I enjoyed reading Million Miles Away by Alice Bane and is her debut Sci-Fi Romance novel. 
The author developed both the science fiction and romance aspects of the story well and the book was interesting to read.

The only issue I had was when Natalia encounters Korin for the first time, I found part of the dialogue a bit unbelievable and simplistic. 

I liked the story and the characters. The mixture of real-world and science fiction kept my interest, and the characters were solid and believable. The book had a good mix of mystery/suspense and intrigue which kept me turning the pages to find out what would happen; and the ending, while a cliffhanger, was done well. I will be interested in reading book 2 and see how Natalia navigates her new identity and newfound strength.
