This had the build up to Christmas as well as the event itself and that was perfect for me. It really helped build up the story and the characters. I also liked the way that this wasn't completely romance focused and developing the story felt more important. Overall a brilliant book I recommend.

Although the story is predictable it is enjoyable. The descriptions of Daisy’s jewelry making is unusual She is stunted by her past yet empathetic to others. The brothers are distinct and somewhat caricatures of ‘types’ but fit Kit. The end is satisfying

The Little Shop on Silver Linings Street is a sweet book based around the holidays, a family run jewelry store and a competition to see who will run the store when the matriarch of the Buchanan’s family decides to retire.

I found the beginning of the book to drag a bit but slowly it kept peaking my interest and by half way through Emma had me hook line and sinker and I couldn’t put the book down!

The story was heartfelt and pure without the “usual” Christmas romance story . The best part about this was the creativity of the plot and the truly warm and fuzzies the book gave me the last half of it!

A love story but not just with humans, a really wonderful read. I didn't want this to end as it has been beautifully written and so interesting and heartwarming. I will be giving this 5 stars and I recommend you all go and get a copy, curl up with a nice hot chocolate and enjoy this as much as I have done. Well done Emma Davies

This is the second book I have read by Emma and this was just as good if not better than The Beekepers Cottage.

I loved the fact that some of the characters from that book appeared in this one.

This is the first Christmas book that I have read this year and it was one of the best ones that I have read. Let's hope the rest will be as good as this.

It really is a very special magical tale. It has some very christmassy parts in it which I love. The main character Daisy was an absolute delight to read about.

Well done Emma. Another fantastic book. Thank you.

Daisy likes the simple life, she is happy living in the little lockkeeper’s cottage left to her by her grandparents, walking along the canal on her way to work at the up-market Jewellery shop, Buchanan’s. She has a way with the customers, listening to their romantic stories and finding the perfect piece to take home with the, despite the stock being much too grand for her simple tastes. The run up to Christmas is totally thrown by the owner’s announcement of her retirement and a competition between her three sons to find the person who will take over the business. Daisy finds herself embroiled in this scheme despite just wanting to keep a low profile and dream of making jewellery of her own. I loved this enchanting story from the beginning following the twists with interest and hoping Daisy found the courage to seize the day. Highly recommended. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this story. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Such a cute story. Makes me think of a Hallmark movie, so if you love those, you'll love this. Daisy has a troubled past and has lived her life in every way possible to bring order and predictability into it. Until the shop owner where she works throws in a big wrench that will change everything about Daisy's life. The characters are fun, the story is cute, it's just an all-around feel good book.

Thank you NetGalley for an ARC for my honest review.

Cute and cozy not my favorite seasonal book but still enjoyable and fun. There were a few areas that got a little boring but is still an enjoyable cute story

Absolutely loved this book!
The main characters were all strong and their stories drew the reader in. I loved the fact that Amos, Grace, Flora and Ned from Emma’s previous books appeared in this one. You do not have to have read Emma’s previous books to enjoy this one, it is a stand alone book but it adds to the magic. I loved the twists and turns in this book. It was a beautifully written story, full of amazingly written descriptions, scenery, full of emotion and it has a real feel good factor.
A book which when you finish it, begs to be read again
Thank you to Netgalley, Bookoutre, and Emma Davies for letting me read this book in exchange for an honest review

Loved this gentle read from Emma Davies. I'm sure many of us can relate to the lack of confidence felt by the main character, Daisy. But stretching her limits and experiences may give her the future she has only dreamed about.

A heart-warming holiday fairytale! The widowed owner of Buchanan's jewelry store has decided to retire setting in motion this modern day story of a thirty-something damsel, Daisy, and the quest of three brothers to find the answer of a perplexing puzzle: a perfect piece of jewelry for Daisy. The winner will own the store and its future. The men have two weeks to learn and decipher the likes and choices of the young woman who has worked in the store for the last seven years. Yet, does Daisy really know herself? She has talents and secrets buried under the plain wrappings she has developed over the years. The deadline is Christmas Eve. Can there be a happily ever after for any of them?

An adorable, quirky and incredibly satisfying story of a young woman, unsure of herself and the world who is thrust into a competition between three brothers to see who will take over the family jewelry store she works at. Which is most definitely something she is very uncomfortable with! Kit, the youngest is someone she has worked with day in and day out die years, but never really spoken too. Bertie is the party animal that very occasionally makes and appearance and Lawrence is the oldest and a ruthless and single minded businessman. None of them really seem at all interested in it, not really, and she has no idea what is going to happen. They have until Christmas Eve to pick one item of jewelry that truly matches her, though she won't be the one to pick it. Their mother will. It's a magical town, with a cast of very lovable and interesting characters and Daisy is truly a very gifted and beautiful person. I loved it and enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you to the author for this amazing tale that I could not put down!

Thank you Netgalley and publishing house for the ARC. Daisy is such a lovely person. You can tell from the beginning that her soul runs deep. I enjoyed watching her story come out and her true self emerge. I felt like I was with her, walking in the moonlight or in her cozy cottage. I loved reading about some of the characters from books past and seeing where they are now. The Buchanan boys! What a mess they were. And what a challenge they were presented with. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

What is the perfect jewelry for Daisy?
Author of multiple books Emma Davies takes us into the life of thirty-two year old Daisy Turner in her romance novel "The Little Shop on Silver Linings Street" which was published by Bookouture. Daisy is a creature of habit, keeping her living quarters clean and leaving for her job at Buchanan's Family Jewelers at seven forty-five precisely every day when she works. But what she has not organized is the fact that she might loose her job because Beatrice Buchanan, the owner who gave her the job years ago when Daisy was young and desperate, announces that she is leaving the country. The shop will go to the one of her three sons, Lawrence, Bertie, or Kit, who creates the perfect Christmas jewelry for Daisy. All three sons spent time with Daisy outside of work in order to get to know her better. Will they discover what they need to know in order to accomplish the task? And who will discover what the secret is that Daisy holds?
This was the first book of Emma Davies' which I read. I highly recommend it since it is a nice and relaxing read that also contains some surprises. The story presents well developed characters and an interesting story line.
The complimentary copy of this book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley free of charge. I was under no obligation to offer a positive review. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

A seasonal read with a sweet, simple heroine and three privileged brothers vying for a coveted prize. The author, Emma Davis does a good job of showing the differences of personalities in the characters and how if you take the time to really learn about someone, you just might learn about yourself. Thank you to Netgalley, the author and Publisher, Bookouture for an ARC.
I voluntarily read this book and the review is my honest opinion.

Daisy lives a simple life despite working in an extravagant jewellery shop. She loves the heartwarming love stories that customers bring to her and in return encourages them to buy with their heart rather than to make a profit.
Eccentric owner, Bea announces her retirement and sets her 3 sons the challenge of finding Daisy the perfect piece of jewellery and the winner will inherit the shop. All of the brothers are horrified, as is poor Daisy!
She spends time with each of the brother as they attempt to find out more about her in order to discover her preferences. She also makes discoveries about the brothers and herself in the process.
Daisy reveals an artistic side and develops her passion for designing her own jewellery with a personal touch which is a far cry from the ostentatious gems available at the shop she works in.
In the midst of this is a fledgling romance…
The Little Shop on Silver Linings Street is a beautiful feel-good Christmas book. There is an appropriate festive message about appreciating the value of things and not being materialistic, about the thought behind a gift not the price tag.
I was expecting events to turn out the way they did but the journey to the ending was beautifully written and emotional. Daisy’s past is hinted at throughout the book but when she reveals the truth I’m sure it will bring a lump to your throat :'( We also get reunited with Grace and Amos, Flora and Ned from the previous books in the series which is a nice touch.
