This was the best book of the series so far. Very emotional. Anna and Freddie are still dealing with the fallout when Anna lost her baby and everything that happened to cause it. Now all of a sudden one of Tanya's old friends shows up and blows their world apart.
Then a gang and drugs all are causing trouble for Freddie and he has to deal with that. This is his turf and is being threatened. The family dynamics always gets me with this series and I could not put this book down. I NEED the next one NOW!!! lol
Thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for the ARC.

Another cracking instalment in this gritty saga from Emma. I honestly cannot find fault with this book - the characters are larger than life, and their life is written fantastically. But what a cliffhanger! It's going to be an agonising wait to find out the fate of Freddie and Co!

The Tyler's #5

This book starts off roughly were the last book ended. Freddie and Anna are finally getting back on course after all the trials and tribulations they have been through. Freddie hears on the grapevine that two wise guys from Manchester are trying to muscle in and take over Londons drug scene. Drew and Jacko had ordered and received a vast amount of drugs from the Ramone brothers, but they have not paid for it yet. Freddie and his brother Paul are also trying to keep one step ahead of the police. But they have a mole I the police force who is actually heading the case they are trying to build against them. So they should remain one step ahead at all times. And a face from Freddie's past comes back to haunt him.

Oh Emma Tallon! You have messed with my head big style big time. There is so much going on but it's not hard to keep up with. There are several twists that you come to expect if you've read any of the books in this series. This is quite an emotional read for several reasons, none of which I'm going to tell you about. I was on the edge of my seat quite a few times. I really could not believe what was happening. I was in shock. Then that ending! Omg Emma, I cant believe you've done this to me! Please hurry up with the next installment. I cant wait to read what happens. Best book in the series by far. I highly recommend this book and the series. Absolutely fantastic.

I would like to thank NetGalley, Bookouture and the author Emma Tallon for my ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Started this book not realising it was the fifth in a series. However, that did not spoil the enjoyment of the book. Emma Tallon was able to bring readers up to speed quite quickly.
The book is set around Anna a club owner and her Gangster boyfriend Freddie. Freddie is head of the Tyler family who run the underworld of London.
A person from Freddie’s past comes back to upset Freddie and AnnA”s life. That along with another crew from Manchester muscling in on Tyler turf means trouble.
I found while reading the book I really warmed to Freddie. He may be a hard man but it’s family that’ everything to him.. also Anna has a real vulnerability about her.
Also a shout out the Bookoutre staff member you got her name in the book. That made me smile.

Emma Fallon is fast becoming one of my favourite female authors the Anna Davis series is fantastic if you like gangland villains and their everyday lifestyle.
Anna and Freddie are finally beginning to recover from the loss of their unborn child when their life is once again put in turmoil. Can their relationship survive ? As always Tanya is there to support Anna and they continue to build on their own business empire.
A rival gang from up North encroach in Freddies territory and he is forced to deal with the problem but at what cost.
Can't wait for the next book in this series.

Reckless Girl - Emma Tallon

I bloody love this series, whenever I get one I can guarantee that I'll be losing myself for a couple of hours, for me these are always a page turner for me. This is #5 in the Freddie Tyler gangland series and it continues roughly from where #4 left off, I don't really feel these should be read as standalones, this is due to the wealth of details about our intrepid trio Anna, Freddy and Tanya that the other books contain.

The author definitely isn't afraid to write about the more delicate subjects and this novel is no different and in this she touches on child neglect, drug and alcohol addiction. We read about the highs and lows of a certain type of drug addicts lifestyle, it's actually kind of scary. Needless to say we delve into the murkier side of the gangland life, the descriptions used for the more violent elements are a necessary evil in this subject matter.

After all the drama at the end of the last instalment in the trios story when we meet back up with them things are on the up but as we know there's always some cheeky young pup trying to take what's yours. This time its a dazzling duo, Drew and Jacko from Manchester and they absolutely aren't choir boys, we all know that Freddie and his brother Paul definitely won't take that lying down.

With Anna finally emerging from the pain of losing her child she begins to get back into the business. Freddie, well Freddie is happy if Anna is happy but we do see a completely different side to him throughout this novel both personally and professionally. There is another problem this time a much more personal one and as usual Freddie handles it all wrong. He never learns that secrets and lies end up costing him dearly. Tanya meets an old friend from back in the day, this young lady (I use the term loosely) saw an opportunity to get a fast buck in the worst possible way.

What a busy book, even with the little I've mentioned there's so much more happen between these pages, pay attention. Its a rollercoaster ride of emotions and a bombshell and a half making me gasp at the sheer audacity of some folk.

I promise you that If you are a fan of Martina Cole, Mandasue Heller and Marnie Riches, then this young lady is a new author to add to your list. I'd highly recommend these and I'm really hoping that #6 won't be too long.

Read for an honest review. Thank you Ms Tallon, Netgalley and Bookouture.

This, the 5th book in the series can be read alone and also of course as part of the series
So they are back, the Tylers, Freddie, Anna, Paul and various others like Tanya ( Anna’s BFF ) and the story continues pretty much from where Book 4 ended
I LOVE THE TYLERS, probably my fav ‘crime’ gangland/underworld family and I felt myself relax and enjoy being back with them all from the first paragraph
As always the writing and story is fast paced and addictive, it really is a book thats hard to put down as once the book starts you are there, with them and its literally none stop until the very exciting ending!
The book is atmospheric and ‘real’, horrific at times but also full of human emotion, humour, grief and revenge, everything thats needed in these books is here
I found this book perhaps the most hard hitting in the series on several things, brutal at times and raw emotion at others
I really do love this series and everything about it, if this genre is your thing then you too will love it and if its not then give it a try and it may surprise you
Roll on Book 6
10/10

Anna and Freddie are back in Emma Tallon's excellent series of books and this time Freddie finds himself going back to his past as an old girlfriend Jules appears out of the blue with a huge shock for both Freddie and Anna.Once again the couple are thrown into turmoil just as their lives seem to be back on track after past events and Freddie also has to deal with a gang from Manchester trying to muscle in on his turf. Having read all the books in this series i would say .Reckless Girl is the best so far and i would recommend you read all the books in order to get to know all the characters as they evolve bit by bit.Another superb gritty 5 star thriller from Emma Tallon.

I have read all this series so far and all the books have been brilliant. This one is no exception. A very fast paced storyline with the usual twists and turns. Things were finally going in the right direction for Anna & Freddie when a big secret blows their world apart again. I just love Emma’s style of writing, it grips you and won’t let go. I would recommend reading this series in order just so you can get the background of the characters. I can’t wait for the next book.

Wow, another cracking read from Emma and for some reason I thought it was the final book in the series but I'm delighted to say I'm wrong. Just as everything seems to be falling into place for Anna and Freddie, more upheaval happens and the result being a new start but it's not long before they lose somebody very close to them both. I do hope it's not too long a wait for the next book 😁. I would definitely recommend reading this and I would like to thank the publishers and netgalley for letting me have the book to review and the opinions expressed are entirely my own views and are completely unbiased.

I’d like to thank Bookouture and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read ‘Reckless Girl’ by Emma Tallon in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Freddie is a successful criminal and owner of Club CoCo and when a rival gang from Manchester bring in drugs and try to take over his narcotics business Freddie needs to do something about it. A girlfriend from long ago shows up but how can be tell Anna about her without it ruining their own relationship?

I’ve not come across Emma Tallon before and when I started reading ‘Reckless Girl’ I was at a disadvantage as there’s no background given to help me understand the characters better, and with all the names mentioned I felt I’d been thrown in at the deep end. Nevertheless, it’s well-written, is gritty, gruesome and blood-thirsty, with lots of excitement and interesting characters and is well worth reading.

Wow Emma Tallon has done it again with another brilliant instalment about the Tyler’s.
Anna is finally starting to come to terms with the death of her baby and life with Freddie is starting to get back on track. When an old friend of Tanya’s turns up out of the blue. She happens to be an old flame of Freddie’s before she came along. Her name is Jules and the news she gives Anna leaves her reeling.
There is also troubles for Freddie when he finds out that a drugs gang from Manchester is trying to take over his home turf. But Freddie and brother Paul intercept the delivery, but that is only the start of their problems. When they find out that the Police are trying to take them and their businesses down.
Reckless Girl is another enthralling episode of this story and it’s the best one yet. Although this is a story about the criminal underworld it is such an emotional story. You feel for the characters of Anna and Freddie and Ethan but, you feel shocked and horror in other ways. I don’t want to give the game away or it will spoil the story and the author has cleverly left you waiting in anticipation for the next book after that dramatic ending. Well done Ms Tallon, can’t wait for the next book.

Wowzers, what a read. what a book, what an ending! I need more and I need it NOW.
Anna Davis
1. Runaway Girl (2018)
2. Dangerous Girl (2018)
3. Boss Girl (2019)
4. Fierce Girl (2019)
5. Reckless Girl (2019)

Reckless is book 5 in what has so far been a first class amazing series. I really couldn't see how each book i've read could be beaten yet each time a new one come out it smashes all expectations. This author certain knows how to pull in her readers and deliver just what they want. It's full to the brim of tension, action, nail biting, edge of your seat action. you are dragged along at a break neck speed wanting and needing more. A serious book that is unputdownable.
I absolutely loved it. I have read each and every one of theses books and can say they are best read in order, you will get a better understanding of the characters and the parts they play. If you haven't read any of them yet then boy, oh boy you are in for one hell of a treat.
But that ENDING. Sorry that was cruel, it means I have to wait and countdown to the next book. What a cliffhanger. I so can't wait to find out what happens.
Anna and Freddie have a great relationship and just as soon as you think things are getting good for them, something always happens. The is an almighty bomb dropped on them that they will no doubt struggle to fight through together.
Being part of the underworld is always going to have it's issues and rivalry, but Freddie seems to be faced with just to much this time, can he work through issues and regain the power he has.
I love the main charcter in these books, the bond between them makes the strorylines and relationships so much more believeeable, I feel I actually know most of them personally. I think when you develop fictional feeling then the author has done a superb job whriting about them and making you part of their lives as you read about them.
First class, I really don' know what more I could say. I don't have the words to explain how good this read really was and suggest you try to prove me wrong by buying it and reading it. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on it.
Leave comments below and let me know what you thought.

First class and then some. so deserves more than the given 5 stars.

I jumped at the chance to read and review Emma Tallon's latest!

I was not surprised when I devoured the book in one day! Anna and Freddie have personal drama that could tear them apart. A not-so-well-loved person from the past becomes a person to be dealt with...

Drew and his crew are cutting in on Freddie's business turf. This makes Freddie quite angry..

Freddie's DCI police informant is troubled - Perhaps she will bail on him?

"Family comes first" is Freddie's motto - but will this motto always be true?

As with her first books, Emma Tallon spins a wonderful novel that twists even the best of our imaginations!

I would rate this 6 stars if I could!

Many Thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for a super read!
