Forbidden love and football

This was fun and romantic, with forbidden love (step-siblings). This is the second book in Sariah Wilson's End of the Line series, but could be read as a standalone. I really enjoyed the cameos from Jess and Logan from book 1, the Friend Zone, as well as the cameos and peek into Ford and Keilani's life.
Fans of football will enjoy this closed-door romance, even though it takes place during the off-season.
Addiction is discussed, Bash has drug use in his past that is mentioned.
There is innuendo, kissing (makeouts). This was a closed-door romance, I would rate it PG-13 for the topics mentioned above, innuendo, and kissing.

I absolutely loved the first book and had high expetations when i got into this one.
But this one did not pull me like i had hoped. At the first 10-15% i was kind of interested, but i just fell off the wagon after that. It just did not entertain me. The characters did not have much chemistry, mostly awkward encounters and chemistry sadly. The story was so and so, just alright -wich made me bummed since i really liked the first one.

Enjoyed this one. Sarah was a new to me author. I love to discover new authors. Sport Romances are always a bonus. Looking forward to reading more stories by this author.

Really liked this one! I read the first book in this series a while a go but really liked the characters and I enjoyed dhow it continued on with a new couple from the world!

What an angst-fest of emotion! Bash and Ember have quite the history- sweet first love mixed with heartbreak and zero closure. I was worried in the beginning of the book as I read that dating others would be the main plot and they would just avoid the feelings, but thankfully the author dives into their messy relationship and the reader gets to hang on for the ride as they work through their issues. They have awesome chemistry and the flashbacks helped establish their foundation of friendship and romance as they explore that territory again. Themes of trust, healing, forgiveness, family loyalty, and personal autonomy made this book deeper than I expected and increased my reading enjoyment!

This book was so entertaining. I was drawn into the story from the beginning and was involved until the end. The characters were complex and interesting. I found the story to be well paced and engrossing throughout the whole book. I was invested in the couple throughout the book and felt all the emotions through both the highs and lows of the story.The side characters were such an integral part of this story as well. This is the love story i needed to read at this time. If you want an entertaining and well written book this is it for you

I love Sariah Wilson’s she has done it again her books are always flirty fun reads. This is the second book in this great series! They clean which makes them even better to read.

The whole story revolves around the plot of "forbidden love." Bash and Ember meet in high school and fell in love. However, then their parents meet and fall in love, and get married. So now the two young lovers are new step-siblings. Which changes everything for them a couple years later they end up at the same school and try to pick back up. Unfortunately this is a very pg13 book but all in all not a bad book

LOVE HER BOOKS!! Bash and Ember are a new favorite!! Who does not love childhood sweethearts and second chances!?! If you love romance, pick this one! 😍😍😍

I struggled to get into this one unfortunately! It had a lot of cute moments and I really liked Bash but I just wasn't gripped by it. I ended up not finishing it because it didn't hold my interest. I think it might be right book wrong time for me.

One of my favorite authors. Oh, how her writing comes a long way. I love reading every book she has written. Let me say she never disappoints.

I loved Ember and Bash's story. A little forbidden and a little second chance. I loved watching the two reconnect while trying to hide their feelings. I liked that they had a lot of people in their corner. It was slow burn, but I think it was neccessary as they both had to come to terms with both their pasts and their future.

Due to Covid-19, I have delayed everything inclued reading books ...
When I could read again, I was overfloaded by work. We are on a very weird period.

I don't know why but this book was easier to understand than the previous one. I went inside the story easier too.

The only thing that remains negative is the length of the summary which spoils the story too much.

Although Bash is part of the American football team, it is less present than with Jess and Logan. We are more focused on the family unit.

I noticed that it is a bit trendy stepbrother and stepsister but it's the first that I read. In fact it's a little different because they know each other before their parents. In French, the term is less precise than in English.

Ember and Bash have injuries that you don't necessarily notice but that make them react in a certain way.

I enjoyed following the characters and meeting Jess and Logan. We are also entitled to an explanation of Ford's behavior with Keilani.

Some parts made me laugh. Mainly the double date which does not end as expected.

It seems to me that this second volume is the last in the series. I will be watching for future releases from Sariah Wilson.

This was just ok. I felt like the characters should've gotten their shit together earlier on in the book itself. Personally, I felt there was just too much push and pull between the characters. The book was low on angst and the chemistry between the characters was alright. Not altogether the best I've read, but it wasn't too bad either.

A solid new adult romance. I enjoyed the love story, the blended family situation and the chemistry between the two main characters.

A great story!! I loved Bash and Ember together. There was chemistry, banter, laughs and high emotions. Another well written, clean romance from Sariah Wilson. She's slowly becoming a firm favourite.
