This is a powerful final volume to this trilogy. Th Amber Garden very gradually reveals the intrigues and secrets from The Alchemists’ Council (Book 1) and The Flaw in the Stone (Book 2). Masson keeps her beautiful narrative style, and you need to focus as these books are content- and language-packed. A treat for any reader who enjoys alchemical fantasy and appreciates well-honed writing style.
The Amber Garden is a treat worth waiting for, and worth reading first 2 volumes to get here. Complex alchemical world history is only part of the joy. I also really liked how Masson builds and presents various relationships - familial and romantic.

Even if I liked the storytelling and the world building I was overwhelmed by the high number of characters and found hard to connect to the story.
Not my cup of tea.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

I received a free digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I liked this book, but the character pool feels too big for what is happening in the story. There were too many different perspectives at hand and it just over all felt confusing.

The story line itself was really good! But it felt almost disjointed from the other two books in the series.

This is pretty good. It has a big cast and some complicated plot points. Different perspectives from different characters may put off some readers, but I was OK with it. Be sure to read the previous books in the series first.

I really appreciate the advanced copy for review.

I honestly couldn't really finish the book. I felt it was too slow and too much going on with it. Don't get me wrong the storytelling was good! But I feel like it was too much information on each page.
