I don't know what to say... This story would be a great YA read if toned down a bit. The character - "Ace" - needs to be more believable until the bitter end, also. The protagonist, Clair, was a bit too naïve, this for having been in the workforce a while and being promoted a number of times.

Clair's lawyer came across as someone who must have paid the ABA to have passed the Bar Exam.

I really liked the premise, however. Brandi Brown does know how to write a concise story with a lot of action!

I hope the spelling, syntax and other grammar errors were cleaned up before the final edition was complete.

Actually, all in all, I DID like the story !

Many Thanks to Xlibris / BooksGoSocial and NetGalley for a good storyline.
