I truly enjoyed this book! The illustrations are simple but not minimalistic. I like that a lot most of all because it leads the focus on the rather complex theme. It is not only nice to look at it is motivational, too. I am glad for all the kids who can read this one during their childhood!

Thank you @netgalley for gifting me an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

It's #climatestrike day!! In honour of today's protests I took the time to read 'We are all Greta' by Valentina Giannella. I wanted to educate myself on the statistics of climate change and the sort of research and action that is taking place to combat it.

I loved the infographics and illustrations throughout, and really enjoyed the scientific yet simple explanations given. I feel more equipped to deal with the jargon that comes with climate change and more au fair with how I can make a difference. I would definitely give this 4/5 stars.

Books like We Are All Greta should be required reading material, everywhere! We are at a critical point where action must be taken if we want any chance of preventing further climate change and global warming - before it is too late.

We are on a course of irreversible, man-made damage to our planet, but we can all play a part in saving. Just by making what may seem as small changes to our everyday lives will, in turn, have an even greater impact on our planet. If you want to do your part, then read this book!

It's about time we take care of our planet and do whatever we can to protect it - because there is no planet B.

As I’m writing this review, young people and activists are gathering in cities and towns across the globe to raise awareness amongst the worlds population of the existential emergency we face as a planet. The science speaks for itself, but politicians and big business still seem to have their heads in the sands. Even those that listen don’t seem to realise the problem. They talk down to them blaming each other for the crisis. It’s almost like saying to a little kid, well done and then turning away whilst continuing to pursue policies to make it worse.

For all those doubters, read this book. Learn from the science of it. It’s aimed at teenagers but yet it’s eloquent and reasoned vocabulary, it puts the science across in terms that are easy to understand. The chapters highlight what we must avoid, what will happen to the earth if we don’t act now. There’s tips how to adapt yourself so you don’t add to the heating so much.

At first I wondered if this was another of those books that was there to cash in on the climate emergency. I approached it with scepticism, yet after reading the words, I no longer worry. It should be in ever school library in the world, along with the speeches of Greta Thunberg. Lots of figure, not false news. The youth of this world inherit the earth but yet the older statesman and companies care more about profit than doing something together to stop this happening,

Sorry to ‘get on my soapbox’ but it’s just I feel strongly about this. Millions of young people across the world also feel this way. Read this book now, it might just help us change the world.

This appears to be an excellent book on climate change. The tile, of course, refers to Greta Thunberg who has galvanized young and old on climate change. The chapters of the book look to explain climate change in a way that is geared to later elementary school age and up. However, most unfortunately, my copy of this book would not download any pages past the excellent introduction. I will have to wait for the book's release date to learn more.

When the school going Greta, gets up to speak about Climate change, global warming, greenhouse effect, and renewable energy. The world stops and listens. She brings about a revolution to save future generations.

A must-read book to all the citizens of Earth! You want to save Earth and all in it, stop complaining and start saving.

As someone who's husband works in the field of climate science (and has done for over 30 years) the science of climate change has been relevant in my life for a long time and this book was a real treat in that it mentioned so much of the worldwide research and so many of the worldwide initiatives to help reverse the damage.

The book managed to explore a lot of issues in an accessible way, with a great glossary at the end, and also managed to make points without being too scary, preachy or didactic- no mean feat in this field.

My one niggles was with the tense used to talk about Greta - it made her seem like a very old person, a historical figure or at worse as someone no longer with us. This was a little jarring and I hope that the book isn't seen as being too late and shrugged off by people saying that there's no point in trying...
