I would highly recommend Debbie Lindell’s newest book, “She Prays”. I did not know what to expect when I started reading this book, but immediately it caught my attention and I had to stop, think, absorb and then reread again. I underlined so many key points that hit home and spoke to my soul. For those that struggle with praying and those who are novices, this book is blessed by God and filled with insight. If one wants a vibrant prayer life, then it must begin with the forgiving grace that only our Savior can provide. Sometimes, when I think what Christ has done, it’s so hard to take in and accept that He could want me as a child of God, when my life has been riddled with sin, or when I turned away after coming to the knowledge of Christ and the lengths he went to, to bring me back.

Pastor Debbie’s ease of writing and bringing forth the message of this books, feels like to friends sitting at a table and talking. Her passion for women to come to know the heart of the Father comes through so clearly. For those that have struggled with close relationships, it is often hard to understand how the Father could love us so deeply despite our many failings, but His tender heart is always turned toward us, calling us to Himself. He makes prayer our access channel directly to him, so that we can lay out the burdens of our hearts, seek forgiveness for our sins while drawing closer to him in prayer and the reading of His word.

The book is challenging, thought provoking and a MUST read.
