Do you want recipes for keto casseroles that use fresh ingredients and only take minutes to prepare and cook?
This is the book for you - buy a block or package of cheese, tomatoes, tomato sauce, broccoli, cauliflower, eggplant, sour cream, butter, and chicken breasts, drumsticks, ground turkey, pork and hamburger, and you can make and freeze enough food for a month.
The Chicken With Brussels Sprouts and Bacon recipe looks delicious and sounds like a winning sweet and sour combination!

I didn't glean a lot from this title. "sour" in a recipe title is not a positive term in cooking for me. The recipes were very basic with very little seasoning, there wasn't anything new or terrible exciting for me.

While it's a pretty basic cookbook (in recipes, layout, and photos, it's helpful for a novice keto person like myself (I'm still on the fence but willing to try it). The ingredients are easy to pick up at the local grocery store and I'm looking forward to trying a few recipes.

I had never thought to try a Keto diet but perusing the Amazing Keto Casseroles, I found that there are a lot of recipes in this book that I would absolutely try. I like that it is a cookbook for one as there are recipes in the book that I would like but hubby would not. The recipes are easy to read and have a minimal amount of ingredients.
Each recipe has important nutrition information and lovely pictures to give you an idea of what the casserole should look like! These recipes are low carb which is great so of course, there is no dessert section so that throws me off a bit because I do have a sweet tooth but I could see myself using this cookbook temporarily to help lose some weight.
I think that this is a book I could sink my teeth into, tasty and easy recipes to eat healthy!
I recommend it!

This book gave me a few recipes but most of them appeared to be same with different meats. It was worth looking through.

I follow a keto way of eating so I thought this book would be ideal for me, especially as the rest of the family don't. I have problems with it. One recipe says 'cheese' - no mention of the type, one says enchilada sauce - I don't have a clue as to what that is. There seem to be some end of lines missing - 1 oz of Olive - should tht say oil on the end? 3.5 oz tomato - tinned, raw, sauce? There are no vegetarian dishes either. It is possible to be a keto vegetarian. There are no lamb recipes and also very few vegetables used.

On the plus side the recipes are asy to make and are while some are for one person, some would serve more - or have left overs for lunch the following day. I don't think I would buy, or recommend this book, it's very basic and there are much better ones out there.

I received a free advance review copy. This review is voluntary, honest and my own opinion.

Recipes are simple and easy to follow. We have already tried 2 recipes and we were pleasantly surprised at how much flavor these simple recipes had.

This book was something I was looking forward to. As a mom with very, very limited time...casseroles would be lifesavers. Keto Casseroles...even better! Some of these looked really good but others were not appetizing. I guess that goes for anything though, personal taste plays a big role in what we think of recipe books. This is something I would look at here and there but I'm not sure I would purchase it.

A book with very easy recipes! I'm always looking for something new to try in the kitchen so the book is really handy. I would rate the recipes easy level and I think even the most unexperienced person in the kitchen can figure out how to cook it! I've already tried a couple and everything was absolutely easy and delicious

I don't know exactly what a keto diet is, but the picture on the front of this book looked delicious! So, I decided to check it out. I found 2 recipes that I thought would be decent, with some revisions of course! Mostly though, these recipes sounded truly disgusting. Liver casserole? No, no, no! Adding butter and mayonnaise to dishes that already have bacon and hamburger? Sheesh. Want a little meat with your fat? This isn't a cookbook that I'd recommend. There are thousands of excellent recipes that will fill a person's keto needs, but you're not going to find any here. Thanks, to Netgalley for the chance to check this book out. Now, I'll be deleting it!

What a poor excuse for a cookbook! It's so full of omissions and problems it's shameful.

First, none of the recipes tell you the number of servings. From the amounts of ingredients in the recipes I am assuming that the ingredients are for one person, but the pictures show significantly larger recipe sizes.

Second, all ingredients are listed by weight, so I you are cooking in the US and don't slavishly weigh EVERY ingredient, you are stuck.

Third, you are not even told what kind of casserole to use. The pictures won't help you either because some recipes are pictured in baking dishes, some served on plates, and some on rimmed baking pans. There isn't even any introductory text to help you here.

Fourth, it appears that the author has about a dozen or so basic recipes he uses where all he does is change the protein. Do you think the Sour Chicken sounds good? Then you can vary it with sour pork, etc. This is not responsible recipe writing, not all ingredients behave the same way, Results differ, some flavors don't go together, you can't always just substitute.

These are just the major faults. Unhappily there are a host of small ones as well. You have a restricted set of ingredients, far more restrictive than the diet calls for. There is a distinct lack of using any flavoring agents, meaning these dishes will be dull. The ingredient lists are not complete. The book will say "7 oz chicken thighs" but I don't know bone-in or boneless, skin on or off. It's not as if only one form was common. Instructions are about as sketchy as the ingredient lists. Most instruction are of the dump and bake sort. As any good cook will tell you, this will not give you consistent results.

Skip this book, a general cookbook will serve you much better.

3.5 stars
The 55 recipes in this book are very simple to make with readily available ingredients. With the price of beef these days, I am particularly appreciative of the large number of chicken recipes. However, the recipes require some math because the macros and ingredients are listed for one meal serving and I assume that one would just multiply by the number of servings. The good thing is that the ingredients are listed in oz and in grams, which I prefer to volume, since volumes are less reliable, especially when you're calculating macros. With a food scale, any of these recipes would be easy to do. I would be unlikely to prepare any of these in single servings though. One should keep in mind that when they do something like drumsticks or chicken breasts, the mass of each is not going to be exact, so to some extent, you'll have to fudge the measurements. But these recipes will give me a very good scaffolding to prepare meals for my family. One other thing I like about this set of recipes is that they seem to be friendly to keto and non-keto folks alike. While I like to follow the keto philosophy, my kids are carb fiends. But they looked through these recipes and thought at least 10 of them sounded really tasty, so that's pretty huge. Several of these could also be prepared with a side of pasta or rice for those who want the carbs. I'll probably go through this book with my kids and try recipes one at a time and figure out what works for us and what doesn't. I'm very thankful to #TiborSzentkiralyi and #NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

My husband is currently doing the Keto diet so this was an exciting find for me. I had him look at the recipe titles and he picked out quite a few that we have made/will made. It's nice to see a variety of options as Keto can be rather limiting. I don't know if I would buy this book however because the proportions are all in ounces. It seemed like even though this is a book of "casseroles," the recipes were designed for single servings - one pork chop, one chicken breast, ect. I ended up just using the ingredients as a guide and adjusting the measurements to what we needed.

I'm really excited for this cookbook because it has such simple and easy to follow recipes most having only 4 or 5 ingredients and they are usually things you already have about the house! The photo's are mouthwatering! I love having a photo for each recipe unlike alot of other cookbooks that only give you a handful of some of the recipes. My only complaint is wishing they had given the amount of calories per serving as well as the carbs.

I don't follow the keto diet, so I can't speak to whether or not these recipes conform to it. That said, most of them sound like they will be very tasty, and they definitely would be low carb. Also, the recipes seem to be simple and easy to follow given that most require 5 ingredients or fewer, call mainly for things that I normally have on hand, and don't require a lot of preparation or cooking time. Overall, this cookbook seems like it will be a good one to reference when I need a last-minute idea for a quick weeknight dinner.

If Cauliflower Salami Casserole is your jam, this is your book. If it isn't? You're me.

Some of the recipes sounded good and some had cute names, which is always a win for me. Chicken Ketochilada Casserole? Yes please! Keto Beef Balls? Er, that depends...

This book wasted no time getting to it, it had no intro, no razzle dazzle. A bunch of recipes, some sort of interesting/off putting photos, and it was over.

Thank you to Tibor Szentkiralyi, BooksGoSocial and NEtGalley for giving me this Arc in exchange for an honest review!

The recipes are written in a simplistic style with minimal ingredients making the dishes appear simple and quick to prepare. However with probably the most unappetising photos of food I think I’ve seen in a recipe book I don’t think I’ll be making anything from it.. Looks and feels very dated circa 1970’s.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to review this title for review purposes as, although I didn’t like it personally, I’m able to recommend it to suitable customers visiting the bookstore. Due to my negative opinion I shall not review on any platforms, other than GoodReads, including my blog.
