Managed to misread the archive date, thinking it was far later than it was, and so I failed to download and read in time.

For die-hard fans of the noir genre this may be a fun read, but maybe less so for more casual readers. The stories were interesting but I didn't really care about any of the characters. Some of that is probably just due to the length of the stories, but I just never got into any of it to be honest.
