This was a wonderful memoir about a survivor and her strength. It was beautifully written. I found it very inspiring.

I would like to thank Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy free of charge. This is my honest and unbiased opinion of it.

I thought this book would be about the wild camels in Australia, but appears I was mistaken. I found the introduction and preface to be overly explanatory and immediately gave me the sense the author was dramatic. Having grown up in a lower socioeconomic area I found the descriptions of childhood to be self indulgent, many people live through a lot worse and complain a lot less. I couldn't connect with the narrative and struggled to continue reading. I have no finished the book. I wish I could leave a more positive review.
