Still bawling post reading this book. What an extraordinary tale. I loved it. Dawn is a wonderful character, pulled apart by a horrific past by always seeing the bright side and helping everyone. I cried so much reading this, it's touching, heartbreakin and heartwarming all at the same time. And the ending was perfect

A really enlightening read that tackles the sensitive topics of homelessness ,mental health issues and post natal depression in a realistic informative manner! Centred around st Jude’s s a homeless hostel we are introduced to the staff grace and Peter and the varied different service users all with their own issues and backgrounds, what follows is a tale of hope, friendship, support and ultimately success as the lives of these people both staff and service users is changed beyond recognition and the security of st Jude’s is assured following a massive fundraising effort managed by dawn and involving everyone! A real feel good read that shows that anyone of us could need these services at some point and the work they do is amazing!
