A quick easy read that I managed to finish in one day. I liked the premise of the story, the conflict between the characters that made the end realy good. I enjoyed thus novel while I read it but it was extremely memorable. I'd still recommend it to other romance readers, however.

A nice short read.
I would recommend this book.
Review given honestly and freely after receipt of a reader copy. This opinion is completely my own and was not influenced in any way. Thanks to Net Galley and the publisher.

I received an ARC copy from Netgalley for an honest review.
This is romance for sure but not told in a classical way. Generally even when it's written in 3rd person, it's as if the narrator is on the side of one character at a time.
In Lover's retreat the author tells a story and melts all characters evolution, thinking and point of view.
Aside from this surprise, not bad but unusual for me in a romance, this story didn't keep me on edge..

Enjoyable weekend read. Michael and Yasmin seem like oil and water at first due to his manner but circumstances force them to see the real version of each other in the end. The whole finding oneself and inner peace while travelling in Asia thing is a bit of a cliche now, so this is not the most gripping narrative. But the book is definitely worth a read if you have some free time and need a distraction. Thank you for this free copy.

A nice easy, second chance story set in a different locale. Two people find themselves unable to move on. They book a retreat in a tropical paradise. Their first meeting isn't a good one. Hesitant, she has put her life on hold to care for a sick relative. He hasn't dealt with a loss of a loved one. They are to partner each other at the retreat.

This was a short, but cute story about a couple who met after dealing with heartbreaking circumstances in their individual lives. Yasmin and Michael don't meet in the best way originally, but I enjoyed the growth between the two characters and it made for an enjoyable story. I plan to look for more books from this author.
