Book 2 of a series I think young first fiction book readers will enjoy! Nice little mysteries. Easy to read.

A wonderful follow up to the first Libbie Lyndton book. This series is perfect to introduce young readers to mysteries!

I did not realize this was the second book of a series. That didn't impede my experience of reading this one at all though. The previous happenings are quickly recapped in the first few chapters and it was a lovely book. A book I think my middle daughter would enjoy very much.

This was enjoyable. If you enjoyed the first entry in this series you will also enjoy this one.

The family dynamic is pretty much the same although I would say the relationship between Libbie and her sister Brenda is much better in this one.

I have given this 3 stars rather than 4 like the last one as I didnt have the same emotional reaction or connection to the story. Still had a heartfelt ending which ties into the mystery.

Still whole heartedly recommend this and I think children will love it.

A lovely second installment. Well-written, great story, a mystery suitable for children 7+ I should think and a series I will be recommending to my neices.
