It's clear that the author has knowledge of local history reading this book, so it's not just a ghost hunter chasing ghosts in hope of catching them in photos. Some of the photos might be a bit underwhelming, while others were pretty good.

I admire the authors knowledge of history and his insiders view of Williamsburg, but I agree with other reviewers opinions of the ghost photos, they are laughable.
Everyone looks the same, kind of like a bad Picasso painting, with a thin nose and strange features. Maybe that's what ghosts look like? Unconvincing and absurd.

A great read about Colonial Williamsburg’s history and ghost sightings. Without visiting the area you got a good idea of what it is like and the background to each sighting. Great for people interested in local history and the paranormal.

It's very clear that Tim Scullion has a passion for history and the paranormal. This is a well researched book, with stories of Colonial Williamsburg that only a true history buff would know.

While the photos are sometimes comical, I admire Tim's passion and drive to document each and everything that he saw.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this book.

If you are going to Colonial Williamsburg, then you need this book. It’s written by someone who used to be tour guide for that area! So many interesting facts about the places twisted with ghosts photos!

I have always had a fascination with the past, and the idea that it has somehow imprinted itself on the present is even more intriguing. I’m not sure I believe in ghosts, but I do believe there is more in our world than we truly understand. Scullion’s book is so good because he’s done such an excellent job of research, this is not a “I’ve seen a woman in white walking down the road” book. Readers will learn the historical significance of each location or spirit, putting the reports of a haunting in perspective. Whether you believe in ghosts or just want to learn some fascinating history, you will enjoy this well written book

I was a little underwhelmed by some of the pictures. There were some very interesting ones but many of them just didn't strike me as absolutely being ghosts or spirits.
