other.

Pascale’s prior assignment didn’t end well and she ended up getting close with her client’s boyfriend and his daughter. She was fired. But she kept in touch with the little girl. When the unthinkable happens and the little girls dad is killed, she is name guardian. This changes everything for Pascale.

I love the Auprince family and the storyline of this book. Robin does a wonderful job including some sweet and sexy times. I highly recommend this book, giving it 5 stars.

SWEET TALKER had me hooked from beginning to end, even though there was, in my mind, a division within the story that begins in one direction and then takes off in another. I understood it, I wished it could have been an easier transition because I could “feel” that first half of the book and then on to the second part. It worked for me, I saw no reason to drop my rating because of the plot twist. And, in some ways, we almost need that first half in order to really get the emotional impact from the second. I know, I’m being vague here because of possible spoilers that I do not want to mention… yet I loved Ethan and Pascale together and that is the real bottom line here.

Secondary characters and returning characters always make a story more realistic for me as no one lives in a vacuum. I adored Ethan’s family, even if they are strong-willed they love hard and protect even harder. Pascale had a few moments for me, yet she’s strong where she needs to be and vulnerable in some ways as well. I loved a professional female protector for a strong man and a man who, eventually, could handle that role reversal. Pascale and Ethan worked for me – they have a road ahead of them that is full of potholes, but together they can make it – they simply have to trust that the risk is well worth the reward. Two stubborn people who work their way back for a second chance to get it right this time.

I had a blast with SWEET TALKER and would not hesitate one moment to recommend this story to any reader who loves unusual plot twists, a strong couple, secondary characters with a strong presence and a really good love story.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
