Strange and quirky are the two words I would use to describe this read. I enjoyed what the author was doing, but not so much the characters. I didn’t connect with the story, which isn’t always necessary for me but it would’ve been nice here. I’m looking forward to reading more by this author, though!

this was a bizarre book but I really enjoyed reading it, the characters were great and I enjoyed going on this journey.

I tried to get into this book but it didn't keep my interest. I think the format of having many characters in a few different locations was confusing.

I liked the premise and writing style, but didn't feel any connection for the characters.
The book is fast paced, hectic even, which can be done well... But I didn't care enough about the characters to care about the plot.
Good attempt, I'm looking forward to more by this author.

This was unique & I liked the core story once it got going. It was a little too scattered and jumpy in start and I had a hard time getting into the story. The dialogue and character descriptions in the beginning where done in a way that somehow lagged and disoriented me.

I will usually give a book about 50 pages before I give up, if I'm not into it. For this one, I made it about 100 pages, and then I had to give up. It's weird, and I honestly had no idea what was going on at any time. I felt like I was dropped into the middle of a story, with no explanation. Just not the book for me.

I don't want to say I didn't enjoy this read, but I also didn't rave over it. It's a very quirky, strange book which I believe is set in an alternate reality of the present time (as 2016 is mentioned and BREXIT). To summarize it in one sentence: the world is overpopulated, and there is an undercover plan to release a virus that only kills human (keeping animals intact was very important to this group) to reduce the population.

I think what would have elevated this story is if the author had just organized it a little bit more. It takes place in 4 different cities and follows a wide range of characters. It constantly switches point of views in the 3rd person. I wish that every time there was a scene change, the author would have labeled the location and the character's name. We zoom so fast from one location to the other that it was very hard for me to keep up or understand what was going and where. The character narratives would change so abruptly I sometimes wouldn't realize we'd even switched characters POVs and it would confuse me even more, causing me to turn and reread the scene.

For the good things about this book: it was strange and quirky and a new take on some alternate reality future, which I very much liked the ambition of it.

IThis book I find very well written, since the first page you can dive deep into the storyline. I also liked the cover very well. It is nice designed in the color and in the design itself. The writing style is very good and very pleasant and fluently to read. The book has been very clearly structured and the plot is traceable and very interesting. The characters  look very authentic and traceable to me. The author succeeds in writing very detailing about the scenery, characters, surroundings and emotions. This story is fascinating, full of humor and consistent and at the same time.
