*Spoiler Free* I'm not going to discuss anything that's not in the blurb.

Ethan comes from a wealthy family, but has established a successful restaurant on his own. He's got a stalker. His family secretly hires Pascale as his bodyguard. She poses as his restaurant manager. Unbeknownst to his family, Ethan and Pascale had a passionate summer together 10 years ago. She left him without a word and broke his heart. He is drawn to her again, even before he realizes who she is.

The bodyguard storyline is resolved halfway through the book. Then the story twists. Pascale's life changes, and the couple has to deal with the momentous change. Will they survive it?
***
Ethan and Pascale are both likable characters and have chemistry. It's easy to see that they belong together. But Pascale's insecurity gets in the way of their happiness. The story moves along at a good pace and keeps you turning the pages. Highly recommended.

4 1/2 Stars! Another great book by Robin!

Ethan and Pascale had a summer together ... but at the end of the summer Pascale left Ethan without a word! Ten years later, Ethan's family hire Pascale to be his secret bodyguard not knowing that they know each other. Ethan can't believe that his old manager hired Pascale to be his new manager. He doesn't know whether he should be happy or mad about it.

This book grabbed me right from the beginning! When Ethan's grandmother was telling Pascale about when he was a little boy in the bathroom ... I was laughing so hard there were tears running down my face. I also really liked that Pascale is a strong woman who can hold her own. I found the banter in this book to be so realistic, not only between Ethan and Pascale but also in the supporting characters. I love it when there are little kids in a book ... they just make the story ... better. And Rylee ... what a little cutie! This is a great addition to the series and I can't wait for Drew's book!

I received an early copy courtesy of Tule Publishing through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

So before I start, second chance romance is probably my least favourite trope normally, I avoid them but gave this one a go because I love this authors other books - and I’m so glad I did! I loved every single second of this book, I could not put it down. I love Ethan and Pascale and all of the other characters in the Auprince family! I cannot wait for Drew’s story!

Sweet Talker by Robin Bielman. a great addition to The American Royalty series. This a possible second chance at romance storyline. The story of Ethan and Pascale. I enjoyed the setting and dialogue. Took me awhile to get into the storyline but once I did I really enjoyed the connection between the character. Look forward to reading the next in series.

Sweet Talker is one of the sweetest second chance romances I have read in a while. Do you ever forget your first love? Ethan never has; especially when she disappeared from his life without a word. Ten years later, Pascale suddenly reappears as his newest restaurant manager but why did she show up at his restaurant? Ethan is thrilled to have a second chance with the one that got away but Pascale has a secret and a tendency to run from her feelings. After a shocking surprise occurs, Pascale thinks she has to choose only one person to love. Can she choose Ethan? Does she have room to love more than one person?
This story flowed from the first page; it is very well written. I love stories where the only real drama is the characters working through their own emotions and obstacles. Ethan & Pascale were both completely likable characters. Ethan is the rich gorgeous guy whose restaurant business has been his life & love for years. Pascale is a tough female bodyguard who keeps her feelings close to her heart. But together they fit. I am also a huge fan of the dual POV as I loved seeing into both their minds and I just wanted them to admit everything to each other as they admitted it to themselves.
This is a highly enjoyable read. It’s not terribly steamy but there is definitely passion and love. This is a series about each Auprince brother but each can be read as a stand-alone
I was gifted an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

A second chance romance that’s as sexy as it is sweet, Sweet Talker is a fast and easy read with great chemistry between the characters. Though it’s the second in the series, it can most definitely be read as a standalone since each book follows a different brother with a very different personality. This time, the focus is on Ethan, the charming restauranteur who is a bit of a ladies man. He’s happy with his life of wining and dining until a woman from his past resurfaces. Ethan and Pascale spend one summer together ten years ago, where they both fell in love but never exchanged the words. When a family emergency took Pascale away, she never thought to contact Ethan since she always assumed he considered their time a summer fling. Now that Ethan’s been receiving some unwanted packages and notes, his family is worried about him so they hire Pascale to be his bodyguard in secret, not realizing their history. Once Pascale and Ethan come face to face, Ethan reaction is much stronger than Pascale anticipated, and she realizes she may have made a mistake in the past and also in the present by believing she could perform the duties of the job without falling for Ethan all over again.

I loved the chemistry these two had from the very beginning. It’s clear that they had a great relationship in the past and while they burned up the sheets, they also had plenty of conversation. Those old feelings still linger for them both, but Pascale’s secret role in the present keeps them from acting. The first half of this book flowed extremely well, and had me connecting with the characters. Pascale lost me a little bit in the back half, but I got where she was coming from. It’s really a book in two acts - you’ll know what I mean when you get there. For me, the first act is more successful but I also loved seeing the changes in Ethan during the second. I received an ARC from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review of this light and sweet read. I look forward to the next book in the series to see who Drew finally picks as his perfect match.

Sweet Talker the second book in Robin Bielman's American Royalty series was an enjoyable sweet, delightful, easy read. That had plenty of wonderfully charming and likable characters. As well as a second chance romance that was earnest and sexy. And it easily kept me entertained throughout.

So if you're looking for a light, engaging and fairly angst free read to curl up with for a couple of hours then you should definitely check this one out.

I liked the first book in this series better. This one was a hard pill to swallow. Ethan is being talked and his family decides to get him a bodyguard. Turns out it is Pascalle, who happens to be his ex, who had ghosted him a long time again.

This one was a little too far fetched for me.

A second chance romance that I loved from the first page. Ethan Auprince might be a bit entitled, but he’s a real decent guy at heart. He loves his family and his friends, his job is his life, oh, and he’s not looking for a serious relationship. Until SHE walks back into his life again. The one that got away, his one true love, Pascale “Callie” Nichols. What he doesn’t realise is that she’s been hired as his bodyguard. Sweet, funny and sexy, with a little bit of angst. Great charactersI I love all the Auprince clan, grandmother especially, she’s a real feisty one. The humour and banter between grandma and grandsons is hilarious. Callie is just the right amount of soft and hard to match Ethan, and I loved how they interacted together. A match made in heaven, I just hope that they can ride the storm, and Callie can get past her fears that a relationship with Ethan won’t work. Highly enjoyable, summer read. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via email. This is my honest review.

Sometimes you finish a book and you come out with a big ol’ sense of eh. The book itself is neither wholly awful nor amazing, but at the same time, you haven’t felt anything while reading it (beyond laughing a couple of times at the straights). It just is.

That is, essentially, how I felt about Sweet Talker. It is comfortably nowhere near the worst I’ve read in straight contemporary romances, but it’s also a reminder why I only tend to trust a handful of authors writing this genre.

The story is a second chance romance. Ten years previously, 19-year-old Callie and 22-year-old Ethan had a summer fling, which ended abruptly following Callie’s best friend’s murder. Now Callie is working as a bodyguard, for a firm who Ethan’s family has just hired to look out for him as he has a stalker.

Honestly, what got me interested in this book was the whole female bodyguard premise, but that ended around halfway through (and also was not a point of angst, because it turns out Ethan knew all along, which is fine but. Doing a background check on someone you’re crushing on to find out what they’ve been doing for the past 10 years? Feels a little creepy to me. I’ll just chalk it up to him being rich). And the stalker storyline was a lot more benign (insofar as it can be) than I expected. The second half of the book was mostly dedicated to the child who had suddenly been foisted on Callie through a frankly somewhat unbelievable series of events.

I think what got to me most about this book was how utterly bland Ethan was, and thus their romance too. Ethan was rich, hot, had sexy dimples (as I was told many times), was kind to everyone, everyone loved him, etc etc. But really, he was just fairly boring, if I’m honest. Which meant their relationship was also fairly boring. It’s not even really his fault the angst happens, he’s that perfect (and boring). Not to mention the angst could really have been nipped at the bud if they sat down and talked things through, but no, Callie has to run off to Hawai’i and break things off by text.

And then I just had to laugh when Ethan got turned on at the thought of Callie getting pregnant with his child.

So. In the end. Eh.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Tule Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I loved this book! Second in the series. Ethan and Pascale are just nice people. I know no one is perfect and they both mess up multiple times but they keep on living. Of course being rich doesn't hurt. Just an interesting read. 4 stars. I truly believe most romance readers will enjoy.

Ethan and Callie first met and fell in love ten years ago, but Callie disappeared without a word to Ethan. Now, she has been hired as the manager for a restaurant Ethan owns. However, Callie is keeping a secret from Ethan that could ruin any chance they might have of a relationship. Can two people with this much history and secrets still between them find love again.

This is the second book in a series about the Auprince brothers. It was nice catching up with the second eldest Auprince brother and his wife. I’m looking forward to the youngest brother’s story in the next book.

I really enjoyed the first book in this series and this was a solid follow up. I wish we had more of the brothers interacting and more of a set up for the third book, that being said you can totally read this as a stand alone. There is a lot going on and a few different plots but overall a nice romance. Thank you to netgalley for the ARC.

This is Ethan and Pascale book , Ethan is the hottest restauranteur on the west coast! He works hard, plays hard, and loves his family! He also is receiving some unwelcome threats from an unknown source! Then in walks in, the one that got away! He soon discovers that his own family hired her to protect him! Yes he’s mad about this but secretly he’ll play along! For now! Lol Pascale is a hired bodyguard she’s a tough chic but she just found out who her new charge is! It’s none other than the sexy as sin dimple hottie she ran away from! This book was a decent-read I enjoyed it, it’s not my all time favorite but worth reading! It could have been a little hotter and the bodyguard aspect wasn’t very threatening at all but it was a cute decent one! I did enjoy the story line! Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!

I didn't think this one was as good as the first one in series. This was Ethan Auprince books, he is the older brother of the Auprince's clan, there are three supposedly hot brothers, I hope you started with the first book which was Finn's and Chloe's and as I mentioned already I definitely liked that book more. In this book we get reintroduced to Ethan, who is being stalked by someone and he is not taking it seriously he sees it as harmless, however his family takes it more seriously and hires a body guard for him without his knowledge and that is where Pascalle enters who just so happens to be his ex, who had ghosted him about a decade ago. Pascalle apparently ghosted him because her best friend had been murdered by a stalker. These two get reacquainted and still have feelings for each other which Pascalle is determined to fight. She also had a previous problem with a job she had and she is determined not do so again. I just found the book too, I can't even find the right word but the meaning is like too tied up too nicely-example she gets into being a body guard since her friend was murdered, I got that but coincidentally she ends up being her lost loves bodyguard- yeah no.. Then we meet the stalker really early on and we knew who it was, also too coincidental, and then how she ended up with Ryle.. So I wasn't really happy with book I found it to cheesy, and I really hope that Drew's is better than this one. What saved it for me was the rest of the clan.

I really enjoyed that the heroine was a bodyguard, I just wish it was more pronounced to the story. The danger was resolved mid story. Ethan was a nice hero, he wasn't obnoxious the way the trend has been lately and that was so refreshing. Partway through the story though what I thought were some unnecessary complications. The draw for me was that Callie and Ethan were decent people who behaved like adults and took responsibility for their behavior. This was a sweet story with nice people. I'd have liked more focus on suspense and a little more feeling that there was some actual danger around the corner.

This was a nice read.
