Taking care of his last cousins daughter will give him the family he needs to balance out his life. A great cinsluion to the series.

Out of the 3 in this trilogy (all of which are stand-alones), I liked this story the least. It felt a bit rushed, lacking depth, etc. It didn't really pull any sort of feeling out of me while I read it.

3/5 stars

This was another great story by a great author. I liked both Maggie and Vane as well as the plot. I recommend.

I gave up at around the 15% mark. The female lead character acted more like a teen than an adult. The pacing of the story was just too fast. Barely any dialogue or background was provided and already the two characters were embracing. This author is just not for me.

I got half way through this title and did not finish. Too weird for my tastes but others may enjoy this story.
Thanks for letting me read and review.

Lots of problems with this one. Pretty much insta-love and the decisions on the part of the lead girl were just ridiculous.

A nice, kinda low-key story that was actually better than its predecessor. The fact that our H was connected to the architecture field made me more interested but unfortunately my interest was lost as I found they did not delve that much into that field in the story.

Vance McClellan is guardian for his cousin's daughter Isabelle. When he was summon to the school for a conference, he meets her 4th grade teacher Maggie Stewart. He seems rigid and business like to Maggie and she was really worried for Isabelle. When she suggested if he would let Isabelle attend end of the year field trip, he denied and was ready to leave in a hurry. When Maggie offered to drive Isabelle after the field trip to his new project he relieved to let Isabelle go.
When Maggie arrived at his childhood beach house with Isabelle, he offered her if she could be Isabelle's Nanny. Maggie decides to take the position until her next adventure and they started leaving together. Maggie wants to help Vance getting closer to Isabelle but Vance and Maggie are getting know each other and getting closer as well. Maggie never stayed in one place for long, will this be her permanent place or ready for next adventure?
It was short and sweet..
This book can be standalone. I didn't read the first two from this series.

The Billionaire's Ward by Leslie North was another great book. Leslie's writings are captivating, easy to follow and has a flow to them that I love.

Vane is sexy and single, He is a top businessman who's suddenly raising his cousin's daughter Annabelle. This is not something he, knows much about, he is not even sure he can give her what she needs. Maggie is Annabelle's teacher and the three of them take us on a beautiful journey in life, and unexpected happiness.

This book is about Vane that is the legal guardian of his niece and her teacher Maggie.

It was entertaining and a fun read. Maggie volunteers to help Vane by becoming his nanny for Annabelle for a short time because she has a thing about not staying in places for too long but of course, vane and her fall in love and form a cute family. The only thing i didn't care for was the insta-love trope but that's just me. It felt quick paced but if you're looking a cute, sometimes steamy and quick read about a billionaire with a cute niece that falls for the teacher, you will like this.

Vane and Maggie have good chemistry and I liked the story overall. Vane is trying to provide a stable home for his niece while renovating a place that meant a lot to him as a child. In steps Maggie, Annabelle's teacher, who agrees to be her nanny for six weeks, before she leaves on her next adventure. Things start heating up quickly between Vane and Maggie. Will Maggie leave for her next adventure when her six weeks are up, or will she finally stop wandering and put down roots?

This book is shorter than I am used to reading, so at times, I wished for more background or details like you'd get in a longer novel.

Thanks to NetGalley for providing me a copy of this book in exchange of an honest review.

In all honestly, It felt like I was reading a draft. The concept was there, the characters were there, they had feelings and drive but it wasn’t connecting with them. It needed a lot more development, the book felt incomplete. I think I could have enjoyed more if these characters weren’t just shoved there and willingly. They trusted too fast, with too much and they did wrong to each other. Her fears weren’t enough of a problem for me and maybe is because I didn’t connect with her. I understood, just wasn’t into the character itself.

But that’s okay because I still enjoyed the story. It’s a quick read, doesn’t leave a bad taste in the mouth and you don’t need much to understand it. I love the trope of being a single father, I liked the aspect of not understanding and working through being a better support system for a child who lost her parents. Liked she was very much present in the story and an actual main focus.

The Billionaire’s Ward
By: Leslie North

📚💕⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💕📚

They all are living in the happiness Edge!

Leslie North’s writing is flawless, and the words are so captivating, the plot had so many twists and turns, I found myself ignoring everything around me and rooting page after page for these three. After a battle with cancer Annabelle looses her mom and is now in the care of Vane her cousin. He knows he needs to give her a stable home and asks her teacher to spend the summer with them. They’re insanely attracted to one another but can they risk hurting Annabelle? Can they step back and see they could be a forever kind of family or will Maggie move on at the end of the summer?

Authors Blurb: Vane McClellan is all business. He might come from money, but he’s worked hard to make his architecture firm one of the top in the country. But things have slammed to a halt in the wake of becoming guardian to Annabelle, his late cousin’s daughter. Vane fears Annabelle may need more than he can give her.

Maggie Stewart, Annabelle’s teacher, cares deeply for her students but likes to live footloose and fancy free. She’s about to move again but not before she gets Annabelle settled. They’ve grown close since the girl joined her class, and now Maggie has one final job: drop Annabelle off at Vane’s summer home.

When Maggie gets stranded at Vane’s vacation home, she gets a chance to see Vane vulnerable. The sight of a strong man doing his best in the face of new fatherhood melts her heart. When he asks her to stay and nanny Annabelle for the summer, Maggie agrees in hopes that she’ll be able to teach Vane how to be a father before her new job starts. Vane is happy to have someone he trusts to shepherd his young ward. As the three begin to become a family and Vane and Maggie give in to the passion that’s plagued them from day one, they’ll let themselves be something both have feared for a long time: happy. But when summer comes to an end, Vane and Maggie will have to decide if they want to follow their hearts...or their plans.

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Annabelle needs a support system. Vane tries so hard to be everything she needs. A nanny for the summer is just what they both needed.
I enjoyed this book very much.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Relay Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is the 3rd and last in a series. They are all stand alone. This one I felt like I had just read? From teacher to nanny to lover. Hmm. I liked Van, there wasn't much background given on him. Suddenly they are flying in a private plane? I didn't really care for Maggie. I think I may need a break from these. This felt stale to me. Quick read and mostly likeable characters and no cliffhanger. 3 stars. Just ok for me

Another fun LesIie North story, fun, flirty, chemistry filled read, I just find they seem to be losing a little bit of sparkle lately. Enjoyable read though
