I did enjoy reading this book though I felt like a lot of it was predictable. I would have liked to see a bit more about Bella and who she was as a person.
At times, she just felt like a side character.

I also struggled a bit with the story, since it was very slow to start of.
All in all, I did like it and would give it 3 stars

The mother’s is a really good tense psychological thriller that will keep you guessing right until the very end!
A group of new mums meet at an NCT class and although they are all very different they gel and bond over the course of the classes and continue their friendship as the children grow! Their friendship is tested as a baby is lost, a mum suffers mental health issues, a child is diagnosed with autism and they all endure the rigours of early parenthood! However no one could predict the extent they are prepared to go to to help one of them out and the twists and repercussions this will have as time goes by, a tense, interesting, thrilling read!
Thank you net galley for this early read.
