Thank you for the opportunity to read this but it wasn’t for me. Skipped on quite a bit to get to the end.

I loved Wicked by Design and I loved this novel that is the prologue. I was more than happy to discover how Hester and Crow met and to meet again these two characters.
I like this series, the mix of alternate history and adventure is well crafted and the characters are well thought.
I hope there will be other novels featuring these characters as I found this one engrossing and entertaining.
An excellent read, strongly recommended.
