Short, fun story! I really liked the premise of this book, where she is a human lie detector! It was a little confusing near the end because of other story lines of characters. I'm assuming it will be future books, but it kind of read like the books were already out. Looking forward to reading more!

This book was not. my taste, there was too much about sex, more could have been written about the characters in general and left to the imagination.

This was a cute, brief story that I was able to complete quite quickly. I enjoyed #CampbellOrigins and it clearly established a family full of potential stories, whilst still being fully committed to Bev and Henry's story.

There were elements of the characterisation of Bev that annoyed me, BUT, they were fitting opinions and thought processes of someone from the time period.

Whilst the romance was really well written, there was little in the way of plot.

I really do look forward to getting to reading more about the Campbells.

This book was not to my taste. I liked the concept, I liked (most of) the characters, but at least 50% of it was sex scenes or discussions about what kind of sex they’re ok with, and it became very tedious. I really don’t want to know every single detail of anyone’s sex life.

I liked the way the story took place over several years, and they didn’t just rush into everything. The characters felt real and I enjoyed watching them grow together. Henry seems like a really nice guy, respectful of boundaries, even if a little arrogant at first. However, I really hated Beverley’s father. Who would call their own daughter a slut, or suggest that they might become one if they live on their own? That is wrong on so many levels. I thought it was a shame that Beverley had obviously become a rather overbearing mother, only happy if her children are happy in the way she prescribes.

Overall, this was an interesting and unusual love story, but it was spoiled for me by the excessive quantity and detail in the sex scenes.

While it does have some corny moments (sorry, the word hunk always skeeves me out a bit), this book is very cute and endearing. I probably finished it in about 2.5 hours total, between last night and this morning. Im looking forward to reading additional books in this series to come and hearing the stories of Bev and Henry's children.
