Another great book from Nadine Dorries in this series. As with her other books they can be stand alone but are far more enjoyable
read in order. So all the main contenders are present in the hospital drama alongside characters from Liverpool’s docks. Who needs TV soaps and Christmas drama when you have nurses, doctors, hospital staff and a good old fashioned Matron in an old fashioned caring Liverpool hospital just before Christmas. Thanks Nadine and NetGalley.

Snow Angels is the first book in the series I've reviewed. It's not the first book by Nadine Dorries I have on my Kindle app.

I was pulled into the novel by the opening scenes and it was a fast-paced book. The hospital atmosphere was excellently portrayed as was as the personality of every staff member there. I knew there were bound to be some conflicts from the mention of the staff hierarchy at the hospital.

Baby Louis is found in a garage and cared for by two of the nurses. This plot was emotional and well thought out. In fact the joys and hardships of the time period are written about in such a way that you can't help but feel for the characters and be interested in them.

Thanks to Nadine Dorries and Aria for my ARC in exchange for an honest and voluntary review and my place on the blog tour. I'm interested in the rest of this series and adore the title and cover of the novel. The way that the main characters are known as 'the angels' is very apt since they work helping and caring for people in a hospital. The Christmas atmosphere is well described too.

I just love the books written by Nadine Dorries and this one didn’t disappoint. It was a heartwarming story, the characters are lovely - even the awful people end up having a sympathetic slant given.
A well deserved 5* from me.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for letting me read this book in exchange for a review.

It's the first book I read by this author and won't surely be the last.
It's a poignant, heartwarming, engrossing, and entertaining story that kept me hooked till the end.
I love the setting, the likeable and well written cast of characters, and the plot.
I look forward to reading other novels by this author.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

As a fan of Nadine Dorries’ books, I was delighted to be offered the chance to review this, the latest in the Lovely Lane series. We are reunited with all the usual characters, sprinkled in with a few new ones. Mystery surrounds a new employee, Eva. Why is she so desperate to work at the hospital? Victoria anxiously awaits the birth of her baby, while Teddy hopes for a new start with Dana. The biggest surprise of all proves to be Dr Gaskell’s wife, and a new start of her own.

This book is as ever a fabulous read, the characters leap off the page and feel like old friends. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it, and look forward to the next in the series!
