A big thank you to NetGalley and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-Op for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is part of a series, but reads great as a stand alone. While, I thought they both had huge chips on their shoulders, I understand the fear of letting go. I didn't really connect with the characters. They are way outside of my lifestyle but I did enjoy the book. Parts were funny. They definitely had the enemies to lovers thing down. I still give it a 4. It was short and fun. A great beach read.

Lance and Savannah have known of each other since they were children, having attended the same schools. They have been husband and wife for nine months, but hardly know each other at all. Lance proposed a marriage of convenience in order to meet the requirements of his grandmother’s will, which Savannah accepted in order to pay off her debts and those of her parents.

There was no sex during the first nine months of their marriage, but they both tired of the dry spell and agreed to add sex to their relationship. Now, for the first time, they are spending time together and getting to know each other. Can two people from completely different financial worlds, both of whom have constructed emotional walls around themselves, allow themselves to fall in love and actually admit it?
