This book had an interesting premise even though the endgame of the romance was pretty clear from the start. It took a while to really get into this story but I found Daisy to be a likeable heroine and I liked the distinctive personalities of the three brothers. A well written, sweet festive read.

Daisy did not have a happy childhood and when the chance to escape came, she got a job in Buchanans a jewellery shop and her love for the romance of jewellery and her secret passion for making it as well blossomed.

Daisy kept herself to herself and followed a routine that kept her grounded and focused. It was the only way to survive.

That is until the owner of Buchanan's decides she is goign to retire and therefore leave the shop to one of her three sons. The successful one will be the one that creates a piece of jewellery for Daisy - to do this they need to get to know her.

Step forward Lawrence, Bertie and Kit. Each of them decided to take Daisy out in turn to try and find what would be the right piece for her. Ice skating, shopping in London and a simple meal are on the cards but will any of them find the right piece and will Daisy be able to survive three separate days out from the normal safe routine of her life.

Whoever wins it will change their lives forever and why must the piece be for Daisy?

This is another 5 star read from Emma Davies, with characters you will recognise from previous novels they are all there to bring forth the romance and the love that Daisy has for jewellery that is hand crafted and made for love from love and not one that costs cast amounts of money and is the largest and most sparkliest gem in the shop.

This was a lovely story and the plot pulled you right in and you within the first few pages card greatly about Daisy and how she came to be living the almost half life she was. It took someone to notice something in her that needed more nurturing, more caring and ultimately more love to show Daisy the life she could be living.

A feel good festive read that will keep you warm on the coldest of nights. Emma Davies has done it again and her books are a joy to behold at any time of year!

Beautifully written, smooth flowing Christmas story. Daisy feels as if she is your best friend telling you about what is going on in her life. This story has depth which most Christmas stories lack. Grab your cup of tea and get snuggly fireside.

I liked the other Emma Davies' books I read and I liked this one.
It's an entertaining and engrossing read, heartwarming and poignant.
I liked the well crafted plot, the likeable and relatable cast of characters and the setting.
I look forward to reading other books by this author.

Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

There’s absolutely stunning imagery that’s captured by the author’s unique voice and it brings a whole new light to the Christmas season. It made me fall in love with everything from the characters to the plot line well after the last page. 5/5 stars

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for letting me read this book.
It was a lot more straitlaced than I expected it to be, with most characters being quite upstanding citizens. The main character Daisy, has had a terrible childhood, and has kept her adult life predictable and basic. Then her lovely boss decides that she's leaving and gives an ultimatum to her three sons. One winner will take over the shop. What ensues gives us insight into Daisy's life and the personalities of the brothers.
It's a light read where nothing overly cataclysmic occurs, and it's message is to live simply but happily.

Emma Davies writes the best books with beautiful descriptions and detailed characters. The warmth always shines through her books.

This book was something special. Daisy was a quiet romantic, who had the unique talent whereby she matched the perfect jewelry to a romantic occasion. Her employer and friend decided to retire and left a competition to her 3 grandsons. The one who made the perfect jewelry for Daisy would be left the job. The fun began when the brothers wooed her to get to know her. There was a spark with Kit, but was it real?

Emma Davies wrote this book with the loving strokes of her pen. The ink flowed smoothly in her words, there was nary a hitch where the lines felt abrupt. Everything seemed to be stringed like poetry. The characters were strong, their personalities came through. Each one was endearing and felt like family.

It was Daisy who caught my eye with her quiet ways. Her longing for a family resonated in my heart. Her emotions were a force to reckon with as they hit me passionately. She was complex enough to make the book interesting and simple enough to understand and love her. She was real, like you and me.

Emma's book was a pocket of joy as her words uplifted me, gave me hope and thawed my cold heart in ways that had me dancing with joy. It was a wonderful read on a lazy afternoon when life felt difficult, but the book made the few hours peaceful.

This was a cute little story and the characters were well thought out and written beautifully but I just couldn't find myself that bothered about the man characters, Kit and Daisy. I was interested in Bertie's story and would love him to have a love story of his own.
It was quite predictable with its direction but a nice little read when you need something lighter. Still a huge fan of Emma Davies although I've yet to find anything of hers that I like as much as her debut. 3 stars.

(4.5 stars) - a lovely Christmas fairytale with a refreshingly original premise

Daisy is a sweet cinderella-flavored heroine who is sensitive, creative, and generally perceptive at reading people. She's also suffering from a form of PTSD anxiety & insecurity that borders on OCD, and we eventually come to understand why.

Her life of routine is her comfort, and she doesn't want to leave her comfort zone because she's learned that doing so can hurt. Then her employer/friend puts Daisy in the middle of a distressing competition amongst her 3 sons to determine who will inherit the store.

In the process, Daisy learns more about the brothers and herself - and realizes some of her prejudices that have been interfering with her perception (& others that were right on the mark), she likewise learns about others' perception of her.

There may be a little sadness & a little frustration, but happily there's a lot of fun in Daisy's journey of discovery. We're given hints of where the story is going, but I wasn't expecting the twist at the end which was absolutely delightful!

*Clean romance level - sweet kisses
*Religion - secular, but several dozen uses of God's Name in vain, sadly, at least none of them to curse, but I do wish authors would be more considerate of their readers
*Language - about a dozen or two d*mns, handful of h*lls, one bs

Thank you to NetGalley for providing an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was a lovely piece of Christmas chick lit. The storyline is more than sufficiently Christmassy, but still has meat of its own. Aside from a few predictable turns in the story, there is enough uncertainty to keep you reading. Daisy is a complex protagonist who makes you want to root for her. I would love to read a followup to see what happens next!

I fell in love with this story the moment I picked it up. Emma Davies is definitely my go to author for when I want something uplifting and heart warming and with each book she just gets better and better.

No one does characters like this author does. I always love them! Okay there maybe the odd unsavoury one but otherwise they are all fabulous. There were so many likeable ones in this story but Daisy I especially loved and there is one character who appears in one chapter, Monique, who I really hope the author brings back in another book. She was just fabulous.

The book couldn’t be coming out at anymore of a perfect time of the year. The run up to Christmas can be such a magical time but for Daisy it also is a time for a lot of reflection as her job is under threat. There arn’t many of us who love what we do but Daisy puts her heart and soul into her job and she is an absolute asset for it.

Daisy is in for a bit of a bumpy ride as she is thrown out of her comfort zone and what follows is a story that was so engrossing that I lost all sense of time.

The Little Shop On Silver Linings Street is just the perfect reading companion. It welcomes you like an old friend and pulls you in for a warm hug. It entertains and was such an endearing read with a fabulous cast of characters. A book to be read and loved, over and over again.

I’ve only read one book by Emma Davies before, but I loved it, so when I saw this one I snapped it up. It has all the same charm as The Beekeeper’s Cottage, but Emma Davies has excelled herself this time. Here’s a few reasons why:

I love how you see characters from previous books, but you don’t need to have read them to enjoy this one. I love the beautiful scenery and atmosphere - the wonder of winter really comes across. I love the character development, particularly of Daisy, Kit and Bertie. This book seems happier to me, and I loved every relaxing minute of it.

I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a Christmas romance, with excellent character development.

I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is such a cute book. It is a little predictable and not quite what I was expecting, but is definitely still worth the read. It is perfect to read during the holidays.

I loved the novelty of this book, three brothers trying to vie for the attention of a lady by making a beautiful piece of jewellery. This really got me into the Christmassy mood and I loved Daisy as a main character and how her mind changes about her feelings throughout the book. Couldn't put it down until I knew how the story ended!
