Twists and turns make this a very good police procedure novel to read, Laura Hollis seems to be a decent Detective Sergeant but one faced with a disagreeable leader

I tried this book for the 2nd time because I hate giving up on a book. I just couldn't get into it. The storyline didn't make sense and the characters were very unbelievable. Maybe novellas are not my thing.

Great read. The author wrote a story that was interesting and moved at a pace that kept me engaged. The characters were easy to invest in.

This was a quick read, but still very entertaining. I haven't read anything by BJ Sandiford before, but I thoroughly enjoyed it, and will read some more in the future.
Recommended.
