The second part of the story carries on as enjoyable as the first. Set in Brighton, you meet some great characters as Regan starts to reinvent herself and start again. A romcom which is full of fun, nevertheless, you find some more sombre issues there, such as homelessness. You know from the cover, that this is ultimately going to be a heart-warming tale, full of life. Well worth a read.

Another wonderful instalment, following on from part one. Regan is still crashing at Cleo’s studio while she is away in Japan and her life remains one disaster after another. However she has now found work and a new friend in Penny at the coffee shop and a funny new venture possibility at the local market. All the wonderful characters continue to make appearances but things become a little darker in part two.

Charlie is pulling away just as Regan realises she’s falling for him and after an awful confrontation Kevin becomes withdrawn and becomes a constant worry for Regan and yet again the author leaves us on a major cliffhanger.

The author has a real knack at making you laugh one minute and then struggle to keep your emotions in check the next. Covering some hard hitting subjects with warmth and care and a little light humour and with a sweet kind protagonist you can’t help but be caught up in her antics and want only the best for her.

Regan is still reeling from Charlie's revelation as part two of this series begins. Humour and poignancy give way to darker issues and real sadness as this story progresses. Regan and Charlie's conflicted romance forces her to concentrate on finding a new career and move her life forward.

The main characters are easy to empathise. Friendship, humour, mystery romance and sadness are all integral to this story that ends heartbreakingly.

I received a copy of this book from Avon Books UK via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

Part 2 of the series and i thoroughly enjoyed it.

Regan has now decided to open up a market stall. We learnt something about Charlie that changed everything for their relationship and they are trying their best to be friends but its proving difficult.

Im intrigued by the backstory of the homeless man Kevin and his dog Elvis. I hope i get to read parts 3 and 4.

Great story, definitely worth a buy!

So here we are at part two of this novel. My review of the full novel is coming here soon but in the meantime, here’s my opinion of the second part.

Having read the first instalment, I’ve already established a relationship with the major characters. In this part of the novel, things take a darker turn. Whilst book one focused on the outcomes of the cruel joke that Regan experiences, this is more about establishing the characters. Things aren’t as rosy as Osborne initially would have you to believe and, although Regan takes steps to become financially independent, there’s still plenty of gloominess lurking. This just shows that life, like the seaside, has darker days..

I’m still interested in seeing how the story develops. Once again, this part ends on a cliffhanger, so I’m really keen to find out what happens next. I was not expecting Regan’s new career move, so I’m excited to see how she makes a success of things. Her best friend, Cleo, remains a distant presence, leaving me wondering to what extent she will feature in the latter half of the novel. Yes, readers, you’ve guessed it – I’ve got plenty of questions from reading this second instalment!

So, a book that I normally would have devoured very quickly, is now being read in three, prolonged and separate parts. Honestly, it’s not my favourite method of consuming books however, my interest has not wavered. Admittedly, I feel that the pace and intensity of the story has slightly reduced yet, from a plot perspective, this is just as good as the first part. I’m totally ready to read the rest of it now!

With thanks to Avon books and Netgalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Another great part of the story- it leaves you desperate to read part three. Regan is trying to sort her life and is interested in a new business venture which sounds like it will be great to follow in future books. I'm also rooting for Charlie and can't wait to see how his story develops.

An enjoyable and entertaining read that make me wish I can read the third part immediately.
It was as entertaining as the first instalment and I was happy to read the development of the plot and the characters.
A fun read, perfect for this times.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

Meet Me at Pebble Beach #2 - In Too Deep. I am so into this series that I can not wait for the next installment.

The second part picks up with Regan and everything is falling into place and yet falling apart at the same time.
Part Two shows how Regan is fitting the pieces together and moving her life forward.
One minute I am certain I can see where it is all going and then WHAM there is an event that turns it all upside down.

I can not wait for the third installment to pick up where things are left laying at the end of this installment.

Thank you so much NetGalley, Avon Book UK and Bella Osborne for giving me this ARC to enjoy.

: I really enjoyed part one and was desperate for the next instalment from the seaside town. Regan is loveable but her life is pretty much a car crash. I instantly warmed to her all the same….she was just starting to feel like she’d made progress yet she was hit with a bombshell at the end of part one. Part two is less chaos from Regan although her dads kitchen would say otherwise but she’s more productive and selfless in part two. I liked how her new friendships had her thinking more confidently and productively about her situation.

In this instalment we see a much more subdued Regan who is looking for answers and coming up short on most counts. I truly love how down she is but she’s still there for others a proper kind hearted woman. I must admit the cliff hanger of part one was nothing on that in part two. I literally had my heart in my mouth it felt like Regan was finally getting what she wanted and then within a split second that all changed.

I know the final two instalments are going to be gripping and have me on the edge of my seat. Bella Osborne has created a story that is humorous yet also extremely heart wrenchingly real. During a time when we’re all living for kindness this has been the perfect treat. I really must read more of Bella’s work I’m definitely a fan.

Oh my goodness, part two of this book leaves on such a cliffhanger I couldn’t sleep last night. In part one I wasn’t too keen on Regan the main character. I thought she was a bit selfish when she thought she had won money. I’ve changed my opinion and really like her now.
Such a lot of things are happening in her life, Charlie being one of them. It’s hard to say much without giving spoilers away and I don’t want to do that.
There must be a big back story with Kevin who lives on the streets with his dog. He seems to be a really nice person and I hope Regan will end up helping him.......or maybe not?
I can’t wait for book 3 as this finished far too quickly. I’m hooked!

Oh this was so good and just when I was going to find out how things were going to turn out....it ends so frustrating. This is turning out to be a lovely, warm story and I really can’t wait to find out what happens to all the characters in part three. I hope Ms. Osbourne isn’t too long in writing and releasing the next part and of course the one after that as I really want to find out if there is a happy ending.
My thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for giving me the opportunity to read this book in return for an honest review.

In Too Deep is the second part to the Meet Me At Pebble Beach book and I have to say this second instalment gets a little more in depth and dark.
We catch up with Regan as she is adjusting to losing her job, boyfriend and subsequently her home. To be fair she is adjusting fairly well and in a business sense this could be the making of her as new doors open up. I like that Regan is a caring person, especially around Kevin and Elvis. Charlie seems to be holding something back and I’m sure we’ll get to the bottom of that in time. Penny, Regan’s new boss is coming out of her shell and is seeming like a nice dependable person.
This instalment took me a few pages to remember where the last had finished. I like that it is enough to read in a day and the cliffhanger is a good one. Does what happens, happen to the people I think it does or not?? Can’t wait for the next instalment.
I would like to thank Netgalley and Avon Books UK for this ARC I received in exchange for an honest review.

This is just brilliant, each part gets better and each one ends with me desperate for the next and to know more. It’s so addictive and you just wonder what more this girl is going to get herself involved in next ! Addictive reading and such a fun distraction, roll on part 3.

If you read my review of book one in the series, you will know that I was looking forward to reading more (There are another two after this one).
The combination of humour and desperation from book one is still there but, Regan is starting to find her feet. I’m really enjoying the way Regan’s character is developing along with Charlie, Kevin and Elvis. Another cliff hanger but, at least I know there is more to come.
I’m really looking forward to the next instalment and seeing where Bella takes us .

OH MY WORD! Part 2 of a series of 4 and i am so desperate to get my mitts on the other two and devour them now. These two so far have been completely addictive page turners and i raced through them. I really want to read all four before writing a full review. But so far, one of my fav series to date.

Well In Too Deep, part two in Bella Osborne's new series Meet Me at Pebble Beach, was equally as enjoyable as the first part which introduced us to Regan where we were informed of the major calamity that had befallen her. Normally I find books spilt into serials tend to waver in the second and third parts before picking up again for the finale but this wasn't the case here and the story goes from strength to strength. In fact I really do think it's one of the best books Bella Osborne has ever written. Everything moved along at a great pace and not a chapter was wasted. There was no filling in and I felt we really moved away from the events in part one which had set everything nicely up for the remainder of the book. The foundations had been laid and they were built upon brilliantly.

When I say move away I don't mean all the events that had occurred had been forgotten about. They gave us the basis for the story and now that Regan is slowly starting to come to terms with what has happened to her she begins to realise she can't remain in a sorry state for herself bemoaning what has occurred. She needs to get out there and claw her way back to some sort of happy state of mind and turn her life around. The way in which sets about doing this was so enjoyable to read and I flew threw part two which only whetted my appetite to see what was to come in the remaining two parts.

Having been left on a cliffhanger with the ending of Out of the Blue it was resolved somewhat at the beginning of In Too Deep but that's not to say I was overjoyed to read what the outcome was. It put Regan in a precarious position in which she has to do some deep thinking and decide should she go down a road that may lead to heartbreak or should she step away from something that could bring much joy? She really was caught between a rock and a hard place and between that issue and trying to keep the fact she had lost her job and was living in a small artists studio secret from her best friend Cleo she was maintaining a fine balancing act. One little slip of the tongue and things really could have gone belly up for her.

What I really liked though that with a little nudge in the right direction from her new friend, firefighter Charlie, was that Regan grabbed a little bit initiative and ran with it. A spark of an idea set forth in motion a whole new storyline and I loved the way it was developed. Focusing on perhaps a slightly sadder aspect of the overall plot would have brought down the overall optimistic and hopeful tone of the book and I was glad that this didn't happen. After all this is a story where one must look to the positives in establishing new and happy steps in life.

Regan knows that she needs to earn some money and fast and the idea to set up a stall at the local market was brilliant. The title In Too Deep really came into its own as she appeared like a fish out of water as she struggled to think of something new and creative that hadn't been done before. The jam and chutney making idea using left over fruits and vegetables from the market was brilliant and led to a very funny scene in her Dad's kitchen. The humour throughout was balanced so well with some of the more serious issues at play. But it showed that Regan was turning a corner and that she wasn't going to give up and she understands she can't sit around forever. No one is going to offer a new life on a plate, that she needs to get out there and work for it herself.

A quick mention to the storyline regarding Kevin the homeless man Regan has befriended and his dog Elvis. It's a bit hard to read at times and I hope it does go in a positive direction but I love how it is being weaved in around the overall storyline. As for Regan's Dad, I have my suspicions as to what is going on there so it will be interesting to see am I proven correct or am I way off the mark?

In Too Deep was another brilliant read. OK it may be a quick read but in these troubling times when your mind can't settle to anything for longer periods of time it is the perfect anecdote to take your mind off things for a short while. Again we are left with another cliff hanger ending which makes you want to get your hands on part three Sink or Swim as soon as possible. I can't wait to discover what's next in store for Regan and co especially as things seemed to be on the up for her.

In Meet Me at Pebble Beach (part two)we catch up with the irrepressible Reagan and her blossoming relationship with the gorgeous Charlie. Except the blossoming part has come to an abrupt halt with Charlie’s shocking revelation and Reagan is struggling with her emotions. Finding a temporary job in the much loved coffee shop she frequents, Reagan’s thoughts turn to setting up her own business in the local market as means to making some much needed money.
What I love about Reagan is she is most definitely a ‘fly by the seat of your pants’ kind of woman, the complete opposite to me! The silly humour from part one is still much in evidence with Reagan deciding that jam making will be her route to bagging a market stall, her USP being quirky flavours. Of course that’s perfect for Brighton but she is a complete novice and her attempt to create samples to win over the market manager are so funny. I do have to bring the author to task here; as a long time resident of this seaside city I do think cauliflower and rhubarb would appeal to some!!!! I absolutely love her optimism in the face of near disaster and she is a great character to lift your spirits.
Her caring nature is further explored in part two through the development of homeless Kevin’s story, bringing a level of seriousness to what I would class as a funny but frivolous read. Again the reader is left wondering the fate of Kevin and his faithful companion Elvis and exactly what will happen to Reagan and Charlie’s relationship.
The overall tone to this book is one of humour, warmth, friendship and maybe love, with some great one liners and has the added appeal for me being familiar with all the locations described.
Look forward to part three and my thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for giving me the opportunity to read.
